The U.S. Supreme Court will soon be deciding the fate of real marriage in our nation.
You see, right now there are five cases before the Supreme Court -- all of them challenging the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
And in the next week or so, the Supreme Court will decide how to proceed on them.
They could decide to hear them all individually, or they could roll all five into a single case against DOMA.
And if they do the latter, they could simply repeal the entire Defense of Marriage Act by judicial decree!
They could also choose to ignore all the cases, but that would be disastrous. Some of the cases have already been decided in favor of the Homosexual Agenda by lower courts.
And if they are not overturned, the results will cause serious harm to our nation.
California’s Proposition 8 is one of those cases.
Prop 8 -- a state constitutional amendment to protect real marriage -- was struck down by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Now that decision is being appealed to the Supreme Court.
Public Advocate has been working for almost a year to gather support and signatures to help sway the Court’s decision in favor of real marriage.
But if they never even hear the case or decide to uphold it... California will instantly be forced to legalize homosexual “marriages.”
Public Advocate has also filed an amicus brief in the Massachusetts case that tried to strike down DOMA entirely.
If these cases are not over-turned -- or even reviewed at all -- homosexual “marriage” will quickly become the law of the land!
But even if the Supreme Court does uphold DOMA, the Homosexual Lobby still plans to push hard for homosexual “marriage” nationwide.
They’ve already announced a national, coordinated strategy to pass homosexual “marriage” in at least seven -- and maybe even nine -- more states before the 2014 elections.
No matter what happens in the next few weeks, you and I are going to have to fight harder than ever if family values are going to survive in America.
I hope you will continue to stand with me.
For the Family,
Eugene Delgaudio
President, Public Advocate of the United States
P.S. I hope you will take a moment over this treasured holiday to say a prayer for the future of our nation; and for real, Godly marriage.
I am truly thankful for all the support you and hundreds of thousands of Americans have given me over the years.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
And please chip in with a donation of $10 or more to help Public Advocate fight for traditional values.
