Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher Dies AT 87
Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has died. She was 87. The U.K. press is reporting that Thatcher suffered a stroke. Lord Bell, Thatcher's spokesperson said, "It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning.” See our full coverage HERE.

A family of 5 was driving along Highway 50 in California when their SUV veered off the road, hit a concrete mile marker, a large tree, and a boulder before plunging into the American River.  Thankfully, a quick-thinking kayaker on the river came to the rescue.
