5.000 More Nuclear Bomb Shelters To Be Built In Moscow

Switzerland is presently the only country in the world, where there is enough nuclear bomb shelters for the country's whole population.
But The American Dream reports Russia will construct 5.000 new nuclear bomb shelters in the city of Moscow by the end of 2012.
Hopefully, the world's major cities will follow Moscow's example.
Russian authorities believe that these new shelters are urgently needed.
Apparently current nuclear bomb shelters in Moscow can only hold approximately half the population and are quite outdated.
Nuclear weapons exist since the 1940's, and like most people I hope we never will have any big wars in the world again.
But the Russian view seems to be realistic.
The question is not so much if there will be a nuclear war, but rather when.
And when that happens, it will probable be too late to start to build nuclear bomb shelters.
But I'm quite confident most governments rather pay unemployed people for building nuclear bomb shelters in order to protect their civilians, rather than to pay them for doing nothing.
Today, most nations either have nuclear weapons already, or know how to build them.
The Russian urgency to build all these nuclear bomb shelters in Moscow, should have us all to reflect if our efforts to protect civilians and future generations are enough.
"And the cities of the nations fell", see Revelation 16:19.
