Police: Woman walks into traffic, tries to bite trooper

Pennsylvania State Police arrested a Hanover woman early this morning after she walked on a state route in Reading Township, Adams County, and then tried to bite a trooper, according to a news release.
Police said that about 3:12 a.m., members of the Midway Volunteer Fire Company called them to Route 94, just south of Brown's Dam Road, for a woman walking in the southbound lane who was trying to "jump into traffic," according to the news release.
Police said when they arrived, they found Rebecca Sue Borsella, 53, "heavily intoxicated" and walking in the road. When they tried to handcuff her, she tried to bite one of them, according to the news release.
Borsella was arrested and placed in Adams County Prison.
