Nine arrested in prostitution sting in York - The York Daily Record

York, PA - Police arrested nine people during an undercover prostitution sting in the area of East Princess and South Duke streets in York on Thursday.



According to York City Police, the operation included the York City Nuisance Abatement Division, Patrol Division, East End Neighborhood Enforcement Unit, Pennsylvania State Police, York County District Attorney's Office, Southwest Neighborhood Unit and the Springettsbury Police Department.



The following people were arrested:



Roniece Antwonette Maxwell, 21, of the 500 block of West Princess Street in York was charged with prostitution and related offenses.



Rebecca Ann Bradley, 28, of the 200 block of East Philadelphia Street in York was charged with prostitution and related offenses.



Kimberly Sue Grimes, 48, no fixed address, was charged with prostitution and related offenses.



Grace H. Kennedy, 47, of the 200 block of Liberty Court in York, was arrested for prostitution and related offenses, and possession of drug paraphernalia.



Steven L. Hollinger, 41, of the 5100 block of Susquehanna Trial in York, was charged with patronizing prohibited, driving under suspension and operation of a vehicle without insurance.



Jose Luis Santiago, 53, of the 100 block of South Beaver Street in York, was charged with patronizing prohibited.



Joaquin Sierra Abrew, 51, of the 300 block of North Beaver Street in York, was charged with patronizing prohibited.



Kenneth W. Johnson, 42, of the 100 block of West King Street was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia after he allegedly attacked and attempted to rob an undercover officer. Read more about Johnson's case here



Tyrus Cobb Backer, 34, of the 1500 block of West Philadelphia Street in York, was charged with patronizing prohibited.
