Brzezinski’s Feared “Global Awakening” Has Arrived

Zbigniew Brzezinski’s much feared “global political awakening” is in full swing. Revolts in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia and other countries represent a truly monumental worldwide rallying cry for freedom that threatens to immeasurably damage the agenda for one world government, but only if the successful revolutionaries can prevent themselves from being co-opted by a paranoid and desperate global elite.

During a Council on Foreign Relations speech in Montreal last year, co-founder with David Rockefeller of the Trilateral Commission and regular Bilderberg attendee Zbigniew Brzezinski warned of a “global political awakening,” mainly comprising of younger people in developing states, that threatened to topple the existing international order.

Reading the full extent of Brzezinski’s words in light of the global revolts that we now see spreading like wildfire across the planet provides an astounding insight into how crucially important the outcome of this phase of modern history will be to the future geopolitical course of the world, and in turn the survival and growth of human freedom in general.

For the first time in human history almost all of humanity is politically activated, politically conscious and politically interactive… The resulting global political activism is generating a surge in the quest for personal dignity, cultural respect and economic opportunity in a world painfully scarred by memories of centuries-long alien colonial or imperial domination… The worldwide yearning for human dignity is the central challenge inherent in the phenomenon of global political awakening… That awakening is socially massive and politically radicalizing… The nearly universal access to radio, television and increasingly the Internet is creating a community of shared perceptions and envy that can be galvanized and channeled by demagogic political or religious passions. These energies transcend sovereign borders and pose a challenge both to existing states as well as to the existing global hierarchy, on top of which America still perches…

The youth of the Third World are particularly restless and resentful. The demographic revolution they embody is thus a political time-bomb, as well… Their potential revolutionary spearhead is likely to emerge from among the scores of millions of students concentrated in the often intellectually dubious “tertiary level” educational institutions of developing countries. Depending on the definition of the tertiary educational level, there are currently worldwide between 80 and 130 million “college” students. Typically originating from the socially insecure lower middle class and inflamed by a sense of social outrage, these millions of students are revolutionaries-in-waiting, already semi-mobilized in large congregations, connected by the Internet and pre-positioned for a replay on a larger scale of what transpired years earlier in Mexico City or in Tiananmen Square. Their physical energy and emotional frustration is just waiting to be triggered by a cause, or a faith, or a hatred…

[The] major world powers, new and old, also face a novel reality: while the lethality of their military might is greater than ever, their capacity to impose control over the politically awakened masses of the world is at a historic low. To put it bluntly: in earlier times, it was easier to control one million people than to physically kill one million people; today, it is infinitely easier to kill one million people than to control one million people.

Zbigniew Brzezinski

It is important to stress that Brzezinski was not lauding the onset of this “global political awakening,” he was decrying it. As one of the of the chief architects of the “existing global hierarchy” to which he makes reference, Brzezinski himself is under direct threat, as is the continuing ability of the global elite in general to control world affairs.

Brzezinski laments the fact that the Internet has made it almost impossible for the global elite to control the political environment, to control the thoughts and behavior of one million people, which is precisely why Egypt moved to shut down the world wide web yesterday in a desperate bid to prevent activists from organizing against the state.

As is routine whenever riots and revolutions suddenly appear as if out of nowhere, history warns us to not take what we see at face value, and to recall the numerous contrived “color revolutions” that have served little purpose other than to allow the IMF/World Bank global elite to overthrow a rogue power and seize the country via the backdoor through puppet regimes it subsequently installs.

However, the domino-like effect of the global revolution that has accelerated in recent weeks seems to be born out of a genuine, grass roots, organic yearning for real freedom, and an end to dictatorial regimes that the United States and the banking elite have helped to prop up.

The global revolt spreading across the Middle East and North Africa, having already touched Europe with the riots and strikes in Italy, France, Greece and the United Kingdom last year, is characterized as a backlash against dictatorship, police brutality, and political repression. These factors have been seething undercurrents of resentment for years, but only thanks to greater education and easier access to information and the ability to organize through the Internet has a new generation of activists finally said enough is enough. Spiraling food prices, fuel inflation, lower wages and high unemployment have also played a central role.

As Andrew Gavin Marshall writes in his excellent article, Are We Witnessing the Start of a Global Revolution?, “We must not cast aside these protests and uprisings as being instigated by the West, but rather that they emerged organically, and the West is subsequently attempting to co-opt and control the emerging movements.”

In the case of Egypt, Yemen and Tunisia, all three regimes have enjoyed the multi-decade support of the US military-industrial complex. All three were fully compliant vassal states for the new world order. There was no need for contrived or staged “color revolutions” to be prompted by the global elite in these countries.

Indeed, the die was cast when the Obama administration expressed its support for 30 year dictator Hosni Mubarak in the form of a PBS interview yesterday when Vice-President Joe Biden implied that the protesters demands were illegitimate.

“The reflex action of the imperial powers is to further arm and support the oppressive regimes, as well as the potential to organize a destabilization through covert operations or open warfare (as is being done in Yemen),” writes Marshall. “The alternative is to undertake a strategy of “democratization” in which Western NGOs, aid agencies and civil society organizations establish strong contacts and relationships with the domestic civil society in these regions and nations. The objective of this strategy is to organize, fund and help direct the domestic civil society to produce a democratic system made in the image of the West, and thus maintain continuity in the international hierarchy. Essentially, the project of “democratization” implies creating the outward visible constructs of a democratic state (multi-party elections, active civil society, “independent” media, etc) and yet maintain continuity in subservience to the World Bank, IMF, multinational corporations and Western powers.”

Remember – any country that retains its own sovereignty, acts primarily in its own interests and attempts to build itself up as a strong, prosperous, and culturally strong state is an enemy to the globalists. The international hierarchy demands compliance, dependence, weakness and a dilution of heritage and culture in order for every nation to be enveloped within the sphere of global government control.

Make no mistake about it, we are seeing a global revolution, the age of rage is falling upon us like dominoes reaching to every corner of the planet. Whether or not the outcome will topple the current global hierarchy, as Zbigniew Brzezinski fears, remains to be seen, but it will surely depend upon who controls the new governments that will replace the ousted rulers – the people who started the process of change, or the World Bank, IMF, NGO’s and the rest of the global elite who are desperate to save their world government agenda from being derailed.

Egypt’s Internet Kill Switch: Coming To America

In response to widespread protests and mass unrest, the authoritarian Egyptian government has completely shut down the country’s access to the internet, eliminating the use of social networking websites, other effective tools of communication and organisation, and effectively sealing Egypt off from the rest of the world.

Internet intelligence authority Renesys has confirmed that “virtually all of Egypt’s Internet addresses are now unreachable, worldwide.”

“At 22:34 UTC (00:34am local time), Renesys observed the virtually simultaneous withdrawal of all routes to Egyptian networks in the Internet’s global routing table. Approximately 3,500 individual BGP routes were withdrawn, leaving no valid paths by which the rest of the world could continue to exchange Internet traffic with Egypt’s service providers.” Renesys’ analysis states.

Egypts Internet Kill Switch: Coming To America 280111Egypt

Vodafone said in an emailed statement: “All mobile operators in Egypt have been instructed to suspend services in selected areas. Under Egyptian legislation, the authorities have the right to issue such an order and we are obliged to comply.”

Prior to the complete shut down, tweets and live mobile phone feeds from the Egyptian protests in Suez and Cairo were providing up to the minute coverage. Links to photos on Twitpic, videos on YouTube and postings on Facebook were aiding protesters organize their movements.

As The Electronic Freedom Foundation notes, “When protestors in Cario’s Tahir Square experienced an outage in cell phone data service, nearby residents reportedly opened their home Wi-Fii networks to allow protesters to get online.”

The Egyptian authorities could not stand for this. Following the revelation of Associated Press footage showing a protester being shot dead in the street, one of at least eight victims who have been killed since the uprising began, an apparent Internet kill switch was thrown.

The action is unprecedented in Internet history. It is clearly the action of a desperate tyrannical government on its last legs.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s government is also reportedly arresting bloggers, attacking journalists, and rounding up anyone else the regime sees as dissidents.

Still, the Obama administration, which currently funnels $1.3 billion in military aid to the Egyptian government per year, refuses to condemn the Mubarak regime, and further more, is looking to embrace the exact same internet control mechanism in America.

Indeed, when Senator Joe Lieberman attempted to justify draconian legislation that would provide President Obama with a figurative kill switch to shut down parts of the Internet indefinitely, he cited the Communist Chinese system of Internet policing as model which America should move towards.

“Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too,” Lieberman told CNN’s Candy Crowley last June.

Of course, the Chinese government routinely shuts down the already heavily filtered internet at any politically sensitive time, not only “in case of war” as Lieberman claims. Furthermore, Twitter, Facebook and Youtube are all permanently banned.

News websites in China now require users to register their true identities in order to leave comments, so that any dissident can be tracked and appropriately dealt with. A truly frightening Orwellian reality you may think, yet this exact move towards abolishing Internet anonymity and creating a virtual ID card is a key centerpiece of the US government’s cybersecurity agenda.

The ‘Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act’ (PCNAA), which now includes a removal of all judicial oversight, is still circulating and will be voted on later this year. Lieberman has stated that the legislation should be made a top priority.

The recent actions of the Egyptian government in the face of widespread public backlash, and the ongoing stifling of the free flow of information in China should provide a stark warning to Americans that such Internet control mechanisms are the tools of oppressive authoritarian governments and have no place in a free society.

Military to unveil homosexual indoctrination plan

Military to unveil homosexual indoctrination plan
Lolita C. Baldor and Pauline Jelinek - Associated Press Writers

Associated Press logo smallWASHINGTON - Officials say Pentagon leaders will roll out a plan Friday that is expected to give the military services about three months to train their forces on the new law allowing "gays" to serve openly.

The plan, they said, will outline the personnel, recruiting and other regulations that must be changed. It will describe three levels of training for the troops, their commanders and the key administrators, recruiters and other leaders who will have to help implement the changes.

Under that training schedule, full implementation of the law could begin later this summer. Once the training is complete, the president and his top military advisers must certify that lifting the ban won't hurt troops' ability to fight. Sixty days after certification, the law would take effect.

Word of the plan comes a day after President Barack Obama told the nation in his State of the Union address that the change was in sight.

Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said senior defense and military leaders will provide an update Friday on how the Pentagon is proceeding on the implementation of the new law, which ended the Pentagon's 17-year-old "don't ask, don't tell" policy and will allow gays to serve openly for the first time in history.

Morrell declined to say more, but officials familiar with the plan described it on condition of anonymity because it has not been finalized or made public.

Details have been scarce as the military has scrambled to pull together the dozens of legal and policy changes that must be made by all the services in order to put the new law into effect.

The changes affect how troops are recruited, trained and discharged, as well as how same sex partners will be treated in terms of various health and other benefits.

Some will be easy to implement. For example, recruits will no longer be turned down because they are gay.

But others involving benefits, housing and the execution of the training program will be more complex.

According to officials, the training will be broken into three categories. One will be for administrators and other leaders who will have to be able to answer detailed questions about the new policy. The second will be for senior commanders who will have to enforce the policies and also be on the lookout for signs of unease or problems among service members.

The third group will be the general training for the troops. That is the one that is expected to be the most difficult to complete because service members are scattered around the world, and many are in various phases of deployment to war or heading home.

In his State of the Union speech Tuesday night, Obama declared that, "Starting this year, no American will be forbidden from serving the country they love because of who they love." He added, "It is time to leave behind the divisive battles of the past. It is time to move forward as one nation."

Although Obama did not describe any specific time frame, Pentagon leaders have repeatedly said they will move quickly but carefully to implement the law.

Advocates for gays have called for quick action.

"For years, experts have said that a swift repeal process, accompanied by strong leadership, is the best way to repeal `don't ask, don't tell.'," Aaron Belkin of the Palm Center, a California think tank, said Wednesday. "In promising ... to implement the repeal of the ban this year, President Obama has demonstrated leadership and committed to the path that has been proven to be best not only for gay service members, but for all of those who currently serve."

The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, however, wants officials to hurry along certification that the change won't hurt military effectiveness.

"We think there should be certification from the president, (Defense) Secretary Robert Gates and (Joint Chiefs of Staff) Chairman Michael Mullen in this quarter," the group said in a statement Wednesday. "We need to make `Don't Ask' repeal a reality sooner rather than later."

Lucas County, Ohio, Sheriff’s Sergeant Sentenced for Civil Rights Violations and Falsifying Written Reports

WASHINGTON—The Justice Department announced today that former Lucas County Sheriff’s Sergeant John E. Gray was sentenced today by Judge David A. Katz to three years in prison, followed by two years’ supervised release, for federal civil rights violations and records falsification relating to the in-custody death of a pretrial detainee at the Lucas County Jail.

Additionally, former Lucas County Deputy Jay M. Schmeltz was sentenced to one year and one day in prison followed by two years of supervised release and a $6,000 fine for writing a false report about the incident.

Gray and Schmeltz were found guilty by a jury on Dec. 3, 2010, after a month-long trial in Toledo, Ohio. Lucas County Sheriff James A. Telb and Internal Affairs Investigator Robert E. McBroom were acquitted on charges relating to an alleged subsequent cover-up of the role that jail personnel played in the 2004 death of Carlton Benton. Evidence at trial showed that on May 30, 2004, Gray assaulted Mr. Benton in a cell at the Lucas County Jail and left Benton lying unconscious without seeking medical help for him. Thereafter, according to trial evidence, Gray and Schmeltz wrote false reports concealing the incidents.

“Law enforcement officers are granted a great deal of power so that they can protect and serve their communities, and those who abuse their power will face consequences,” said Thomas E. Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division. “The department will aggressively prosecute all cases of police misconduct.”

“This sentence sends a strong message that we will protect the integrity of our criminal justice system and the rights of all,” said Steven M. Dettelbach, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio.

on Child Pornography Conviction

Defendant Taken Into Custody At Sentencing Hearing

DALLAS—Robert Royce Jensen, Jr., 62, of Sunnyvale, Texas, who pleaded guilty in March 2010 to one count of receipt of child pornography, was sentenced yesterday afternoon by U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle to 170 months in federal prison, announced U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks of the Northern District of Texas. Judge Boyle remanded Jensen, who had been on bond, to the custody of the U.S. Marshal.

According to plea documents filed, Jensen admitted using the Limewire peer-to-peer software to download child pornography from the Internet. All Men Will Hate You Because Of Me

All Men Will Hate You Because Of Me
“All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:22)
I’m sure you’ve heard pastors quote this passage numerous times. I know I certainly have. In fact, I’ve heard a couple of Christians suggest that if you don’t have enemies, then you’re doing something wrong. But what does Jesus mean when He says the world will hate us Christians because of Him?

The answer you are most likely to hear is it’s because the message of the Gospel goes against the pluralistic message of the world. The world says, “All paths lead to the same destination,” but the Bible says, “there is no other name under heaven [other than Jesus] given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) The world also says, “Do whatever you want as long as you don’t hurt anybody,” but the Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) Certainly that’s why Jesus said the world will hate us, right?

Well, I think that’s part of the reason, but not the whole reason.

If we look at Matthew chapter 10 in its entirety, we see that Jesus gives the twelve disciples that warning before sending them out to spread the message of the Kingdom of God throughout Israel. And while that message does include repentance and the forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:46-47), there’s also a social/political nature to the Gospel, which is:

1). Jesus is Lord, not Casar (or any other worldly emperor)
2). “Seek justice. Defend the oppressed.” (Isaiah 1:17)
3). The meek will inherit the earth, and the peacemakers will be called children of God (Matthew 5:5,9)
4). People “will beat their swords into plowshares . . . and will not train for war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)

Now if that’s not a threatening message for the powers of this world, I don’t know what is!

MUST WATCH VIDEO: More “Religion of Peace” “Peacefulness”

Amplify’d from www.debbieschlussel.com

Anyone who knows about Islam knows that stoning is in the Koran, and that it is Islamic law. There are people who call it inhuman – but in doing so they insult the Prophet. They want to bring foreign thinking to this country.

We’ve seen a ton of these videos before.  But it never hurts to see it again, especially since this is from just recently.  Remember this whenever you’ll told about how Islam is “the religion of peace” or how we must be “tolerant” and “co-exist.” Tolerant of this? Co-exist with this?

Horrific video footage has emerged of Taliban insurgents stoning a couple to death for alleged adultery in northern Afghanistan.

Hundreds of villagers can be seen on the video standing around as the woman, Siddqa, is buried up to her waist in a four foot hole in the ground.

Two mullahs pass sentence before the crowd begins to throw rocks at her head and body as she desperately tries to crawl free.

But the 19-year-old collapses to the ground, covered in blood – but miraculously still alive.

At this point a Taliban fighter shoots her three times in the head with an AK-47The crowd can be heard shouting allahu akbar as she is killed.

Her lover, Khayyam, is then marched in front of the crowd with his hands tied behind his back.

He is blindfolded with his own tunic and crouches down close to the ground as he tried to protect his body from the stones.

But he is battered to the floor by a barrage of rocks. He can be heard sobbing before eventually falling silent.

The stoning – the first to be documented on film since the Taliban were ousted from power – took place in the district of Dashte Archi, in Kunduz, last August.

Officials said that Siddqa had run away after being sold into an arranged marriage for $9,000 against her will.

See, this is what I mean when I say that we can’t call Islam v. the West a clash of civilizations, as only the latter is actually a civilization.

Religion of Peace . . . and Pieces . . . and Lotsa Blood — allahu FUBAR.

Anglican bishops ordained as Catholic priests in London

Anglican bishops ordained as Catholic priests in London
Three former Church of England bishops were ordained as Roman Catholic priests on Saturday.

Three former Church of England bishops who are opposed to the consecration of women bishops were ordained as Roman Catholic priests on Saturday, the first traditionalist Anglicans to take up an offer by Pope Benedict.

The three bishops were ordained at Westminster Cathedral in central London during a ceremony carried out by the head of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales, the Archbishop of Westminster, Vincent Nichols.

They became the founding members of the world's first ordinariate, a Church subdivision proposed by the pope in 2009 to let traditionalists convert while keeping some Anglican traditions.

About 50 priests and 30 groups of parishioners from the Anglican mother church, the Church of England, are expected to follow in the first wave and enter full communion with Rome.

Defections by traditionalists were triggered by the Church of England's decision last year to consecrate women bishops.

"This is a unique moment and the Catholic community in England and Wales is privileged to be playing its part in this historic development in the life of the Universal Church," Nichols said in a statement ahead of the ordination.

In a homily during the ordination, the three were told they had an "important and demanding future."

Other groups of Anglicans in Australia and North America have expressed interest in the pope's offer, and other ordinariates are expected to be established in other parts of the world.

The pope's offer caused tension between Rome and the Church of England, where many felt the announcement was handled badly and sidelined their spiritual head, the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams.

Differences appeared to be smoothed over however during the first state papal visit to England and Wales last September when he was received warmly by Williams.

The Catholic Church has set up a fund of 250,000 pounds to help support the new ordinariate, which will be called the Personal Ordinariate of our Lady of Walsingham. Their patron will be the 19th century English convert John Henry Newman, whose beatification was proclaimed by the pope during his trip.

Those moving over to Rome are likely to have to share church buildings with their local diocesan Catholic church.

The three bishops, John Broadhurst, Andrew Burnham and Keith Newton, had to be ordained as Catholic priests because the Vatican does not recognise Anglican ordinations. Two retired bishops are set to follow.

The three will oversee the spiritual preparation of like-minded Anglican priests and lay people for their reception into the church in the spring.

"I do not see my reception into the Catholic Church as a radical break but part of the on-going pilgrimage of faith which began at my baptism," Newton, who will head up the ordinariate," said in a statement.

Married Anglican priests will be accepted but married bishops cannot retain their higher status.

'Happy New Year' Text Message Accidentally Detonates Suicide Bomber

Amplify’d from gawker.com

'Happy New Year' Text Message Accidentally Detonates Suicide BomberGetting text messages from your service provider is incredibly annoying. Especially if you are a suicide bomber, and your bomb is triggered by incoming texts. As one Russian woman learned the hard way.

You know how kids are always "sexting" each other these days? Well, so are Russian Muslim extremists! Except, instead of "sexts," "suicide bombs detonated via SMS." See, a lot of suicide bombers—in Russia and elsewhere—trigger their bombs via text messages to cell phones wired to the explosives. The thing is, though, you have to keep your phone off until the right moment. Because if you get an errant text ("wat r u doin"), you will blow up.

According to The Telegraph, Russian authorities believe a would-be suicide bomber did not follow this advice so well:

The unnamed woman, who is thought to be part of the same group that struck Moscow's Domodedovo airport on Monday, intended to detonate a suicide belt on a busy square near Red Square on New Year's Eve in an attack that could have killed hundreds.

Security sources believe a spam message from her mobile phone operator wishing her a happy new year received just hours before the planned attack triggered her suicide belt, killing her but nobody else.

So: Turns out unwanted texts from your mobile provider can actually save lives. And yet, they're still not worth it.

Russia: Cyber attack on Iran could be risky

By SLOBODAN LEKIC, Associated Press Slobodan Lekic, Associated Press

BRUSSELS – A recent cyber attack on Iran's nuclear program could have triggered a disaster comparable to the one in Chernobyl 25 years ago, Russia's envoy to NATO said Wednesday.

Dmitry Rogozin urged NATO to join Moscow in investigating who created and unleashed the mysterious and destructive computer worm known as Stuxnet. The virus hit Iran's nuclear facilities last year, temporarily crippling its uranium enrichment program, which can make both nuclear fuel and the fissile core of warheads.

Iran is under four sets of U.N. Security Council sanctions for refusing to freeze the activity, which it says it needs to create fuel for a future nuclear power network.

Rogozin told journalists at NATO headquarters that the virus could have caused the control system of Iran's Bushehr nuclear reactor to malfunction, leading to the release of poisonous radioactive dust into the atmosphere, as happened in Chernobyl.

"The virus which is very toxic, very dangerous, could have had very serious implications," Rogozin said. It "could have lead up to a new Chernobyl."

Chernobyl's reactor No. 4 exploded in 1986, spewing radiation over a large swath of northern Europe. Hundreds of thousands of people were resettled from areas contaminated with radiation fallout in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Related health problems still persist.

"This is a security-related issue," Rogozin said. "We insist that we have an investigation with the NATO-Russia Council."

The council, which meets each month, groups the alliance's 28 states and Russia to discuss security issues and to coordinate responses.

Rogozin, who attended the panel's meeting on Wednesday along with Russia's military chief, Gen. Nikolai Makarov, said greater cooperation is needed between NATO and Russia in cyber defense. The former Cold War rivals already are cooperating closely in other fields such as missile defense, the war in Afghanistan, counter-narcotics, the battle against terrorism and maritime piracy.

The Bushehr power nuclear plant was completed with Russian help after years of delays.

U.S. government experts and outside analysts say they have not been able to determine who developed the malware, short for malicious software, or why.
