It's a rarity, but there's good news on the gun front.
A judge has ruled that, after a year and a half behind bars, Rick and Ryin Reese of New Mexico can be released on bail.
And he followed up that order with a decision that the Reeses'
original trial was tainted and that a new trial should be granted,
saying "There is no doubt that the prosecution, intentionally or
negligently, suppressed the evidence.”
Justice might prevail after all ...

good news ... this time in the case of Army 1st Lt. Michael Behenna,
who is serving 15 years in Leavenworth for shooting an Iraqi terror
suspect who lunged for his gun during questioning.
It seems the U.S. Supreme Court wants an explanation for such a
severe sentence imposed on a soldier in a theater of war, based on the
legal theory he had no right of self defense ...
