Police: Man stabbed Friday afternoon in York

York City Police are investigating a stabbing that took place on Walnut and Broad streets Friday afternoon, according to a news release.

Kenneth Jones of the 600 block of Chestnut Street said he was walking in the area about 3:30 p.m. when four men assaulted him, the release states. Jones sustained a minor laceration to the left side of his chest, police said.

Jones was treated at Memorial Hospital.
