Dear Friends,
Bro. Lucan Chartier
has recently been notified of a warrant for his arrest at the behest of the
General Conference. As a result, he intends to turn himself into authorities on
July 31st at 6:30 pm on the Loma Linda University Church property. He will be holding
a press conference beforehand, as local Adventists succeeded in apprehending
Pastor McGill before he had the opportunity to appear at the scheduled July
15th event. Several media outlets have already confirmed their attendance, and
more are expected in the following days. Bro. Chartier will not be arriving in
the area before the time of the conference to avoid any potential attempts by
the Adventist leadership to continue to keep their actions under the radar of
their constituency.
We are enclosing a press release to pass to the relevant parties.

ARRESTS
CONTINUE IN ADVENTIST TRADEMARK CASE
Seventh-Day
Adventist Church Has Assistant Jailed After Incarcerating Pastor
On
July 31st, Lucan Chartier of the Creation Seventh Day Adventist
Church will be turning himself into the custody of the U.S. Marshals service on
the Loma Linda University grounds in Loma Linda, CA in response to a Federal
warrant. His arrest follows that of Pastor Walter “Chick” McGill who was taken
into custody at the same location earlier in July, two days before he had
intended to turn himself in. Mr. Chartier will be holding a press conference
before surrendering himself to authorities. It is highly possible that the Seventh-day Adventist church will
seek to facilitate his arrest during the event.
Mr. Chartier is
charged with violating a court order and twice repainting signs on the Creation
Seventh Day Adventist Church in Guys, TN after the Seventh-day Adventist
denomination had them removed. Pastor McGill has been fasting for the duration
of his incarceration, his arrest having been covered by several media outlets.
Mr. Chartier is the second Creation Seventh Day Adventist to be jailed by the
Seventh-day Adventist denomination within the month.
