GLOBAL
ELITES REVEAL THE FINAL PLAN: DESTROY AMERICA

“The
black bull of power and evil began circling on the field of conflict
generations ago. Its blood red eyes of hate and lust for power zeroed
in on the man sent to slay him and end his rein of terror. Even though
decades have gone by in this ultimate battle, this courageous “man
(as in mankind) of valor” has been left to his own strength and
abilities that are clearly below the raw power and determination of
this luciferian symbol (tyrannical governmental military and police
state brute force). The black beast’s sole reason for existence
is to destroy the last challenge before the bull’s ultimate victory
over all living things in its path. As the bull contemplates his final
charge, supernatural rage overtakes him and he begins the final run
toward this man, representing the strength of the free citizenry, who
have faced this raging evil borne out of hell, and empowered by the
greed of those who will not allow this free man to survive.

No
compromise, no quarter, no peaceful co-existence. It is death to one
culture or the other. As the bull engages the free man by lifting him
onto his massive horns, the bull carries him to the trunk of a huge
tree and pins the man to its side. Death is imminent and sure to be
brutal. With only his bare hands to defend himself, the man looks deeply
into the eyes of this unholy machine, and in an instant, gouges those
eyes, and then pulls them out completely. The gravely wounded animal
pulls back his horns as the man lunges to the side and watches the beast
stumbles forward until it reaches the gorge that has divided the field
of battle from the meadow of freedom………..” (an
excerpt from “Evil’s Final Stand: Freedom Will Not Die”
a short novel in progress by Greg Evensen)

So,
if we attempt to follow the symbolism in this brief quote, where do
we begin to draw the lines together that established this bull’s
“breeding” and what about those who have so carefully nurtured
it to its position in the vast field of power and dominance? I suggest
the bull’s supernatural breeding comes from the same pit of darkness
and corruption as the bowels of Hell itself. Its “father”
was found in the demonic realm of money and governing power and it has
nourished itself on the blood of war waged in its name. Its “mother”
died in delivery because nothing could survive the arrival of such a
vile and baseless beast. Raised in an environment of hate and lust for
power unmatched in history, this ultimate destroyer has been groomed
for the final assault on the “man of valor” by its godless
handlers. Why the eyes as the target of freedom’s “man?”
Blinded by freedom’s retaliation, the bull, still very dangerous,
is no longer able to “see” its victim or what the man has
in store for his final assault on evil’s raging-out of control-behemoth.

Symbolically,
freedom’s “man,” ---us, would then be able to draw
the sword and slay the beast once and for all. Timing is truly everything.

By
waiting any longer, however; we are exposed to a mounting power and
rage that would limit a confrontation to the enemy’s strength
and timing, which would limit or eliminate our ability to take some
effective measure of a physical attack on the beast. By allowing it
to continue to feed and grow, we would be inviting our own demise in
the most brutal and overwhelming manner.

Timing,
as I have told hundreds of thousands, is the critical element here in
how “we,” the man of valor, respond to the escalating threat
circling in the field preparing its final assault. If you can get a
picture of our situation through this symbolic illustration, then you
just begin to understand the reality of world bankers, international
corporate entities, domestic political figures, and all of their related
networks and organizations mentioned so many times and how they have
all stood a safe distance from the bull, yet fed him and groomed him
for this moment. In reality, they wait even now, for the exact moment
when we are the weakest. When we have given up, agreed to accept their
terms, and while we cower, the beast moves in for the kill. That is
our nation at this moment. Make NO mistake; elections notwithstanding,
we are simply in an indefensible part of the field watching as the bull
circles for its final attack run.

All
of the usual cast of villains is still present. Goldman Sachs, the U.N.,
the Federal Reserve, corrupted federal courts, Eric Holder’s idea
of a Justice department. Andrew Traver’s BATFE, the Czars, Jeremiah
Wright, William Ayers, ACORN--- how many roaches can occupy a building?
They have all stood in that field, watching, waiting, lusting for this
moment.

Universities,
to me, are among the vilest offenders. Presidents that curry political
favor and money allow the most depraved faculty and curricula to flourish
in the name of academic freedom. Professors with no courage, no truth,
no dignity, no scruples, no values, and certainly no concern for their
students, impregnate their campus with a dedication to educational tyranny
worthy of 1930 Moscow or 1940 Berlin. They personally hand fed the bull.

501-C(3)
churches and apostate clerics also watered the bull. When it came down
to scriptural truth versus butts or bucks in the pews, they chose the
latter. Hundreds of thousands of sheep who came for comfort were lulled
into submission by the alluring sound of the devil’s flute. Did
we see right or wrong, spiritual strength and courage, the path of righteousness
and leadership or possibly mentoring the next generation to stand in
the face of evil? Nope, it wasn’t in the church bulletin. Scriptural
encouragement only came for a single verse when the offering plates
were passed.

“Guilty
as charged, depart from me, I never knew you.”

The
idea of brotherhood has meant love and unquestioned support. It is seen
in the military, fire teams, family, and in other mutually dependent
areas of our society. The value of brotherhood and the willingness to
sacrifice one’s life, if necessary, is the greatest commitment
one can give to another. So today, we look at the corruption, greed
and power cliques found in the trades and we believe all the lies about
brotherhood that the union bosses force on their locals. Unions have
become legalized mobs selling out to the greatest political whores available.
Their unionized stable hands groomed the bull in shifts.

Secret
societies including communistic Jews, an atheistic Israel, and the occult
constantly stir up the beast. Jesuits, Masons and the Vatican lead the
others in a diabolical mission to serve the beast, turning on the brave,
noble man we used to be. Fictional Allah and Islam with the Quran of
death, beat “believers” into submission with Sharia law.
We see the politically correct elite cramming Islam down our throats.
It is now on the table in every state, as the next leap of evolutionary
government and enlightened whore courts within America. They have all
cheered on the monster like the illegal alien’s idea of the supreme
Mexican bull fight, north of the used to be border.

Perverts
and vultures forging the minds of our children in the name of diversity
continue unchallenged by a sodomite serving government and public school
apparatus that cares only about indoctrination into the most vile of
all atrocities. The teaching of “anything goes” in the sexual
arena has ultimately caused the loss of sixty million babies to the
abortion grinder and the picture of the dumpster as the “home”
for unwanted anything goes results. This act of “justification”
in the killing of innocents, frees every Nazi sent to prison, and pardons
those war criminals who went to the Nuremburg gallows.

Add
to this list doctors and hospitals, the CDC, FDA, the Pharmaceutical
companies, Obama health care, courts that allow medical procedures that
kill in the name of research and you are living in today’s America.
They all helped keep the bull going on stimulants and Ritalin.
No
longer peace officers, law enforcers that Tase anyone close, work hand
in glove (for groping your crotch) with the TSA and the latest class
of government workers, to give you a cheap sex act in public, know no
sense of constitutional duty, just “come here little girl”
enticements as you travel to see grandma this Christmas. Grab their
crotch and watch the piggy squeal.

Tell
me to grow food with a government license? Legalize the illegals? Chem-trail
the skies, poison the land, feed us worthless food and GM fish? Spread
death in the gulf and bring in more drugs. Let’s do all we can
to demoralize our communities. Arrest and charge the good guys in Wisconsin
incorporated counties so that no rule of law exists. All of this and
more is coming in a not so lame duck (“T-Rex”) session of
congress. There needs to be some serious ass-kickin’ in Washington.
Rebel and don’t stop. Are you going to continue to pay extortion
money each April to feed the bull? When you feed the bull this much,
you are going to have to deal with a gigantic load of bullsh-t. But
then, these stupidos have learned to pave the streets of Washington
with this “poor-man’s” asphalt, so they have thought
of almost everything.

Are
you really going to keep quiet and not challenge the illegal laws enacted
by the truck load by these pimps and whores? Think you can hide from
the bull this way?

FOLLOW
THE MONEY-LOOK FOR THE POWER-FIND THE BULL

Want
to gouge out the eyes of the bull? Write scathing editorials, picket
hospitals, schools and colleges where bull breeding lessons are being
taught.

Stand
and be heard EVERY time a school board, city council, county commission
or state hearing room is open and in session. Smoke in the bars, have
pork cook-outs in the park next to the Mosque. Bring your pet pig into
the Muslim owned retail store. Get the picture? Get the IBM version
of the eye gouging manual out, study it well, and get ready for hand
to hand combat.

This
is a time to take no prisoners. They won’t let YOU go. The order
of the day will come to shoot on sight when the bull is blinded. So,
prepare to lock and load. There is no margin for error here. In combat,
you either survive or the enemy does. Plan your actions with great care.
Pray that God will allow sinful America to be reclaimed and rebuilt.
If God says no, then fix bayonets and send some of these demonic idiots
back to Hell.

Having
laid out the worst, can we make it through? Well, take on the full armor
of God as in Ephesians 6. My engraveable “Armor of God”
dog-tag hangs around my neck. Many, many folks have gotten theirs as
well and engraved them for family members who are soldiers as Christmas
gifts. See them and visit us at www.theheartlandusa.com.

Plan
for your lives as if the end of it all were at hand. We have tools to
assist you when the bull arrives. Work with others, build a group of
people you can count on. Do not be the generation that gave it all up
and quit. Think this through and don’t lose your focus. The moment
is historic and it rests in our hands. The bull has turned our way and
lowered his head.

The Torah is the lost book of the Egyptian god Thoth

Amplify’d from theoriginoflanguage.com

The Torah is the lost book of the Egyptian god Thoth who “expressed in words the                  wishes of Ra,” thus ThoRa.

The Tho-Rah the book the Egyptian claimed was lost, is in truth hidden in plain sight, given to Moses 3500 years ago by its author Yhwh, E.l.h.i.m אֱלֹהִים who is none other than the Egyptian Moon god Thoth, the god of all knowledge and all writing. This is what Lanyadoo claims in his upcoming book the Key to the Library listing over 30 points to support just such assertion.

•           Both Torah and the book of Thoth were reported as, “written with the finger of God,” on a stone provided by God.

•           Both Jews and Egyptians make the identical claim that the book of Thoth/Torah inscribes, “All of the secrets of the universe.”

•           Thoth’s other name "Dawty” became the Hebrew word “Daty,” meaning Religion.  Dat ToRah, meaning the Religion of ToRah, uses both of Thoth’s names. The English word Deity is from the Hebrew Daty meaning Thoth or meaning Religion which are one and the same. The name of his consort, Maat the goddess of Truth, was used for the Hebrew Amet, meaning Truth.

•           The Hebrew name Elohym spells the words El Hayam- אֱלֹ-הִים, meaning “god of the ocean”, which the diacritical marks hide.  Since the moon controls the oceans it is therefore a fitting acronym for the god Thoth. This name also explains the reason why all life is water-based and Earth is a mostly watery planet that possesses a very unique Moon.

•           Yhwh/Tho/Elohim decreed the Jewish holidays basing them specifically on the less accurate moon cycles. It is important to note that Thoth is credited with inventing the 365 day sun year. Shab-aT means Sat Tho.

•           Christian holidays are based on the sun/son god Ra which is the secret reason Christians switched. Chri-smass (callout.sun) and use a calendar based on sun cycle. Together we worship the mysterious Yhwh a.k.a Tho Ra.  Sun-Day celebrates the Sun/son god Ra/Yhwh. It also explains the meaning of the words Vatican beti.can = my-house.here and Catho-lic = This-sect.for-me.

Once the Hebrew language codes are used, it becomes clear that the Torah is retelling the Sumerian-Egyptian myth almost verbatim, using very sophisticated computer generated codes.  It somehow manages to combine names with attributes, while formulas become words.

•           Mc2 becomes C.M.C which spells out shin.mem.shin –Shemesh-Sun.  The formula-word C.M.C expresses how the sun makes energy.  Finally, the speed of light is 300 km/m/s and the letter C-Shin has a value of 300, this makes the Hebrew word, shemesh/sun, CMC identical to Einstein’s famous formula. It wasn’t a coincidence or lucky that Einstein “decided” to go with C (constant) for the speed of light instead of the more natural L.

•           The Sun god Ra appears in Hebrew as the word Or, meaning Light, and Re-a, meaning, See and Mirror. It appears as Ray and Re (re-do, mirror.do) in English. It also appears in IsRaEl=”There is the god Ra” which is the name given Jacob when he asked the name of the god he was fighting.

•           The magic of combining a formula (fo-re-mila = here.see.word) with an attribute was created by gods who according to the Sumerian Atra (Tha-Ra) Hassis myth landed here from the planet Ni-Baru, meaning the crossers in Sumerian(Hebrew–Evri means crosser) in a space ship 432,000 before the flood when Australopithecus roamed the land. They came in search for gold with which to save their planet and left Torah with which to save ours.

The Torah needs to be combined with other myths before we can understand the message these books are carrying: that we Cro-Ma-Gn-on (called.from.garden.god) were genetically redesigned, created as helpers, salves, “to tend the garden”, this event occurred only recently, a blink of an evolutionary eye ago, but enough time for us to turn from barely surviving primates to gods on Earth advanced enough to understand the To-Rah true message, what truly happened in our past.  Combining DNA (verdicts.god) of aliens and earthlings was the method used to create Adam. A-dam = god.blood,  Adama = Earth, Adam=Earthling with god-Blood, which explains the shape of the Y chromosome which they installed evidenced by the fact that we as Australopithecus had 2X chromosomes. The shape of the Y chromosome was designed to look that way in order to suggest pictorially that two races were combined to one, that’s Y.

This has never been about the past; it’s always been about the fu-Tu-Re(here.Tho.Ra), preparing us for the time the alien (El.an = god.I) gods return to reside in Ye-Ru-Shalem. Ye-Ru = See/god.Ra    Shalem = complete, paid-up, in-peace.

  • The word Torah is from the Hebrew word Tor meaning Queue, thus Torah literally means its turn, suggesting what other myths, the Kabbalah, the Sumerian and Egyptian myth claim: that the Torah is a ‘stone of destiny,’ a computer program that pre-determines our future.

  • The Sumerian half-brother gods Enki (Tho) and Enlil (Ra), who rule earth (ear = Ra, th = Tho), moved from Sumer, meaning guardian in Hebrew, to Neter (Egypt) also meaning guardian in Hebrew and changed their names to Thoth and Ra or if you will, Tov & Ra meaning Good & Bad.  The God Yhwh was good-Thov while the bad-Ra in Hebrew, was Ra who secretly impregnated Eve and was therefore depicted with a snake mask or snake headwear. Yhwh meaning Y-howeh = god.now, is a title, not a name and therefore both gods and their father Anu were called Yhwh.

  • Thoth, carried the Ankh, identifying him as the Sumerian god Enki/Tho/Yhwh, the head of the Anaki Gods (Enki) who came from heaven and live forever.  The symbol of eternal life was eventually used as the basis for the cross which Jesus, the son of god, the Israelite, the Crosser who claimed, “I am not of this world,” was nailed to and later resurrected.  The Egyptian and Sumerian myths credit Tho/Yhwh /Enki with resurrective powers.

  • The New Testament, the Atra-Hassis and the Egyptian myth all tell of the creation of a secret son of god. The Old Testament tells the same story in code claiming Cain is the secret son of god and Eve, the true “first born of creation”. Hare Krishna was also born of a virgin birth to earthling woman and the sun god, his mother placed him in a reed basket and placed it in the river.  He grew up as a cow herder (Moses and David were a sheep herders).  All the myths tell the same story… “The same woman with different clothing” is the Hebrew saying.

•           Is the moon an artificial body? Psalm suggests a time without a moon…the word Moon is from the Hebrew Maon meaning Residence. The word Loona means to Sleep/reside-in, it makes up the word Hotel. Is god residing on the dark side of the moon? Why didn’t we build a station on the moon? Why did we choose to float in the middle of nothingness in a space station?

•           The Hebrew Nation who went out of Egypt were not some elusive and almost mythical group of people but the Aamu from the city of Avaris, is what they called themselves “Am Evri,” “nation Hebrew”, otherwise known as the Hyksos, a name given to them by the Greeks. They lived next to and then ruled over Egypt and were known as the “Semitic Pharaohs.” Who contributed a lot to the advancement of the Egyptian people.   They left or were kicked out about 3500 years ago during the reign of the Pharaoh Akmoses whose name means Brother.Moses (Moses was a prince).  All ancient historians equated the Hebrews with the Amu tribe from the city of Avaris but the Egyptians erased any recorded history with this name.  In an effort to erase the Avaris the city of Avaris’s name was changed to Ramses which the Torah claims the Hebrews built. But there is no Erasing of Bahar Yoseph.

•           Bahar Yousef “the ocean of Joseph,” the single most important Egyptian irrigation project in 4000 years was designed Yoseph and built by the Evris from Avaris, dramatically increasing the irrigable land and is still used in feeding millions.  Joseph, who suggested it, was the only one who knew how to build it. That and not his ability to read dreams is the real reason Joseph was put in charge of Egypt.  Eventually, his brothers the tax collectors became rulers over Egypt which explains why there are no records that the Aamu invaded Egypt.

•           Ra with the help of Tho also created Rouh elohim = the holy ghost, “To remember the slain god” whose blood was used to make A-Dam = god.blood.  The Egyptian myth makes a similar claim that a second secret creation of light entities designed to judge mankind in his stead was ordered by Ra, which not coincidently, is described in the word Aur-a meaning in Hebrew light.god, Light(from Hebrew word Lahat meaning burning.flame) is AuRa is Ra.

•           The light of Ra is the Holy Ghost, the Soul, the Aura (aur –a =light.god), a light that surrounds the body, our personal Ava-tar=father Th.Re. The part of us that that lives forever letting the body go when we die, rising to become the light of Ra. The Aura, the soul then returns to earth to surround another body…

•           The first word in the Torah is Beroshit usually translated as, in the beginning, but Be-Rosh-Y-T literally means in.head.god.Thoth, which is the way both Sumerian and Egyptian myths described how god first created the world.  God’s creation tool is imagination which was then gifted to Adam. It is the reason the Kabbalah claims god created the letters before the universe was created - he had to, even god needs to imagine before He can create.  Hebrew letters are symbolic representation of agreed upon pictures; the basic building blocks of imagination had to be imagined (created) before the universe was created.  Language is a system that allows Gods and humans to create by programing us with the ability to “freeze a picture in time and space”, by framing it and naming it, we are then able to move and reassemble it into a new picture. Letters created words and words became sentences. In other words Tho had to imagined the Letters, picture-words first because they are the building blocks of creation.

•         The evidence that Hebrew was the language spoken when “all languages were one” is encoded in the name Jeriko = Ye-rikho meaning God.Moon in Hebrew.  Yerikho is the oldest city in the world and has been continuously inhabited for the past 11,000 years, since the Stone Age, when it was first built as a walled city with a tower and an internal staircase.  This predates the invention of agriculture by at least 1,000 years.  More importantly, it predates Babel and therefore predates the confounding of language by at least 4,000 years.  It means that thousands of years before the Sumerian and the Egyptian dynasties there were a people and a culture that spoke Hebrew, built cities and worshiped the moon god who controls the oceans.  The word Yareah-moon is related to the Hebrew words Roah meaning Wind and Spirituality (sephirots-emanations-counting).

•       In chapter 3 of Genesis we are told in code that god’s secret son, the first “first born of creation” is Cain.  In chapter 4 the sons of Cain are listed as contributing all knowledge to mankind, described as the ”father of metal workers,” “father of tent builders,” etc. Though we are given a lot more information about them than the sons of Seth that were simply reported as lived had children and died, left conspicuously missing is their lifespan, suggesting by their absence that they are gods who live forever.  Genesis, Chapter 5 lists the bloodlines of Adam, listing Seth as Adam’s first born which indirectly confirms Cain’s true origins because it intentionally omitted Cain the first born of Eve as a son of Adam. Chapter 6 confirms Cain’s very talented offspring are called after their grandfather  making them “the sons of god” “who took the daughters of man”. That was when the line of Cain married the line of Seth, which upset god who curtailed human life expectancy from 1000 to 120.

All our forefathers from Noah (950 years) to Jacob (147 years) were demi gods which is denoted clearly but in code. Our forefathers are reported to live to well over 120 years which god decreed as the limit for humans therefore anyone living over 120 years is a demi-God. Moses is reported as an earthling living to 120 years but his Alien ancestry is clearly noted. His father is reported to live to 137 and his brother Aaron to 121. That’s why the Torah is such a stickler to mention everyone’s ages (except Cain’s line…).

•           God is not the name of an entity but rather the name of a communication tool used by the god Ra to impart ideas to human: The word GoD denotes the location of the god Rays (Ra). It points to the Purple Gamma rays in the D (4) band which is then called G-D. It is the reason why after god contacts the Israelis telepathically at Mount Sinai, which the text describes as “weyerou et hakolot” “and they saw the voices”, he calls the people of Israel Am Segula translated as special people but literally means “purple people” suggesting a unique ability to receive information from the purple-g-d rays. Or if you will a Thought-Ray.

•           The Egyptians claim no one could get rid of Ra as a ruler of the gods because the secrets that rule earth were hidden in his body, in light that he doles out to humans periodically. Ra asked Tho to create the light being to judge in his stead, to be his representatives judging the unjust and reporting back to Ra. Ra to Aura, Aura to subconscious.

•           The Hebrew word Nahash meaning Snake and Mashiyah meaning Messiah are both cosmically the same, both words add up numerically to 358.

•           We are told in code Noah (noun.Hait), the surviving earthling is two third god seed, his name uses the first two letters in Nahash (Noun.Hait.Shin). His son Sh.M came back as MoSheH, M.Sh.H which reads backward as HaSheM while Ham his youngest son came back as Muhammad Mem.Hait.Maim.dalet  red backward it read Dam.Ham meaning Blood.Ham.

The Torah is the story of the secret seed of god.

A Newly Developed Language Decoder Reveals the Torah is the Lost Book of Thoth

A Newly Developed Language Decoder Reveals the Torah is the Lost Book of Thoth Who is Hebrew God Yhwh-Elohim

In his upcoming book the Keys to the library, Joe Lanyadoo reveals a new decoder that offers a new understanding of the Torah, the origin of language and the origin of the human race. Using the decoder reveals that all religious writings tell the same story and were written by the same deity.

The Tho-Ra was given to Moses 3500 years ago by its author Yhwh, E.l.h.i.m אֱלֹהִים who is none other than the Egyptian Moon god Thoth, the god of all knowledge and all writing who Lanyadoo claims wrote all religious myths.

Belvedere Tiburon, CA (PRWEB) December 5, 2010

The Egyptians claim the book of Thoth was lost, but in truth it is hidden in plain sight. This is what Lanyadoo claims in his upcoming book about the origin of the human race, religion and language called The Key to the Library listing over 30 points to support just such assertion. Below are 10 of those points.

  •                 Thoth’s other name "Dawty” is the origin of the Hebrew word “Daty,” meaning Religion.

  •                 Both Torah and the book of Thoth were reported as, “written with the finger of God,” on a stone provided by God.

  •                  Both Jews and Egyptians make the identical claim that the book of Thoth/Torah inscribes, “All of the secrets of the universe.”

  •     The Hebrew name Elohym spells the words El Hayam-, meaning “god of the ocean”, which the diacritical marks hide. This is a fitting acronym for the Moon god Thoth because the moon controls the oceans. This attribute also explains the reason why all life is water-based and Earth is a mostly watery planet that possesses a very unique Moon that acts like a planet. Beroshit, the first word in the Torah which was never used again was mistranslated as “in the beginning” but it literally means B.Rosh.iT = In.Head.Tho. Sabbath = Shab.aT = Sat.Tho.

  •     Yhwh/Tho/Elohim decreed the Jewish holidays basing them specifically on the less accurate moon cycles. It is important to note that Thoth is credited with inventing the 365 day sun year.

  •     Christian holidays are based on the sun/son god Ra which is the secret reason Christians switched to a calendar based on sun cycle, Chri-smass (callout.sun). Sun-Day celebrates the Sun/son god Ra/Yhwh. It also explains the meaning of the words Vatican beti.can = my-house.here and Catho.lic = This-sect.for-me. Together Jews and Christians worship the mysterious Yhwh a.k.a Tho & Ra. Hanukah called the “Holiday of Light”, like Christmas celebrates the “god of Light” (light = Or) the god Ra.

Once the Hebrew language codes are used, it becomes clear that the Torah is retelling the Sumerian-Egyptian myth almost verbatim, using very sophisticated computer generated codes. It somehow manages to combine names with attributes, while formulas become words.

  •     Mc2 becomes C.M.C which spells out shin.mem.shin = Shemesh-Sun. The formula-word C.M.C expresses how the sun makes energy. Finally, the speed of light is 300 km/m.s and the letter C-Shin has a value of 300. Einstein’s famous formula is the Hebrew word, shemesh/sun, CMC. It couldn’t have been a coincidence or lucky that Einstein “decided” to go with C (constant) for the speed of light instead of the more natural L.

  •     The Sun god Ra appears in Hebrew as the word Or, meaning Light, and Re-a, meaning, See/Mirror. It appears in English as Ray (sun) and most commonly as Re as in: re-do = mirror.do. It also appears in IsRaEl = There-is.Ra.god. This name was given to Jacob when he insisted on a name before he agreed to let-go of the god he was fighting.

  •     The decoded meaning of formula (fo.re.mila = here.see.word) demonstrates the magic of combining a word with an attribute. This kind of language was created by gods who according to the Sumerian Atra (Tha.Ra) Hassis myth came from the planet Ni.Baru, meaning the crossers in Sumerian sounding similar to He.brew–Evri meaning crosser in Hebrew, who landed here in a space ship 432,000 before the flood when Australopithecus roamed the land. They came in search for gold with which to save their planet and left us the Torah with which to save ours.

Lanyadoo demonstrates that the Torah, the book of Tho reveals that we Homo-Sepian (saphian = speaking.man) Cro.Ma.Gn.on (called.from.garden.god) were genetically redesigned as intelligent workers “to tend the garden”, that is why only hy.br.id (god.created.hand) male(m.el=from.god) was first created.

This event occurred only recently, a blink of an evolutionary eye ago, 60,000 years ago, but enough time for us to turn from barely surviving primates to gods on Earth. Combining those myths using Hebrew suggests that the Sumerian story tells the Tru.th (Tora.Tho), that the DNA (dn.a=verdicts.god) of a slain Anaki-god and earthlings blood was combined to create Adam. This is confirmed when the name Adam is decoded: A.dam = god.blood, Adama = Earth, Adam = Earthling.god-Blood.

Lanyadoo concludes that this has never been about the past; it’s always been about the Fu.Tu.Re = Here.Tho.See. Or: Here.Torah, preparing us for the time the Au.Tho.R of all knowledge, the programmer of our DNA, the god Elohim/Yhwh = Tho.Rah returns to reside in Ye.Ru.Shalaim= god.Ra.Complete. Shilem = paid-up. Shalem = one-Piece. Shalom = In.Peace

Does a New Life Form Mean God Is Dead?

David Gibson
Religion Reporter
The discovery of what is apparently an entirely new form of life -- a bacteria based on toxic arsenic rather than phosphorus, one of the six building blocks of all life on Earth -- has set the scientific world abuzz, prompting White House inquiries to NASA and threatening to upend longstanding beliefs about biology.

But some say the announcement also signals an end to religious faith, or at least the beginning of the end, because it implies that life can spring forth unexpectedly on Earth or even on other planets, and in unexpected forms -- developments that seem to run counter to literal readings of biblical creation accounts.

"The polite thing to say is that discoveries such as this don't really impeach the credibility of established religion, but in truth of course they really do," David Niose, president of the American Humanist Association (AHA), a leading secularist organization, said of this week's revelations about the microbes discovered in Lake Mono in California.

"The fact that life can spring forth in this way from nature, taken in context with what else we've learned in recent centuries about space and time, surely makes it less plausible that the human animal is the specially favored creation of all-powerful, all-knowing divinity," Niose said.

Another shot in the Wars of Science and Religion?

Maybe not.

Jesus and Mary at the crossThe arsenic-based microbe discovery "sounds like a nice piece of work; we'll see where it goes from here," Brother Guy Consolmagno, a Jesuit and a planetary scientist at the Vatican Observatory, wrote in an e-mail to Politics Daily. (Yes, the Catholic Church was doing science long before Galileo.)

"But," he added, "any scientific discovery that broadens our knowledge of creation, deepens our understanding of the Creator."

Consolmagno, who a few weeks ago made news for saying he'd be delighted to find intelligent life on other planets, is typical of religious believers who don't see faith and science as natural enemies.

Even some vocal atheists who see belief and science as inevitable opponents -- with belief the problem, not the solution -- weren't buying the AHA's arguments about the discovery's importance.

"I regret to say that the American Humanists got the story wrong," PZ Myers, a biologist at the University of Minnesota and a famously trenchant critic of religion, told Politics Daily. Myers, who details his arguments at his blog, says the problem is their reading of the science.

"They say 'a new form of life has been discovered that apparently evolved outside the scope of all previously discovered life on Earth,' and this is not correct: the bacteria studied share a common ancestor with us, and the novelty of the discovery was not the organism, but that this entirely earthly organism was capable of incorporating arsenic into its chemistry. So no, their claims of its significant impact on our understanding of the history of life on Earth are overblown."

Myers does see a silver lining of sorts (at least from his non-believer's point of view) because the discovery "does represent an incremental increase in our understanding, just as science does every day."

"The point should be that the whole of science provides a direct challenge to religious belief, not that any one event is so definitive," Myers said.

Brother Guy would disagree with that assertion, but he pointed out that for the AHA and similar groups, "obviously this is no 'proof' since obviously they'd decided years ago, for whatever other reasons, that there was no God."

Faith, it seems, comes in many forms.

Niose of the American Humanist Association did concede that it is "unlikely that this discovery will change the minds of those who insist on a literal interpretation of the Bible."

"To them, the world is about 6,000 years old and evolution is a hoax, and no amount of scientific evidence will change that. For the rest of us, however, this discovery is indeed profound, and it adds to the mountains of evidence that already point to the humanistic lifestance as being our best hope."

Maybe the true test of the impact of the discovery will come in a few years time, when we can see whether there are more tourists visiting Lake Mono looking for the arsenic-eating bugs or more pilgrims checking out the full-scale replica of Noah's Ark that a well-known creationist group said this week it will build in northern Kentucky -- at a cost of $150 million, including taxpayer subsidies.

Given the success of the group's Creation Museum, which drew its millionth visitor last spring, it'd be wise not to bet against the Ark.

Nuns gone wild

Looking for music manuscripts, scholar Craig A. Monson uncovered surprising stories of what went on inside convents

“You who’ve got that little trinket/ So delightful and so pleasing/ Might I take my hand and sink it/ ’Neath petticoat and cassock, squeezing.”

Craig A. Monson, a music professor at Washington University in St. Louis, found this ribald ditty in a music manuscript he stumbled across in a museum in Florence 24 years ago. It seemed like a typical naughty lyric from the 16th century, the kind that might have been sung in a bawdy tavern. Except for one thing: The manuscript came from a convent.

We might think of nuns as deeply religious, quiet, and loath to cause trouble. But in the course of his research, Monson kept encountering a rebellious undercurrent in convent life: In 16th, 17th, and 18th-century Italy, nuns routinely sought loopholes in the edicts issued by local church authorities, and occasionally broke rules in spectacular fashion, giving local bishops and cardinals in Rome a huge headache.

The stories in his new book, “Nuns Behaving Badly: Tales of Music, Magic, Art & Arson in the Convents of Italy,” illustrate how much the role of religious communities like convents has changed over time. Entering a convent in Italy in this period was not always, as it is now, a voluntary lifetime commitment for especially pious women, Monson writes: Many upper-class women took the veil for practical reasons, or cultural ones. Convents offered security and respectability, and sending a daughter to a nunnery cost families less than marrying her off. Nuns also elected their own superiors, which gave them a certain degree of independence. And that is where the trouble began.

Poring through thick volumes of correspondence between the Vatican and local church authorities, Monson pieced together five of the most dramatic stories he found of misbehaving nuns in Italy during this period — nuns who plotted escapes, who burned down their own convent, and one who got caught sneaking out to the opera, disguised as an abbot. They are striking for the amount of detail and first-person testimony they include — the local bishops’ investigations of nuns’ misdeeds involved interviews, typically recorded word-for-word by church scribes.

Monson spoke to Ideas from his office in St. Louis. This interview was condensed from two separate conversations.

IDEAS: Where did convents fit into Italian society at that time, compared with convents in the United States today?

MONSON: I think we think today of convents as being a very marginal part of life, and kind of extraordinary, probably even exotic....But if you think for example in the city of Bologna...there were 24 convents....They were a central aspect of life, particularly for the upper classes.

IDEAS: Today we often think of nuns as being teachers, nurses, social workers. What was the function of convents in this era?

MONSON: They played such a wide variety of roles. On the one hand, they are an important social construction to provide for lots and lots of women when they can’t be provided with husbands....But they are also the parish churches in the neighborhood....One of their most important roles was as intercessors for the city and the neighborhood. These women were praying constantly....That was their main job, as intercessors with heaven.

IDEAS: And yet they didn’t always join for religious reasons.

MONSON: We’re talking about convents that were a bit like sanctified sorority houses. The reality for women of the upper classes was that normally a family might groom one daughter for the marriage market, but they didn’t want to give huge dowries for all their daughters, or they would squander all the family patrimony. So the other daughters were bound over to the nunneries.

IDEAS: Could they see family members or friends?

MONSON: You were excommunicated if you went outside the boundary of the cloister....The normal place that the outside world met the convent was in the room that was called the parlatorio....A double room, with a public room where the public could visit and then an inner room for the nuns, and there’s a grille that separates the two over the window.

IDEAS: So what are these tales you discovered about, essentially?

MONSON: These were women who were relatively well educated, from aristocratic families, locked up behind a wall where they are invisible, and they are given a certain amount of autonomy....One can see how they would have developed a certain amount of independence and created their own culture.

IDEAS: There’s one story about the nuns of San Niccolò di Strozzi who in 1673 burned down their own convent. Why arson?

MONSON: There are three ways of being released from obligation of monastic enclosure: pestilence, war and fire. Pestilence and war weren’t quite in the picture. So fire was the alternative. Apparently they voted...that they were going to do this.

IDEAS: These nuns eventually never did get to go home, though.

MONSON: No. They end up in another convent and ultimately came back to the rebuilt San Niccolò.

IDEAS: You also came across a convent in Pavia where a pair of nuns was investigated for running away from the convent. Why did they want to leave?

MONSON: A certain amount of laxity had developed within the house....The nun who fled describes herself as pious. When she was the prioress, she claims, she tried to reintroduce good behavior, but that had gotten her in such bad trouble that the other nuns had tried to poison her.

IDEAS: Because they were upset about restrictions on their freedom?

MONSON: Yes. So she said she left because she was disgusted. And of course leaving didn’t mean she ran off into the countryside. She went a few blocks away to another convent....At the same time one of her so-called disciples had been thrown out for bad behavior. And so she and this girl left together. And specifically, they were described as leaving hand-in-hand.

IDEAS: Why was that significant?

MONSON: It conveyed that they had what St. Teresa of Avila and others called a “particular friendship.” That meant that they had a...relationship that put their personal connection...above the relationships of the entire community.

IDEAS: So in convents, even very close friendships were suspect.

MONSON: Absolutely, because it might make people focus on each other rather than the wider community. Now the way it’s painted in the testimony of the other nuns, it is clearly a hyper-romantic relationship. There is a lot of talk about their having slept together, whatever that meant. But nobody says anything except they shared the same bed. Of course that was something the church hierarchy took an extremely dim view of. Nuns weren’t even supposed to share the same room.

IDEAS: What would you say surprised you most about these nuns, overall?

MONSON: I think it is how resourceful they were. I get troubled when people seem to regard them as victims....What interests me is the ways they manage to create lives for themselves that worked.

IDEAS: It seems like a really hard world for people today to appreciate.

MONSON: Absolutely. It is a different world. We have this idea that we deserve personal freedom and sexual fulfillment. Those are modern notions. They wouldn’t have thought that way....Your individual freedom might be less important than the good of the larger society, however it is perceived or constructed.

One European child in five a victim of sexual abuse

One European child in five a victim of sexual abuse

by Paul Russell

The Council of Europe has decided to launch a campaign against sexual violence on children. Maud de Boer Buquicchio, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe announced that in Europe that one in five children is sexually abused during the presentation in Rome of the campaign, titled “One in five. ”

She also called for enhanced international cooperation in the prosecution of criminals. She said that Every day, children are abused, often by people they trust including parents, teachers and authority figures.

Cardinal Renato Martino, former Vatican representative to the United Nations, speaking at the launch of the campaign, expressed the strong encouragement of Benedict XVI for the work against sexual violence against children. While the Catholic Church is facing a severe crisis due to several high profile pedophilia scandals surrounding its clergy, Bishop Martino has highlighted the suffering, clarity, rigor and firmness with which the pope had faced the reality of sexual crime against children.

The campaign aims to teach children ages 4 to 7 years their rights to set limits on how they are dealt with and it is the subject of a series of TV spots, a children’s book, posters and a website (http://www.onnetouchepasici.org).

The Council of Europe has also prepared kits for parents and schools on ways to prevent sexual abuse by carefully selecting teachers and practicing zero tolerance. Maud de Boer Buquicchio hoped that this campaign would inspire countries around the world to tackle the global phenomenon of child abuse and to make sure that international borders were not an obstacle to legal action against criminals.

Let’s leave the condoms on the
bedside table for now. Pope Benedict XVI has much more to say in
his book-length interview with German journalist Peter Seewald.

In “Light of the World,” Seewald, an earnest Catholic,
guides the pope through topics ranging from pedophile priests
and drugs to the ordination of women and the Second Coming.
Benedict’s responses, some humorous, are worth reading even
after you’ve flipped to the bit where he says condoms may be
justified in some cases, as “perhaps” for a male prostitute.

Even as a lapsed Protestant, I was engrossed by the book’s
rare insights into a leader who usually appears impossibly aloof
-- an elderly, white-robed patriarch viewed from afar, waving to
crowds and speaking Latin. (He wears the cassock even at home,
he says. No sweaters for him.)

Often seen as a dry academic steeped in dogma, Benedict is
better known for the things he did before, rather than after,
his election as supreme pontiff in 2005. In his 24 years as John Paul II’s doctrinal enforcer, he helped oust priests who
diverged from orthodoxy and asserted the superiority of the
Roman Catholic Church over other Christian religions. His hard-
line stances on homosexuality, women priests and birth control
won him enemies, both within the church and without.

PR Disasters

Though there’s plenty here to make non-believers balk, his
clarity on complex issues is compelling. If nothing else, the
book succeeds as a public-relations vehicle for a pope who has
had his share of PR disasters.

Seewald, who has written for Der Spiegel, Stern and the
Sueddeutsche Zeitung, rediscovered his Catholic faith 14 years
ago, after an interview with Benedict when he was still Cardinal
Joseph Ratzinger
. For this book, he spent one hour a day over
six days with the 83-year-old pope in July -- the most
extensive, one-on-one papal interview ever.

Benedict doesn’t play down the damage done by pedophile
priests. The scandal was like “the crater of a volcano, out of
which suddenly a tremendous cloud of filth came, darkening and
soiling everything,” he says. He understands that Catholics who
were sexually abused as children may find it hard “to keep
believing that the church is a source of good,” he says.

“Insofar as it is the truth, we must be grateful for every
disclosure,” he says, though he voices concern that some news
coverage was motivated by pleasure in discrediting the church.
He never considered resigning or, as he puts it, “running
away.”

Secular Threat

His longer-term challenge is to hold onto his flock. The
threat, in his view, doesn’t arise from other religions.
Unsurprisingly, it comes from the spread of secularism.

Attempts to force the Vatican to change its opposition to
homosexuality and the ordination of women would rob the church
of the right “to live out her own identity,” he says. So
that’s a “no” to female, married or gay priests anytime soon.

Still, his willingness to address all these subjects and to
acknowledge that gay prostitutes even exist is surprising. Which
brings us back to condoms.

The pope has hardly become an enthusiastic supporter
overnight. The church “does not regard it as a real or moral
solution” yet accepts that, to prevent the spread of AIDS, it
could be “a first step in a movement toward a different way, a
more human way of living sexuality.” What seems a small
concession could save thousands of lives in Africa.

Nor is the pope averse to a touch of populist outreach in
his fight to save souls. Of late, he has taken to putting the
sacrament directly on the tongues of communicants at St. Peter’s
Basilica
in the Vatican.

“I have heard,” he confides, “of people who, after
receiving communion, stick the Host in their wallet to take home
as a kind of souvenir.”

“Light of the World: The Pope, the Church and the Signs of
the Times” is published by Ignatius Press in the U.S. (239
pages, $21.95) and by Herder Verlag in Germany under the title
“Licht der Welt” (256 pages, 19.95 euros). To buy this book in

Munich Church hid abuse allegations for decades

Munich Church hid abuse allegations for decades

Photo: DPA

A report on abuse by clergy in Pope Benedict’s former Archbishopric of Munich shows that at least 159 priests were suspected of sexual or physical abuse while the actual number is thought to be considerably higher.

Marion Westphal, the former judge who compiled the report for the Catholic Church from files and interviews of people who worked there, said files had been systematically destroyed over decades in order to hide the abuse.

The role of Pope Benedict XVI while archbishop of Munich between 1977 and 1982, could not be clearly defined, said Westphal, but she described the record keeping during that time as catastrophic.

After working through more than 13,200 files dating back to 1945, Westphal said church staff had focussed on preventing a scandal rather than on the problem of abuse itself.

There was indications of abuse in 365 files, despite what she said was a systematic attempt to cover up the problem, according to Der Spiegel on Saturday.

Only 26 cases of sexual abuse resulted in convictions of priests, she noted, but said that there was sufficient proof of such allegations against at least 17 more priests.

Two priests were convicted of other physical abuse charges, although Westphal said 36 other cases could have been proven.

Westphal said there were enormous holes in the record keeping of the bishopric, with some files such as convictions and reasons for transfers from the bishopric not even retained.

“We are dealing with extensive destruction of paperwork,” she said.

In one case this included much information about the involvement of the Pope – then Archbishop Joseph Ratzinger.

She said there was evidence in the files that he dealt with one case where a priest accused of sexual abuse was prevented from continuing to work as a priest.

Ratzinger wrote him a long letter explaining the reasons for this decision. But the poor state of the files means it cannot be determined whether any charges were pressed against him.

Westphal said she did not think this was likely to have been the case, but said that Ratzinger would probably not have dealt with that decision personally as such things were left to the vicar General.

The German parliamentary leadership has been debating whether to invite Pope Benedict to address the Bundestag during his visit next year, according to Bild newspaper.

Nobert Lammert, parliamentary president, from the Christian Democratic Union, referred to an invitation from 2006, to which the Vatican did not reply, as reason to invite Benedict to address parliament.

The first supporters of the idea have already started to speak out, according to the report, with Christian Social Union interior affairs expert Norbert Geis saying it would be a ‘huge honour’ for the parliament.

Kennedys respond to Palin barbs

The speech is credited with helping Kennedy overcome doubts about whether he would be beholden to the Vatican as America's first Catholic president.

By Michael J. Bailey, Globe Staff

There are perils in picking a fight with a dead man. Just ask Sarah Palin.

One of her targets in her new book, former president John F. Kennedy, may not be able to defend himself, but his famous family is willing to pick up the gauntlet.

In an opinion article yesterday for the Washington Post, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend excoriates Palin, the former Alaska governor and current omnipresent political force, for criticizing her uncle and the seminal speech he made on religion and politics a half century ago. In the speech before a gathering of ministers in Houston, the candidate Kennedy implored Americans to judge him not on his faith, but on his views. The speech is credited with helping Kennedy overcome doubts about whether he would be beholden to the Vatican as America's first Catholic president.

In her book, "America by Heart, Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag,'' Palin laments that the speech appears to detach a leader's personal faith from his public role, creating an "unequivocal divorce of the two," Palin writes.

Instead of seeking to "run away from religion,'' Palin asserts, Kennedy should have embraced his Catholicism. And the electorate, she extrapolates, should embrace leaders who interweave their faith into their decision-making.

For Kennedy Townsend, such an interpretation not only mischaracterizes her uncle, it profoundly misunderstands the fundamental fabric of an American ideal.

"The truth is that my uncle knew quite well that what made America so special was its revolutionary assertion of freedom of religion,'' Kennedy Townsend writes. "No nation on Earth had ever framed in law that faith should be of no interest to government officials."

Kennedy Townsend, a daughter of Robert F. Kennedy and a former lieutenant governor of Maryland, recently helped form America Bridge, a non-profit group that seeks to raise money for Democratic candidates and causes, a counterpart to the highly successful American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS organizations. Those outside groups raised tens of millions of dollars for Republican candidates in the midterm elections.

Yet, Kennedy Townsend's piece is less a political counterpunch than a philosophical, and at times very personal, riposte.

"Faith runs as a deep current through my family,'' she writes. "Faith inspired my uncles' and my father's dedication to justice."

But no litmus test should exist for a leader's faith, she argues. "Palin's book makes clear just how dangerous her proposed path can be," Kennedy Townsend writes. "Not only does she want people to reveal their beliefs, but she wants to sit in judgment of them if their views don't match her own."

"Who anointed her our grand inquisitor?"

Kennedy Townsend also defends her uncle, Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts, and his work for women's rights, which sometimes put him at odds with the Catholic Church. Such actions would be in the spirit of service exemplified by the president.

"John F. Kennedy knew that tearing down the wall separating church and state would tempt us toward self-righteousness and contempt for others,'' she writes.

In contrast, she continues, "Palin fails to understand the genius of our nation. The United States is one of the most vibrant religious countries on Earth precisely because of its religious freedom. When power and faith are entwined, faith loses. Power tends to obfuscate, corrupt and focus on temporal rather than eternal purposes.

"Somehow Palin misses this."

Archbishop stresses on efforts towards unity - The Times of India

PUNE: Only sincere dialogue between religions can save our culture, said Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio, Vatican Ambassador to India, after inaugurating the new post-graduate block at Jnana-Deepa Vidyapeeth (JDV) in Ramwadi on Friday evening. Representing the Papal Nuncia, Pennacchio also attended an ecumenical prayer meeting organised by the Poona Diocese at Bishop Valerian Hall, behind St Patrick's Cathedral on Saturday morning, where he stressed on the progress in communion among churches and efforts towards unity.

The academic block at JDV, a pontifical institution that caters to the philosophical and religious formation of 750 Christian leaders, is dedicated to Father Joseph Neuner, a renowned theologian who has also served as a spiritual guide to Mother Teresa. December 3 marked his first death anniversary. The inaguration was also attended by Rev Thomas Dabre, the bishop of Poona Diocese and Rev Edward Mudavassery, Presidents of Jesuits in India.

Pennacchio stressed on deeper philosophical reflection which will help us appreciate other religions. He also emphasised that "religion should seriously take up the social dimension of human life."

The high point of the function was blessing a chapel, based on Indian tradition. Job Kozhamthadam, president of JDV, announced some of the new inter-disciplinary post-graduate programmes that JDV will be soon starting Yogadham, Centre for Yoga and Meditation: Centre for Applied Ethics, Centre for Social Science Management and Centre for Spirituality and Centre for Science Religion Studies.

During the prayer meeting on Saturday, Pennacchio conveyed the Apostolic blessings of Pope Beneditc XVI. "There is a felt need for unity among all churches because of the common spiritual experience. The collaboration among churches has been increasing. This has obviously led to the more fundamental areas of interaction, cooperation, collaboration and dialogue. Opening up to dialogue in theological areas with the view to resolving the divisions is a very positive and challenging initiative," said Pennacchio.

He further said, "differences in doctrines and theological perspectives have hindered the growth of unity. But the challenge of taking the path of ecumenical interaction and dialogue encourages us."

The prayer meeting was attended by Christians from various denominations, and heads from Anglican Church of Pune, Methodist Church of Pune, CNI Church of Pune, CSI Church of Pune, Union Biblical Seminary, United Theological Seminary, Hindustan Covenant Church, Nazarene Church, Salvation Army Church, Assemblies of God Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church of Pune and many other Pastors from the city of Pune.

Pakistan Minister Condemns Reward for Killing Christian Woman

Pakistan Minister Condemns Reward for Killing Christian Woman

By Ethan Cole|Christian Post Reporter

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti condemned Saturday the recent announcement of a reward for killing the jailed Christian woman on death row for blasphemy.

Bhatti said the call is unjust and irresponsible and should be discouraged in the strongest possible manner because no one has the right to issue a decree to kill someone else, according to Pakistan’s Daily Times newspaper. He also added that Pakistan is a civilized country and violation of the rule of law is not allowed.

“Every legal and constitutional means will be adopted in the Asia Bibi case,” assured Bhatti, who was in charge of investigating the case and reported that Bibi was innocent to President Asif Ali Zadari.

A hard-line imam known for making similar reward-for-murder calls in the past offered about $6,000 (500,000 rupees) to anyone who kills Asia Bibi during his sermon at the largest mosque in Peshawar on Friday. Imam Maulana Yousuf Qureshi also threatened the government to not amend or repeal the blasphemy laws “which provide protection to the sanctity of Holy Prophet Muhammad,” according to Asia News.

Qureshi, who had also called for the murder of the Danish cartoonists who drew caricatures of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad, said that if the appeals court judge freed Bibi then Muslim extremists will kill her.

"There are hundreds of thousands of people including mujahedin (warriors) and Taliban who are ready to sacrifice their lives for the honor of the Prophet Muhammad. Anyone of them could finish her," Qureshi said Friday, according to All Pakistan Minorities Alliance, a human rights group with which Bhatti formerly served as chairman.

Bibi, a mother of five, has been imprisoned for one-and-a-half years and was sentenced in November to death by hanging for allegedly speaking ill of Muslim Prophet Muhammad.

She is Christian and is the first woman to receive a death sentence for blasphemy in Pakistan.

Her case has sparked international outcry against Pakistan’s blasphemy laws, which are often used against religious minorities after a small non-religious-related dispute. According to Bibi, her imprisonment and death sentence stems from a petty argument she had with fellow field workers in June 2009.

She was picking fruit in the field with fellow Muslim workers and went to get water for the group. Upon returning, the Muslim women in the field refused to drink the water because the container was touched by a Christian.

Bibi was offended and argued with the women, but then afterwards thought nothing of the incident. However, a few days later dozens of Muslims dragged her away. She was accused of blasphemy against the Muslim Prophet Muhammad, which she denies.

Bhatti has submitted a report to President Zadari stating that his findings show Bibi to be innocent. But the country’s high court this past Monday barred the Pakistani government from pardoning her. It said doing so while a case is pending is illegal.

The high court has yet to set a date for Bibi’s appeals hearing.

World Council of Churches Head, Pope Benedict Discuss Church Unity

WCC Head, Pope Benedict Discuss Church Unity

By Jennifer Riley|Christian Post Reporter

World Council of Churches general secretary, the Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit, met with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on Saturday to discuss church unity and the situation of Christians in the Middle East.

Benedict suggested allowing the Bible to be the centerpiece in theological discussion and reflection as a way to strengthen visible Christian unity, according to Tveit. It was the first time Tveit had a meeting with the pope since he assumed the role of WCC general secretary in January. But it was the second time the ecumenical leader visited the Vatican this year.

“We had a very open and friendly conversation,” said Tveit. “He emphasized in a very kind and also a very strong way the importance of the World Council of Churches’ work and the ministry I am called to do as general secretary.”

Benedict, then theologian and Archbishop Joseph Ratzinger, had been involved in WCC’s Commission on Faith and Order in the early 1970’s. Tveit said Benedict expressed interest in WCC’s work with theological issues and how to strengthen visible unity between churches.

The Roman Catholic Church, a single church representing more than one billion people, participates in several WCC activities, including the Faith and Order Commission, the Commission on World Mission and Evangelism, and the Joint Commission of the WCC and the Roman Catholic Church. Catholic representatives also provide input in the planning of the 10th WCC Assembly in Busan, Korea in 2013.

In addition to visible church unity, Tveit and Benedict also discussed how to support Christianity in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq where the tiny population has come under increased violent attacks. They also talked about how churches can have a united witness when it comes to the conflict between Israel and Palestinians. The two agreed that there needs to be building of trust between the conflicting groups there and a commitment to continuing dialogue.

“I mentioned the great importance of the Roman Catholic Church there and how it is also contributing to the one ecumenical voice in Jerusalem,” recalled the WCC general secretary.

WCC has 349 member churches that collectively represent more than 550 million Christians worldwide. The fellowship includes the Orthodox, Anglican, Protestant and some Pentecostal and Evangelical Churches. Tveit’s trip to Rome ends Sunday.
