This is the view of Catholic Coptic Patriarch Cardinal Antonios Naguib, head of the country’s Catholic Church, with around 500.000 members.
He said that thee protests in Egypt “have brought out “really wonderful” displays of Christian-Muslim unity”.
The country was rocked by a wave of anti-Christian persecution at the start of the year, including the killing of 21 Coptic Orthodox worshipers by a Muslim extremist suicide bomber outside a church in Alexandria, Egypt.
Many analysts have expressed fear that the militant Muslim Brotherhood sect would exploit the protests in a bid to turn Egypt into an Islamic state.
But in an interview Feb. 1 with the Franciscan-run news service, Terrasanta.net, Patriarch Naguib said a new “maturity” is being demonstrated in the protests.

My comment:
The so-called “new maturity” of the Muslim Brotherhood and Catholics in Egypt, is a trap.
The Brotherhood have signalized that if they are invited to form a New Government, they want to dismiss the Egyptian peace agreement with Israel.
That is obviously pleasing to the Vatican, that did not recognize the Jewish state in 1948. Neither in 1967, nor at the beginning of the first Lebanese war in 1981.
The Pope waited till 1993, when it was obvious for everyone, that Islam was not going to be able to destroy Israel, without committing collective Arabian suicide. Like in the Nazi-area, the Pope had silently supported the bid to destroy the Jewish people.
The spirit that rules the Pope changed its tactic. Since the devil would not be able to destroy Israel by force, is would be smarter to lure the Jewish people into some kind of “peace agreement”, which will make them lower their defense shield. Than strike them.
The truth is fund in the pudding. Also in this message from the wicked Catholic Coptic Patriarch.
