2010 Highlights
* This year Amazing Facts Television (AFTV) went from just being an Internet channel to a 24/7 satellite broadcast across North America, and it has continued to grow in every way.
* Now 21 percent of the world’s population—that’s 1.4 billion people!—can now access Amazing Facts Bible Studies and sermons online in a language they understand.

* The Most Important Questions (MIQ) youth series was a phenomenal success! More than 1,000 sites registered for the event, with young viewers from more than 60 nations. Thousands of questions about God came in to our MIQteens.com website. Now the videos and new lesson book continue to spread salvation to teens around the country.

* More than a billion people around the world now have access to Amazing Facts television and radio programs. No, I’m not exaggerating!

Security Check
This is one of the major reasons I believe Jesus is coming very soon! Why? Because our Lord promised that when the gospel is preached in all the world, “the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). It’s happening now, friend!
I saw this firsthand last week when returning from an event in Los Angles.
I was passing through a crowded airport security area with my family. As our bags went through the X-ray machine one of the TSA officers looked at me and said, “Sir.” I thought to myself, “Oh no, do I have a security problem with my bag?” I was already concerned about being late for our flight.
He continued, “Are you on TV”? Now the other people in line were looking.
“Yes,” I said.
“Are you a preacher?”
I wondered how he recognized me, because I had on a baseball cap. Again I said “yes,” not sure what he would say next.
“I want you to know that you have an excellent program!” I thanked him and, trying not to hold up the line, I quickly gave him an Amazing Facts card with our website.
Walking to our departure gate, I praised the Lord. Not because someone recognized me, but because I knew it meant that people are hearing the message. Experiences like this are happening ever more frequently.
The truth is getting out!
No Retreat
Despite this incredible evangelistic progress, Amazing Facts is showing a financial shortfall for 2010. It saddens me to think that as we finalize the budget for 2011, we might need to scale back our broadcasts and evangelism plans.
This is no time to retreat! Let’s keep the truth flowing, now while the doors of global proclamation are still open. We will not always have this freedom to preach.
As you know, over these last 45 years, Amazing Facts has continued from month to month by faith, depending totally on what the Lord supplies through friends like you. Will you please pray about a generous year-end gift? It doesn’t really matter how “big” or “small” your gift is—$20, $50, $100, or $1,000 … or even $10,000—the impact you will have on a soul will be eternal.
By responding, you will also let us know that we can continue to make bold evangelistic plans for the coming year.
I hope that I can hear from you right away. Whatever the size of your gift, it will be gratefully received and put to immediate use in spreading the gospel. And remember, if you make a gift by December 31, it will count toward your 2010 tax deductions.
That’s a win-win-win in my book. A win for the Lord’s work, a win for your taxes, and a win for eternity.
