The digital currency Bitcoin, which began as an idea in 1998, but truly took on a working form in 2009, has hit a major milestone. It reached the $1 billion benchmark. The Atlantic Wire reported that the exchange rate for Bitcon on Thursday exceeded $95 per Bitcoin – that’s a 152 percent increase for the month. 	Butter Knife Brought To Cut A Pear Sparks Student Suspention 13-yr-old Morgan LaPlaume, a student at Wamsutta Middle School, told Boston’s WXFT-TV that she brought the knife to cut her pear during lunch, which she can’t eat whole because of her braces.
