Tom Corbett is getting ready to sell out your gun rights.
That’s right, your own governor -- a “Republican” -- wants to ignore your Constitutional rights and appease the gun banners.
He wants to ban your right to assembly AND your right to keep and bear arms by outlawing gun shows in Pennsylvania.
One of the state’s most popular venues—the Farm Show Complex—hosts several gun shows a year and would most certainly fall under any kind of ban enacted by state officials.
The Farm Show Complex gun shows are places where those selling firearms must adhere to all of the regulations of a Federally Licensed Firearms dealer (FFL).
They must conduct background checks in order to sell a firearm to anyone who attends the show.
This is a practice Americans have engaged in for literally hundreds of years. Buying and selling of common goods on common grounds is as American as baseball or the 4th of July.
Apparently your governor doesn’t think you deserve that right.
He thinks it would be a “good thing” if you have less ability to exercise your Constitutional rights.
I think you should give him a call, today.
Right now across the country, there are scores of politicians threatening your Second Amendment rights.
But this one is in your back yard.
Call Governor Corbett and tell him that any further infringement on your liberty will be seen as unacceptable. Tell him to keep his hands off Pennsylvania gun shows.
717-787-2500.
Give Governor Corbett a call and tell him that “giving a thought” to gun control sounds like a road to compromise and that you, as a gun owner and voter, will not stand by and watch your freedoms be stripped away.
If Governor Corbett thinks it’s a “good idea” to ban the sale of firearms in public locations, it should be taken as nothing less than a direct attack on individual freedom.
Give him a call at 717-787-2500 and let him know what you think.
Your freedom is under attack from multiple corners of government. This is an example hitting close to your own home.
Make your voice heard and let the Governor know there are many Pennsylvanians who will be none too happy with more infringements on their freedom.
717-787-2500.
Call now and let him know what you think!
For Freedom,
Dudley Brown
Executive Vice President
