Free dinners Wednesday at wHoly Chicken
The owner of wHoly Chicken restaurant, 320 E. Philadelphia St. in York City, said he'll be giving away 1,000 free dinners Wednesday, Nov. 24, from noon to 7 p.m.
Edgar Rodriguez said the free platters are for anyone in the community, not just those in need.
Last year, wHoly Chicken gave away 500 platters with chicken, yellow rice, beans and mashed potatoes.
Rodriguez said he wants to do something to help and encourage the community.
