According to my contact in the Tennessee Senate, that’s what one of the fence-sitters said just hours after you started making your voice heard.
Your pressure worked and we won!
SB49 passed the Tennessee Senate 20-11.
But I want you to know what we were up against.
Outside the Tennessee capital, throngs of enraged homosexual activists spewed insults and hatred in typical fashion.
And on the blogs and on youtube, the Homosexual Lobby cranked up their obscene trash spewing machine.

They attacked us again and again but you and I stood strong.
And Public Advocate mobilized for victory!
First, I mobilized volunteers and staff to hand deliver a formal letter to every single Senate office to state our support for SB49.
Then, I alerted you and other Public Advocate supporters to the fight, and together we bombarded the Speaker’s office with phone calls demanding passage of this bill.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough.
My contact told me there were three fence-sitting Republicans holding up the legislation and that they needed to hear from pro-family voters just like you.
You took action and they heard you.
You see, decent Americans oppose government forced homosexual indoctrination in their children’s classrooms.
And parents don’t want their children to be taught ANY abnormal or perverse sexual behaviors.
You spoke and they heard. The bill passed 20-11!
But last week’s victory is not the end.
It still has to pass the Tennessee House and be signed by the Governor.
You can be sure, when this legislation goes to the Tennessee House Public Advocate will be there and your voices will be heard again. In the meantime, there are battles brewing across the states and in our nation’s capital.
The Homosexual Lobby will not take this loss lying down. They will double-down and come back with a vengeance. And Homosexual Classroom Indoctrination is at the top of their list.
That’s why I will stay in this fight.
And that’s why I hope I can count on you to stay in this fight as well.
