BibleStudy.org handles 10,000th Bible question, has record year
FARMINGTON HILLS, Michigan - In 2010 God blessed THE Bible Study Web Site at BibleStudy.org with its best year in its fifteen-year history, reports full-time Webmaster and owner Alan Ruth.
In 2010 the site attracted 5,185,156 actual visitors, an increase of 30% above the previous year. These visitors requested 11,540,657 pages of Bible-based study materials, an incredible 31% above the previous year and the largest raw jump in study materials viewed (+2.7 Million) ever.
Last year the site was also blessed with achieving a MAJOR milestone in reaching the whole world with the Gospel. BibleStudy.org's Personal Answers to Bible Questions service received its 10,000th Bible question from the public during the year. Alan further reported:
"The site's Question and Answer service started in September 2002 and is staffed by several hard-working, mature Christian volunteers known collectively as the Email Evangelists. Their dedication to serving God by answering sometimes difficult and heart-rending personal questions makes the service possible. The Personal Answers to Questions outreach ended 2010 with a total of 10,065 questions handled since the service began.
"BibleStudy.org's popularity, in terms of visitors, has increase an amazing 428% compared to year 2004 totals. The total number of Bible articles viewed since 2004 has also dramatically increased by 260%.
"The Bible teaches not to despise the day of small things (Zech. 4:10) and that with God involved anything is possible. God has used the less than $2,000 donated for the year to do some great things."
BibleStudy.org's goal for 2011 is to serve 7 Million visitors who request 15 Million of its Web pages.

recently I was reading some of mike summer's articles from the magazine "Your Choice." One in particular caught my eye, which is the reason i am posting this comment. The question was, "Did God want Adam and Eve to sin?" Now when i first saw the title, I thought to myself, "ummmm that one is pretty easy. of course God would not want us to become slaves to sin." So i continued reading
Mike's interpretive reply. The first thing that caught my attention was when you wrote, "truthfully, most of mankind has not made a choice to rebel against God yet. They only know satan's side of the story." OK so, I see that you are referring to the Nations that have not yet been reached by missionaries representing Jesus Christ. Showing them the true way of life so that the good/evil
contrast is in plain sight.Good. What i do not understand is why you started it with and then proceeded to let the reader think that this is credible information. Think about what you
said for a minute and then reconsider the monumental expansion that is constantly multiplying as men are deceived by evil. The rebellion against God is widespread and has manifested into the hearts
of ample populations. This is one example of your approach to writing the answer to the title question. No disrespect mike, but when you are providing information about a critical topic(yes
critical because the prophetic word about Jesus returning when the whole world has been informed of the identity and Holiness of our savior)should not be a mere opinion or collective thought.
Supported and credible information is extremely important when any reference to God's word is being made. Again, please dont look at this comment and feel like i am judging you or anything about
you. I am just trying to help. If the whole world is capable of reading this then it should be something that isnt misleading. If you disagree and think i am wrong then please aquire several respectable opinions on the quality of your content so no confusion can come about. It is also very disappointing to come across certain subtle remarks and gestures that have a sense of arrogance and a lack of respect for God's reasoning. That is not being too harsh and i will explain. Here, straight from Mike's article...

"Man has to a large extent (with Satan's influence) turned the mind into a tool for self-deception. Is God terribly disappointed over that? Not on your life. He seems to want to happen what ever it will take to let us see for ourselves why Satan's way will never work! Look this is not right. First off, our minds do not decieve themselves, they were not created to do so. Satan's evil schemes do the decieving and, believe it or not, he is also responsible for polluting our minds with temptaion and sin. What we humans have done 'to a large extent' is give attention to the temptation, which we gave into and have been ever since the beginning. next paragraph, "Take the so called "fall of man" in the Garden of Eden. I believe that God set Adam and Eve up. Look at the story again. God creates man. He gives him dominion over the environment. He puts two trees in the middle of the Garden and tells them not to touch one. He also created curiosity. Now, if He really didn't want someone to touch something, why would He put it right in front of their nose?? I would have hidden it, or taken it to another place where they could not have found it even if they knew to look for it. If I, the created, am capable of figuring this out, someone as sharp an brilliant as God would have."-Mike, come on man. whats up with this. You are really going to start out with . what are you suggesting here? that you have conflicting ideas With God?and arent sure of his words? Please fill us in because that makes things confusing. Then you proceed to confidentely throw out there that God deliberately set up Adam and Eve for doom and the destruction of sin???? Your argument's point is that the connection between God's boundries and the fact that we have a sense of curiosity is somehow overlooked by The All-Knowing Creator of the Universe and
should have intervened so that he could disqualify that crucial moment of truth in which their was being administered? and then you have the nerve to say that God should have done what you thought
of in hiding the tree so it makes things easier? dont you see that you would be willing cheat what you had been agreed upon for the human race and in return you would falsify your own self and destroy your trust. and please dont take that the wrong way, if any one had a chance to make the decisions it would never last a second. There is a huge part you are leaving out. Think about what happened when Lucifer was exiled out of The Lords Kingdom. This is an extremely significant part in history that explains the commencment of the war declared between The Heavenly Host (God's Angels). This is the didvide of the Heavenly Host in which 1/3 of all the angels turned away from The Lord and followed Lucifer. It was then that GOOD was seperated eternally from the fallen ones who would then be the representation evil. The impact of such a devastating event had opened and disperesed the iniquity of the Deciever among the Holy angels, which gave rise to concerns regaurding the safety of the Holy Kingdom and it planted an idea in them that if it was possible for Lucifer to become an enemy of God and also decieve 1/3 of the Angels, then they are all not only
capable of falling into similar situations, but also vulnerable to the craftiness and temptation of satan. Therefore when God decided to create mankind, He knew that in order to be sure Adam and Eve would be genuine in their love, faith and relationship with Him, they would have to prove themselves pure in faith and love by turning away from the deciever and oppose any temptation. So in reality, God was indeed upset with them for their lack of trust and faith, which led them to be fooled by the serpent.Did God already
forsee this event? Yes he did. But, do not mistake our Father for a swindler who would desire and value our trust only to conceal a counterfeit arrangement that would betray in a pretense that would ultimately deny who He really is.

-One last thing.
Adam and Eve were not "gullible." That would not be the appropriate word to describe them. gullible does mean to be naive and be vulnerable to someone possibly taking advantage of you, but this word also suggests a condescending notion of disrespect (I say this because the word gullible is said to have a negative and condescending meaning as well. it feels as though it delivers less honor to our first ancestors."Remember, God wanted beings like Himself with which to share eternity. He wanted them to be as wise as serpents. So why not let them learn from the serpent himself? The inference in all of this is that God believed that with the intelligence He gave us we would ultimately be able to out fox Satan!" -Mike, where did you get this idea? Where in the bible does it say anything even remotely close to The Lord desiring for us to have an idea of independance so that our All Powerful Savior wouldnt have to intervene to help us outwit the enemy?? Can you please tell me when it was or where it states that God proclaimed a desire or expectation for people to outsmart the serpent? And do you think that our Father God, our refuge and strength
and most honorable instructor, would intend for Mankind, his beloved creation, to try and learn anything from the deciever? In fact we have been instructed to keep ourselves clear of temptation, so why would he want us to learn from the one who decieves. i mean we learn already what he has and does to to mankind and that teaches us how important it is to hold close and stand firm in our Savior Jesus Christ.im gonna stop here mike. i hope i havent offended you. i mean, wouldnt you agree that more refrencing from the bible would have strengthened this article greatly. i only see 2 quotes cited from the Bible. i know that it isnt about persuading people or changing anyone's(a task that we incapable of doing) life. Although everything we display to people in Jesus' name, should be done properly and with careful consideration. The way we represent our Father in Heaven should be the best that we can possibly do no matter what.
I want to say thanks for putting yourself out there and faithfully preaching God's words. hope i helped in some way
