Thank you so much for your support of the vitally important work of National Pro-Life Alliance in this election year.
Of course, I'm sure like me, you were devastated with the results on election night, leaving us with four more years of the most pro-abortion president in history.
Yet the efforts of NPLA and its members had an important impact in both U.S. House and Senate races that the mainstream media doesn't mention.
And while economics issues and Mr. Obama "looking presidential" in response to Hurricane Sandy hurt many of our candidates, you and I actually picked up support in both Houses of Congress for the Life at Conception Act to overturn Roe v. Wade.
In fact, NPLA-PAC and members played important roles in defeating five pro-abortion incumbents and winning new pledged Senators in Nebraska and Texas.
And in our 91 targeted House districts, pledged Life at Conception Act supporters won in 84 of them.
Thus in spite of what amounted to a Democrat tidal wave, support for the Life at Conception Act in Congress is now at an all-time high – something you won’t ever hear about in the pro-abortion national media.
Equally important was the election of strong new pro-life leaders to Congress like Steve Stockman of Texas and Thomas Massie of Kentucky.
Of course, we have our work cut out for us.
But I am more optimistic than ever.
The 2.4 million pro-lifers you helped NPLA identify and mobilize will play a continuing role in helping us hold politicians' feet to the fire on legislation defending the Sanctity of Life.
So thank you again for all your efforts to protect the lives of the innocent unborn.
For Life,
Martin Fox, President
