Public Advocate’s Battleground Action Initiative

I’ve hardly slept the last three days.

Over the past week, I have been faced with the gut-wrenching decision of whether or not to launch Public Advocate’s Battleground Action Initiative...

This program is designed to defend family values and real marriage in four states this November.

By Friday, I had given up hope that enough money would come in to pay for it.

Then at the last minute, I saw a huge surge in donations!

This gave me hope that America is still committed to fighting for real marriage and American morality.

But even with that blessed surge, there isn’t nearly enough.

I wrestled with it all night. I prayed over it.

And in the morning, I authorized my staff to launch the most crucial elements of the Battleground Action Initiative -- even though we have not yet reached our fundraising goals.

Now I am trusting that the money will come in time.
