Slush fund accounts of major US politicians identified and seized at Vatican Bank (Rome). Connection established with Daniel Dal Bosco RICO indictment, which cites Giancarlo Bruno, Silvio Berlusconi & Ban Ki Moon.   On Wednesday 5th January 2011, it emerged that US establishment-related slush fund accounts had been located in, and seized from, the Vatican Bank in Rome.

The source of funds for these accounts in almost every instance was found to be the US Treasury.   Beneficiaries of the covert Vatican accounts include Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and each of the Obama children, Michelle Obama’s mother, all the Bushes and the Clintons, including Chelsea Clinton, Joe Biden, Timothy Geithner, Janet Napolitano, several US Senators, including Mitch McConnell, several US Congressmen including John Boehner, several US Military Chiefs of Staff, the US Provost Marshal, the US Judge Advocate General, the US Supreme Court Chief Justice, John Roberts, several US Judges, the Pope, and several cardinals.   Big money was found in each of the accounts.

The longer the beneficiaries have been in office, the greater the account balances were found to be. They range from a few million USD to more than a billion USD in the case of John Roberts. The total number of slush fund accounts so far identified at the Vatican Bank is said to be between 600 and 700. This number is likely to grow as international élite corruption investigations spread worldwide.

The disclosures have split the Roman Catholic Legatus organisation down the middle. Elizabeth Windsor (Queen Elizabeth II of England) is in the know and is intimately involved in the swirling and fissiparous covert power plays.

this is possibly the biggy..check it out..a theory we were shown 3 years ago is playing out..and legatus HAS gone very quiet the last month..nikki watches them like a hawk and they have backed off with news about their summit in february..i dont doubt any of this even though the sources are not always great..we have been on this gig for a while and now we see something concrete..the news that could bring a downturn?

Caveat Emptor as always..

Vatican decision still unclear on Sfeir resignation

Vatican decision still unclear on Sfeir resignation

Conflicting
reports continue to emerge over the Vatican’s decision regarding
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Butros Sfeir’s resignation, as Lebanese
religious and political leaders prepare to head for Rome next week to
participate in the unveiling of the statue of Saint Maroun in Saint
Peter’s square.

Sfeir
submitted his resignation to the Vatican late last year, but it remains
unknown whether the election of a new patriarch, if Sfeir’s resignation
is accepted, will take place before or after the election of a number of
Maronite bishops to replace those who have reached the retirement age
of 75.

The bishops who
have reached retirement age could still vote to elect a new patriarch as
long as their successors have not been appointed, while the patriarch
has no retirement age.

Some
media have speculated that a new patriarch will be elected on March 8,
but sources close to Bkirki have described such reports as “rumors”
since Sfeir’s resignation has yet to be accepted.

The reports said the
pope was expected to announce his acceptance of Sfeir’s resignation on
Feb. 22, when he meets Sfeir on the sidelines of the unveiling of Saint
Maroun’s statue.

President Michel Sleiman and other top officials are scheduled to accompany Sfeir during the trip to the Vatican.

The
prefect of the Congregation of Oriental Churches at the Vatican,
Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, is due in Beirut on Mar. 14 to take part in
ceremonies to be held in Bkirki to celebrate

the silver jubilee of
Sfeir’s election as patriarch and his golden jubilee as a bishop.

Lebanon's Spring still far off

Sfeir told reporters at Beirut airport Sunday before leaving for the Vatican: “We thank God that what happened in other countries did not happen in Lebanon. This is a grace.”

Lebanon's Spring still far off
By Hussein Dakroub

Will the wave of public protests currently sweeping the Arab world and which has so far led to the overthrow of two autocratic presidents and is seriously threatening other authoritarian regimes hit Lebanon?

So far, “Lebanon’s Spring” seems to be far off. All signs indicate that Lebanon is immune to the popular uprising that swept Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak from power on Feb. 11, less than a month after Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali was ousted in a similar uprising demanding public freedoms and an end to one-man rule.

The successful revolts in Egypt and Tunisia have inspired other Arab citizens who have long yearned for a democratic change and public freedoms in their countries that have been ruled for decades by dictators or authoritarian governments.

Public protests demanding either a total regime change or political and economic reforms have so far engulfed Bahrain, Libya, Yemen, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Sudan and Djibouti, amid a strong possibility of the “Day of Rage” fever spreading to other Arab countries.

There are several major factors that make Lebanon immune to the “Winter of Rage” that is currently sweeping the Arab world.

Ironically, leaders of the two rival Lebanese factions, the March 8 and March 14 camps, must be thanked for their current sharp political divisions on how the country should be run.

These divisions keep the feuding parties’ supporters polarized to their masters’ power struggle instead of gearing their efforts toward a regime change in a country where the delicate sectarian balance has to be maintained if Lebanon is to avoid a new bout of sectarian violence.

In Lebanon, the president who under the Lebanese Constitution cannot act as an autocrat and must follow constitutional rules with regard to his role, is not the target of either of the two factions in any power struggle. Besides, unlike presidents and kings in some Arab countries who can rule for life, a Lebanese president is elected every six years. Any extension of the president’s mandate for only three years needs a constitutional amendment.

An attempt by the March 14 coalition in 2006 to march onto the Presidential Palace in Baabda, east of Beirut, to force then-President Emile Lahoud to step down before the end of his extended term failed mainly because Cardinal Nasrallah Butros Sfeir, the head of the powerful Maronite Catholic Church to which Lahoud belongs, opposed the move.

Also, unlike the rest of Arab countries where public freedoms are suppressed and human rights are violated almost on a daily basis, Lebanon is the only country in the Arab world that has adopted democracy as its ruling system since it won independence from France 1943. According to this system, all kinds of public freedoms, including freedom of expression, freedom of the press and freedom of worship are guaranteed in the Lebanese Constitution. Lebanon’s vibrant press and media outlets are the freest in the Middle East, with no censorship or government restrictions.

Asked how he foresees the future in Lebanon in view of the popular uprisings against Arab rulers, Sfeir told reporters at Beirut airport Sunday before leaving for the Vatican: “We thank God that what happened in other countries did not happen in Lebanon. This is a grace.”

Asked to comment on the downfall of the Egyptian and Tunisian presidents as a result of their peoples’ revolts against them, Sfeir said: “We regret what is happening in some Arab countries. But if the people rise up, this is the result.”

During its turbulent political history, Lebanon has witnessed thousands of anti-government protests demanding better living conditions, and even demonstrations against Arab governments.

No doubt, the Arab governments’ suppression of their peoples’ rights to enjoy public freedoms and protests over poverty, unemployment and the worsening economic conditions has eventually burst out into violent street protests against these governments.

President Michel Sleiman has advised Arab countries to adopt a democratic ruling system and grant their people freedom of expression if they want to avoid revolts similar to the Egyptian and Tunisian uprisings.

Asked about his assessment of the public protests that engulfed some Arab states in the wake of the Egyptian and Tunisian revolts, Sleiman told a group of Kuwaiti journalists on Feb. 11, a few hours before Mubarak stepped down: “The situation requires a profound reading by authorities and rulers. Authorities must adopt democracy, achieve social justice, ensure a rotation of power at all levels through parliamentary, municipal and mukhtar elections and secure the participation of various sections of the society in power.”

CAIRO—State TV says Egypt’s top prosecutor has requested the freezing of the assets of ousted president Hosni Mubarak and his family.

In addition to the TV announcement, aimed at freezing domestic holdings, the prosecutor requested the Foreign Minister to ask other nations to freeze any assets abroad, security officials say. The freeze applies to Mubarak, his wife, his two sons and two daughters-in-law, they say. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to talk to the press.

A day earlier, official media quoted it described as Mubarak’s legal representative as saying the former president had submitted to authorities a declaration of his wealth and that he had no assets abroad.

Egypt has asked its ambassador to the Vatican, Lamia Mekheimar, to resume work on 23 February, said Hossam Zaki, the  Egyptian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson.

Mekheimar was recalled for discussion in mid January, to protest Pope Benedict XVI statements calling for the protection of Egyptian Copts.

In a press statement, Zaki said that the Vatican's ambassador to Egypt had expressed the Vatican aspiration to turn over a new leaf with Egypt. He also said Egypt appreciates the many positive messages from several Vatican officials.

Pope Benedict XVI had called for the protection of Christians in Egypt and Iraq, and called on governments in the Middle East to protect their Christian minorities after two recent attacks that targeted Christians.

Twenty-three Copts were killed and scores injured  in an attack on the Church of St. Mark and St. Peter in Alexandria on New Year's Eve.

Egypt reinstates ambassador to Vatican after diplomatic spat

Cairo - Egypt said Sunday it was reinstating its ambassador to the Vatican, more than a month after she was recalled over 'unacceptable' comments made Pope Benedict XVI.

Ambassador Lamia Mekheimar will return to the Vatican on Wednesday in light of 'positive messages' recently sent to Egypt by Vatican officials, Egypt's foreign ministry said in a press statement.

Mekheimar was recalled in January after a speech by the pope to foreign diplomats in which he referred to the violence against Christians in Iraq and an attack on a church in Egypt's coastal city of Alexandria.

Benedict then called on governments in majority Muslim countries to increase efforts to protect their Christian populations.

The Egyptian foreign ministry said the statements were an 'unacceptable interference in its domestic affairs.'

Egyptian authorities have described the New Year's Eve attack on a church in Alexandria which left 23 people dead as an act of terrorism, and have rejected allegations that Coptic Christians are persecuted in Egypt.

Official figures estimate that Christians comprise between 10 and 15 per cent of Egypt's population.

Boston cardinal assessing abuse response in Dublin

BOSTON—Boston Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley is in Ireland conducting a Vatican-commissioned assessment of the Archdiocese of Dublin's response to sexual abuse.

The cardinal also is helping to preside over a service of repentance that was partly written by abuse victims.

O'Malley has been praised for how he has handled abuse scandals, apologizing, leading liturgical rituals, settling lawsuits and changing policies. He led three dioceses racked by scandal.

In 2006, he led a series of Novena services in nine Boston-area parishes with histories of abuse. And in 2008, O'Malley arranged a meeting between abuse survivors from Boston and Pope Benedict XVI when he presented the pope with a hand-lettered book listing the first names of 1,476 abuse victims.

Still, critics say the Boston Archdiocese has failed to publish a promised list of credibly accused priests.

Hollywood rolls out red carpet for God

Star-studded awards ceremony honors films that celebrate faith

By Drew Zahn

© 2011 WorldNetDaily

Kevin Sorbo, host of the 19th Movieguide Awards Gala and recipient of Grace Award for Most Inspiring Performance in Movies in 2010 for his role in "What If …"

LOS ANGELES – At this weekend's 19th Annual Movieguide Awards Gala, stars strolled the red carpet and statuettes were awarded, but one aspect in particular set this event apart from typical Hollywood extravaganzas: Rather than longwinded speeches thanking their agents, the award winners expressed their gratitude, sometimes in tears, to God.

The Movieguide Awards Gala is an event designed to honor those films and filmmakers that present positive and faith-affirming messages as well as to demonstrate to Hollywood the inspiring power – and even profitability – of putting well-told, redemptive tales on the silver screen.

Among this year's big winners were films like "Secretariat" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," as well as TV movies like "Christmas with a Capital C" and "Amish Grace."

Jeff Holder, former head of ABC's Saturday morning children's TV schedule and now managing editor of Movieguide, explained what makes the Movieguide Awards so unique:

"The Gala is about the [spiritually inspiring and exemplary] film clips and the speeches," Holder explained at an insider's breakfast the morning after the event. "Many of the recipients give glory to God.

"What I really like about Movieguide is that we honor producers, directors, many of them Christians, quietly working behind the scenes and movies that may not make the Academy Awards," he continued. "We're honoring them because they do such redemptive work."

Pat Boone and his wife, Shirley

Music and Hollywood icon Pat Boone stepped off the red carpet for just a moment to talk with WND about the significance and impact of the Movieguide awards over the years.

"I have been coming to these events for the past 15 years," Boone said. "Producers, directors, writers – they'll come here to get an award, and when they do, they see why they're getting an award and the kind of things that we're hungering for [in films]. Then they go back to their studios and they look for other projects that might merit an award for the same reason that they've gotten one, which is uplifting family, not denigrating the faith, not glamorizing degenerate behavior.

"And so it is a strong influence, and it's not just condemning the bad, it's awarding the good," Boone said. "So I think it's genius. I think it's God."

On stage to receive a "Teddy" award for directing the award-winning "What If," Dallas Jenkins told the audience of nearly 500 gathered for the event that the awards ceremony is evidence of his company's motto, that "it's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."

Backstage, he explained further to WND: "I think Christians in American have been known more for complaining about Hollywood than doing anything about it, and there's a Chinese proverb from thousands of years ago that says the obvious, that 'it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness,' so that's really been the motto of our company.

"And the reason I got into the business was I grew up thinking, 'Why are we so angry at Hollywood for doing what they want to do? Why can't we do something about it?'" he continued. "That's really the impetus for every movie we make."

Sharif Atkins of television's "ER"
Bailee Madison, Tanner Maguire of "Letters to God"
Eric Martslof, Nadia Bjorlin of "Days of Our Lives"

One of the films nominated for awards this year was "To Save a Life," a story about teenage suicide that has literally been saving lives.

WND asked the film's star, Randy Wayne, what it's like to be part of a Hollywood project having such a positive impact.

"It's something that's hard to put into words, but it's very powerful, and I get e-mails from fans all the time thanking me for doing a movie like 'To Save a Life,'" Wayne said. "When I signed up for the movie, I didn't think that would actually happen."

Wayne also shared the stories of two e-mails he received from fans: "One was an atheist. He said that he loved the film, he loved the message, and he didn't feel it was too preachy and he appreciates everything we did in it. Another one was from a kid who said he was 'gay' and he wasn't a Christian and he watched the movie and he feels like it saved his life. Even though he didn't think he was the target audience, he felt like it did target him, and he's going to church now."

Stars of "To Save a Life": Deja Kreutzberg, Randy Wayne and Kim Hidalgo

In addition to honoring the films and filmmakers, the Movieguide Gala includes an annual report to the movie industry that includes the hard facts on comparative box office receipts between films with positive messages and/or values and those that disregard or denigrate those values.

Dr. Ted Baehr, founder of Movieguide and chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission, presents the report, which clearly shows filmmakers who take into account America's nearly 160 million churchgoers find more success.

Dr. Ted Baehr

"What we're giving you," Baehr told the audience of filmmakers and executives, "is data to help you understand your audience."

For example, according to Movieguide's analysis, among 2010's top films (those making more than $750,000 in ticket sales in the U.S. and Canada), those that contained no obscenities or profanities averaged $50.44 million at the box office, while those with more than 25 instances of foul language averaged only $23.42 million, less than half their cleaner counterparts.

Comparing films' sexual content, the numbers are even more stark: Movies with no sex averaged $55.44 million at the box office, while even light or implied sex dropped the numbers to $35.72 million, and the average take for films with extreme sexual content plummeted all the way to $15.92 million.

"This was especially clear in 2010," said Baehr in s a statement. "Movies with no foul language, sex, nudity or drug abuse averaged the most money at the theatrical box office in America and Canada, much more than movies with a lot of such offensive content."

Movieguide also measured other forms of immorality, including lying, stealing, blackmail, extortion, greed, envy, jealousy and so forth, discovering that movies without these elements made more than four times more money than movies with extensive or extreme amounts.

Demetria McKinney of "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do"

"We have found similar results in practically all of our previous studies," Dr. Baehr noted.

Movieguide's system of evaluating movies based on their themes, values and worldviews is so statistically backed, in fact, that Baehr has been able to predict the commercial success of films that other Hollywood analysts have missed, including box office "surprises" like 2009's "The Blind Side" or this past year's "Despicable Me" and "True Grit."

The message seems to be having an impact on Hollywood's output.

Baehr reports that in 1985 only 1 percent of films made by Hollywood contained "positive, redemptive content," according to Movieguide's grading scale.

But then Movieguide was launched and the awards began. The annual report to the industry began to open Hollywood executives' eyes to the box office reality that faith- and family-friendly films score bigger than their seedier competitors.

Movieguide, more than just a film review ministry, also began a grassroots effort of training and encouraging film students, scriptwriters and moviemakers. It began explaining to Hollywood the merits and box office value of films that follow what Baehr calls the three keys to making great movies:

  1. Great stories, well told

  2. Have a positive worldview

  3. Are spiritually inspiring, featuring tales of virtue and redemption

No doubt the commercial success of movies like "The Passion of the Christ," film franchises like the "Toy Story" and "Chronicles of Narnia" films, as well as unexpected hits like "The Blind Side" have also caught the attention of Hollywood's powerful people.

Now, Movieguide reported at this weekend's gala, that the number of "positive, redemptive" films has grown to 60 percent of Hollywood's output. Baehr said when he saw that number hit 50 percent in recent years, that was as far as he thought it could go. To see 60 percent?

"This is a gift of God," he said.

The silver screen and TV movies nominated this year include the following, with the winning films highlighted in bold.

"I'm from Holland, where this movie would never even have been made, let alone win a prize," Schleppi said. "You should be proud of your country."

Empty coffin bobs up after Brisbane floods

OF all the pieces of debris to resurface in the wake of Brisbane's devastating floods, it must be one of the most macabre.

coffin

RESURFACED: The coffin was for use as a Halloween party prop.
Source: The Courier-Mail

A coffin has popped up, but it wasn't washed away from a local cemetery, and luckily it was empty.

It was one of two Halloween props a resident had resting on his deck.

On January 13, the Brisbane resident contacted the Brisbane City Council after floodwaters carried away two burgundy coffins.

He feared the coffins, used for a Halloween party, had ended up in the river system and alerted the council in case onlookers spying the props were alarmed to see two coffins, one complete with a mannequin, floating down the river.

The council yesterday posted an update on its Facebook page, complete with a picture, stating that the missing coffin had washed up intact in the Jamboree Ward.

There was no news on the fate of the mannequin.

Benny Hinn Sued by Publisher Over Alleged Relationship with Paula White

Strang Communications is suing Hinn for $250,000 for breaking a morality clause in his book deal

By Elena Garcia|Christian Post Reporter

Charismatic televangelist Benny Hinn, who denied romantic involvement with Paula White after a tabloid article last year, is being sued for $250,000 by his book publisher for violating a morality clause in their contract.

Hinn broke the terms of the agreement with Strang Communications Co. when he engaged in an "inappropriate relationship" with White, the Lake Mary-based publisher alleges in a suit filed Tuesday.

Strang paid Hinn a $300,000 advance for his first book, Blood in the Sand, three years ago. Hinn was supposed to write three books for the publisher, according to the suit.

Filed under "Contract/Indebtedness," the complaint claims that Hinn admitted "his inappropriate relationship" with White in August and that he failed to pay Strang despite agreeing to do so.

A Strang attorney also alleges in a letter attached to the suit that Hinn also didn't keep a contract term requiring him to help market the book. The letter said he was a no-show at media appearances, including on Christian Broadcasting Network's "The 700 Club."

The case number for Strang Communications Co. v. Benny Hinn is 2011CA000575.

Last summer, The National Enquirer published photos showing the television preachers going in and out of a hotel in Rome, holding hands.

Following the article's publication, both Christian preachers issued statements denying any wrongdoing.

Hinn strongly rejected the article's claim that he had an affair with White, saying in a statement on his website that there was only a "friendship" and "no immorality" that existed between the two. He also derided claims that he and White secretly stayed together at a hotel as "absolutely false."

The televangelist said the twice-divorced White had been an “encouragement” to him and “shared helpful advice” after his wife, Suzanne, filed for divorce last January.

"I will not deny that the friendship has strengthened, and, while it has remained morally pure at all times, I have enjoyed the company of someone who has also gone through the trauma of a painful and public divorce," he stated.

“I forcefully, categorically, and absolutely renounce the lies that have been spread about me and want to set the record straight with you. There is nothing inappropriate or morally improper about my friendship with Paula White. There has been no immorality whatsoever!"

In her own statement, White, who has known Hinn for over 20 years, called the assertions by the tabloid "categorically false."

"We were never alone and were in the constant company of staff and other associates," she asserted. "My relationship with Pastor Benny is genuine and pure and should not be taken out of context."

White, pastor of Without Walls International Church in Florida, also emphasized that she would hold accountable those who "thwart" her calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.

Both had agreed to "have no further social relationship" until his divorce is finalized.

Hinn is legally divorced from Suzanne, according to the marital status listed on their divorce case in the Orange County Superior Court of California.

Hinn and White were among six televangelists whose spending and nonprofit status were investigated by Sen. Charles Grassley beginning in 2007.

Last month, Grassley concluded his three-year probe and reported that Joyce Meyer Ministries and Benny Hinn's World Healing Center Church were the only two ministries that fully cooperated with the investigation and even implemented financial reforms.
