secularist school officials confiscate candy canes from children
because they allege the Christmas treats carry a religious message,
Americans are outraged.
Even the courts are outraged, at least enough to rule the students' religious rights have been violated.
But when the U.S. Supreme
Court refuses to hear the students' case asking that the candy-grabbers
be held accountable for violating their First Amendment rights, it can
mean only one thing.
