Dr. Bill Lee will define the electrical frequencies AC magnetic field, AC electric field and radio (including microwaves). He helps us understand the amount of activity that is safe and how to measure the electrical fields.

Dr Bill Lee founder AlphaLab Incorporated in January 1993. Dr Lees PhD is in Physics (Superconducting Electronics, 1986). His company manufactures various electronics, including the TriField Meter (which reads a combination of electromagnetic fields). Over the years, a number of other standard meters were added, as well as custom designs. Dr Bill Lee is also holder of six patents.

What are Electromagnetic Fields and How Can We Protect Ourselves from Them?

Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) are areas of energy that surround electrical devices. Power lines, electrical wiring, and appliances produce EMFs.

Electromagnetic fields of all frequencies represent one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences, about which anxiety and speculation are spreading. All populations are now exposed to varying degrees of EMF, and the levels will continue to increase as technology advances.

The Defense Intelligence Agency of the United States released a document referenced below that had a security classification as "confidential" and has since been "unclassified".  This document may help us better understand why the U.S. military is interested in opposing a more protective guideline for microwave radiation.

Product of Interest:
* The TriFied Meter
The original TriField Meter combines all the features needed for fast, accurate measurements of electromagnetic fields. It independently measures electric field and magnetic field, and is properly scaled to indicate the full magnitude of currents produced by each type of field inside a conductive body. As a result, it "sees" much more than any other electromagnetic pollution meter. Depending on where the knob is set, the meter detects either frequency- weighted magnetic fields (two separate scales), or frequency-weighted electric fields in the ELF and VLF range. It has significant sensitivity at 100,000 Hz, well past the 17,000 Hz horizontal scan of video displays. The radio/microwave setting can detect up to three billion Hz (3 GHz), which lets you gauge radio- wave power, CB and cellular phone equipment, and many types of radars. Runs on a 9-volt transistor battery.
