Police: Man's wife turns him in for downloading child porn

York, PA -
A wife called police and turned over evidence after she found child pornography her husband had downloaded onto the computer at their East Manchester Township home, police said.

Lambert Andrew Estrada, 40, of the 4100 block of Board Road, was charged Tuesday and is in York County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

His wife, Cynthia Estrada, told Northeastern Regional Police that, when she got home from work on March 12, she went to use the family laptop and noticed that her husband had downloaded a video from a pornographic website using his external hard drive.

Searching the hard drive, she found a file titled "magic tricks" that contained folders that had female names and ages on them, including one that said "Tara 8 years old," according to charging documents.

She found other similar folders, all with photos of children younger than 18 - some as young as 6 - and pornographic videos involving children, police said.

Cynthia Estrada called her minister, who told her to call police. She then turned over the laptop and three hard drives to police, according to charging documents.

Police said they found 24 videos of apparent child pornography on the laptop and 65 videos on Lambert Estrada's hard drive.

Police said they believe Lambert Estrada was also disseminating the material, based on his use of a peer-to-peer file-sharing network.

The charges

Police charged Lambert Andrew Estrada with the following:

--- Sexual abuse of children -- dissemination of photographs, videotapes, computer depictions and films

--- Sexual abuse of children -- child pornography

--- Criminal use of a communication facility
