On the CNN media website, the title is unbelievable. The sad part is most will not be offended or even disturbed by it. This is promoting the pope as god and a one world order at the same time. Do you want to be part of this unity with the pope as your god? Look at  history for the answer.

"I think it must be obvious to you how we all live together on one Earth, and how absurd it is that we fight and kill each one," the pontiff said.

"We fly over most of the world and we don't see borders, but at the same time we realize that people fight with each other and there is a lot of violence in this world," Kelly said.

Cardinal Faulhaber, who helped negotiate the concordat with Hitler (and who ordained the present pope), assessed its international impact in a 1937 sermon: "At a time when the heads of the major nations in the world faced the new Germany with cool reserve and considerable suspicion, the Catholic Church, the greatest moral power on earth, through the Concordat expressed its confidence in the new German government."

The Pope, Pius XII, signed a concordat with Hitler recognizing and endorsing the Nazi Party. Here is a summary of that agreement:

"The German Catholic Church has rescinded its ban on joining the Nazi Party. The Catholic Centre party has dissolved itself. [And Articles 31 and 32 prevent any revival of this democratic Catholic party which had opposed the Nazis.] In the Reichskonkordat, the Vatican has promised that German Bishops and their subordinates will be obedient to and honour the Nazi state (Article 16). It has promised that German Catholic educators will teach children patriotic love for the Nazi state (Article 21). It has requested and received the Nazi dictatorship's promise to enforce internal Church decisions (Article 10). Cardinal Bertram of Breslau has called on Catholics to avoid all subversive or illegal (by Nazi definition) activities.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Hitler himself stated;

"I learned much from the Order of the Jesuits. Until now, there has never been anything more grandiose, on the earth, than the hierarchical organization of the Catholic church. I transferred much of this organization into my own party."

Walter Schellenberg, former chief of Nazi counter-espionage made this statement:

"The S.S. organization had been constituted by Himmler according to the principles of the Jesuit Order. Their regulations and the Spiritual Exercises prescribed by Ignatius of Loyola were the model Himmler tried to copy exactly. Himmler's title as supreme chief of the S.S. was to be the equivalent of the Jesuits' 'General' and the whole structure was a close imitation of the Catholic Church's hierarchical order."

The Holy Office of the Inquisition still exists today with exactly the same purpose and mission. It has merely been renamed "The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith".

In the US House of Representatives are 23 marble relief portraits of and I quote "historical figures noted for their work in establishing the principles that underlie American law". Source, the Architect of the Capitol.

So why do we have 2 of the worst Popes of the Roman Catholic Inquisitions included with notable historical law givers? Here is a quote from the same US Government website:



"The subjects of the reliefs were chosen by scholars from the University of Pennsylvania and the Columbia Historical Society of Washington, D.C. in consultation with authoritative staff members of the Library of Congress. The selection was approved by a special committee of 5 Members of the House of Representatives and the Architect of the Capitol."



These marble relief portraits were installed when the chamber was remodeled in 1949-1950.
