Huge Numbers Of Dead Animals, Dead Birds And Dead Fish – What In The World Is Happening Out There?

Just what in the world is going on out there? Large groups of animals are keeling over dead, thousands of birds are falling out of the sky dead and millions of dead fish are washing ashore all over the globe.  Something is happening.  Do any of you know what is causing all this, because I sure don’t.  This all seemed to start around the end of December when mass bird deaths and mass fish deaths began to be reported all around the world.  Normally “weird” news stories like this kind of fade away after a time, but reports of bird deaths and fish deaths continue to come in and now there are even reports of large groups of land animals suddenly dropping dead.  As these reports from all over the globe continue to pile up, it doesn’t take a “conspiracy theorist” to figure out that something very much out of the ordinary is going on.  Unfortunately, at this point we have a whole lot more questions than we do answers.

A couple good summaries of the mass bird and fish deaths that we witnessed during the first few weeks of this crisis can be found here and here.  Unfortunately, large groups of animals, birds and fish continue to keep dying.  The following is just a handful of the reports that have poured in from all over the globe during the past week or so….

It was easy enough to brush off one or two “mass death” news stories, but when they start coming in day after day after day it really starts to get your attention.

So does anyone know why all of this is happening all of a sudden?

Well, there certainly are a lot of theories being floated around out there.  When things like this start happening people start coming up with all sorts of really wild ideas.  Posted below is a list of some of the most common theories about these mass death.  Some of the theories seem to have some substance to them, while others seem just downright bizarre.

Theories That Have Been Put Forward To Explain The Huge Numbers Of Dead Animals, Dead Birds And Dead Fish Around The Globe

*Changes In The Magnetic Field Of The Earth

*Extreme Weather

*A Pole Shift

*Pesticides

*HAARP

*Other Secret Government Programs

*Cold Weather

*”Global Warming”

*The Approach Of 2012

*Methane Gas

*Loud Noises

*Disease

*UFOs Are Responsible

*Effects Of The BP Oil Spill

*The Second Coming Of Jesus

*Birds Are Dying Because Of Indigestion

*Increased Radiation From The Sun

*Large Groups Of Animals Always Die And This Is All Normal

Now, it must be noted that a couple of the recent “mass death episodes” can actually be explained.  For example, the U.S. government has admitted being responsible for the deaths of several hundred birds in South Dakota.

But what about the dozens of other “mass death” reports that have been pouring in from all around the earth?  How do we explain all of those?

That is something to think about.

Hopefully all this will end up being nothing.

Hopefully it will turn out that all of this can be easily explained.

We certainly don’t need any more problems right now.

As I wrote about the other day, the entire world financial system is on the verge of collapse.  At this point any kind of major event could be the “tipping point” that pushes the global economy into chaos.

The world as we know it can literally change overnight.  Today a reader emailed me the following video.  It is entitled “The Day After The Dollar Crashes”, and it takes the viewer through what a potential unraveling of the global financial system might look like.  As you watch this, keep in mind that any type of “big event” could set off a panic like this….

Michio Kaku Warns The World Citizens Of Potential Mega Earthquake

Sic enim dilexit Deus mundum, ut Filium suum unigenitum daret, ut omnis, qui credit in eum, non pereat, sed habeat vitam aeternam. (John 3:16)

Coup Media reports physicist and author of "Physics of the Future" Michio Kaku, warned world citizens about the pending threat of enormous earthquakes.

Kaku said: "In our life time, we could very well see one of these cities destroyed, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico City, Tehran, Tokyo".

That is precisely what the Bible predicts.

"And there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great", see Revelation 16:18.

Kaku said: "We are creating mega cities where there used to be fishing villages".

About the many disasters this year, Kaku said: "Well, look at the Chilean earthquake. You realize it was so big it actually rocked the planet earth. The axis of the earth shifted 3 inches as a result of that 8.8 earthquake. The day is no longer 24 hours, it's been shortened by one micro-second, That's how big that earthquake was".

What would it mean to economy and politics to lose a mega-city like Los Angeles, Tehran, or Tokyo?

Humankind will of course survive the earthquakes, but it will be tragic with a smaller number of humans left standing.

When the poles shift places during 1260 days it will be very painful, but probably not as painful as when they rapidly change their positions back again.

The safest place on the planet is Israel, and that is why God repeatedly exhorts His people, the Jews, in different ways to not give up their land.

It is of course also very smart of God to make all the nations in those days march against Israel.

Because the regions in close vicinity to Israel will be less affected than regions far away which will be destroyed.

Thus more people will be saved thanks to the Jews.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves", see Matthew 7:15.

"Et civitates gentium ceciderunt", Revelation 16:19.

Beijing Reports Mass Bird Deaths

Nonne duo passeres asse veneunt? Et unus ex illis non cadet super terram sine Patre vestro. (Matthew 10:29)

The Voice Of Russia reports a massive wild bird kill is reported from a Beijing suburb.

Dozens of dead blackbirds, mallards and magpies have been found along the banks of the Xiaojing River, according to the Huang’jiu Ribao newspaper.

A staff member of a center for hygiene and epidemiological control does not rule out that the birds have died of starvation and unfavorable weather conditions.

Mass bird deaths for no obvious reason has been registered in Sweden, the United States, Italy, and Canada since early this year.

Hundreds of thousands of fish have been found dead in different locations.

In some parts of Western Europe fireflies are disappearing.

Germany has reported that nocturnal birds do not chirp anymore.

I also read 55 buffalo died mysteriously on a farm.

Mother nature seems to be going bananas.

U.S. government commits avian holocaust with mass poisoning of millions of birds

Editor of NaturalNews.com (See all articles...)
government
(NaturalNews) The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is engaged in what can only be called an avian holocaust through its Bye Bye Blackbird program that has poisoned tens of millions of birds over the last decade. The USDA even reports the number of birds it has poisoned to death in a PDF document posted on the USDA website.

Anticipating the USDA possibly removing that document, we have posted a copy on NaturalNews servers at:
http://www.naturalnews.com/files/US...

The original source URL of this file was:
http://www.aphis.usda.gov/wildlife_...

This document shows that, just in 2009, the following bird populations were poisoned and killed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, using taxpayer dollars:

(Listed as "Intentional" and "Killed / Euthanized")

Brown-headed cowbirds: 1,046,109
European Starlings: 1,259,714
Red-winged blackbirds: 965,889
Canadian geese: 24,519
Grackles: 93,210
Pigeons: 96,297

...plus tens of thousands of crows, doves, ducks, falcons, finches, gulls, hawks, herons, owls, ravens, sparrows, swallows, swans, turkeys, vultures and woodpeckers, among other animals.

The chart even shows that the USDA "unintentionally" euthanized one Bald Eagle.

Also murdered in 2009 by the USDA are victims of other species:

27,000 beavers, 1700 bobcats, 81,000 coyotes, 2,000 gray foxes, 336 mountain lions, 1900 woodchucks, 130 porcupines, 12,000 raccoons, 20,000 squirrels, 30,000 wild pigs, 478 wolves.

See the list yourself at: http://www.naturalnews.com/files/US...

The mass-murdering U.S. government that disavows violence?

Keep in mind that murdering animals is an act of violence. Yet in the wake of the recent Giffords shooting, we have U.S. government officials running around screaming about how much they disavow violence, saying things like "violence should never be used to resolve problems."

But their actions say something different: Violence against non-human life forms is not only tolerated and approved by the federal government, but even encouraged. Through these mass killings of birds, cougars, ducks and other animals, the United States federal government is actively engaged in widespread acts of violence against nature, murdering literally millions of animals on an annual basis.

Keep in mind that the numbers shown above are only for 2009. A similar number of animals were killed by the USDA all the other years, too, going all the way back to the 1960's when the "Bye Bye Blackbird" program was first initiated.

By my estimates, the USDA has actively murdered at least 100 million animals in America over the last four decades, putting this on the scale of an animal holocaust and a crime against nature.

Don't speak of crosshairs or straight shooting

In the politically correct language-muzzled aftermath of the Giffords shooting, the mere mention of the term "crosshairs" is enough to evoke an on-air apology on network news programs. Now you can't say someone is a "straight shooter," either.

But if you work for the USDA, you can murder animals by the tens of millions and virtually no network news outlet even covers the story. It's not enough, apparently, that humans have already caused widespread destruction of animal habitat across North America; now our own government is actively murdering literally millions of animals every year.

And for what? What is the justification for these actions? According to the USA, these animals are a "nuisance" to farmers.

When is it okay to kill an animal?

I have great admiration for farmers, and I understand that there are times when predators can get out of control and cause a lot of damage. Coyotes can get into the chicken coop and kill your chickens, so on most farms and ranches, coyotes are considered live target practice at every opportunity. That's why nearly all U.S. ranchers own rifles as tools which are used for sniping at groundhogs and moles which tend to take more than their fair share of garden vegetables.

I know one rancher who was trying to plant an orchard and woke up one morning to find his newly planted trees had all been destroyed by a small band of hyperactive beavers. Needless to say, those beavers ended up right in the crosshairs of a utility 22 rifle.

I also understand that wild pigs (feral swine) can root up valuable crops in their search for food. There are times when certain types of animals can become very difficult for ranchers and farmers to deal with. Although I personally don't enjoy the thought of it, I can at least understand that there might be an economic justification in the minds of farmers and ranchers to kill certain animals which are destroying their crops (or chickens, or orchards). I've never met a farmer or rancher who simply killed animals for the fun of it. The ammo is too expensive, and farmers don't have that kind of time to waste in the first place. Most farmers, by the way, have a very high respect for life and only kill when they feel they have no available alternative.

But since when did sparrows, starlings and blackbirds ever pose a real threat to anyone? They're not going to fly off with your cow, and to blame these birds for eating the grain being fed to the cows is ridiculous in the first place because cows aren't supposed to eat grain.

Cows are supposed to eat grass. If you are running a cow operation where the birds are eating your grain and you think the birds are the problem, the real problem is that you're feeding cows the wrong food! If you raise your cows on grass, the birds don't get into the grain and you don't have to poison the birds.

You see, when one ecological element gets out of balance (feeding grain to cows, for example), it then causes another problem that must be dealt with in some other destructive way (such as poisoning the birds). This cycle of disharmony continues and escalates until entire ecosystems are out of whack. Then the USDA shows up with a pickup truck full of poison bait and goes to work poisoning animals.

The solution isn't to keep poisoning animals and trying to control populations through toxic chemicals but rather to return to holistic web-of-life farming methods that work in harmony with nature rather than treating nature as the enemy.

Then again, we are talking about the U.S. Department of Agriculture here. And while the USDA has a great number of truly useful programs (such as their USDA organic label, which is a high-integrity program), the agency as a whole remains steeped in the conventional agricultural mythology of pesticides, GMOs and "poisoning varmints."

How the federal government is abusing your tax dollars

All of this really makes me wonder about the whole argument of Big Government versus small government. The argument of those who say we should all pay our taxes is that the government needs your money to "build roads and schools."

What they don't bother to mention is that the government is also using your money in very destructive ways, too, such as poisoning animals and pushing GMOs into European nations (http://www.naturalnews.com/030828_G...).

Personally, I am ethically and morally opposed to my money being used for such destructive purposes. And even though I continue to pay my taxes, I do so under strong protest to the reality that my own government is committing an avian holocaust -- a crime against nature -- with the help of the dollars I reluctantly send to Washington.

The very thought of it makes me sick. I would be more than happy to contribute money to actually building schools and roads. But to see my hard-earned dollars used by the USDA to murder innocent animals is extremely offensive, and it is a violation of my own ethics and principles. My main purpose in serving as the editor of NaturalNews.com has been to protect life. And in my mind, that protection extends beyond human life. I believe we also have a reasonable obligation to protect the life of the animals around us -- and the very ecosystems upon which we ultimately depend.

Although I can understand certain rare cases in which eliminating an animal may be the only logical choice for a farmer who is losing his crops and whose livelihood is at stake, it seems that the current killing of animals by the USDA is wildly indiscriminate and lacks proper moral or even economic justification.

Poisoning the humans, too?

It also brings up the bigger question that I posed in a previous article on this topic: If the U.S. government thinks nothing of murdering tens of millions of birds and mammals who have become a "nuisance," then what happens when the human population becomes "too large" and needs to be controlled, too?

Will they simply feed us poison and hope we die off like the birds?

I might suggest that program is already under way. It's called water fluoridation. Food additives. Vaccines. Pharmaceuticals.

And the government doesn't call it murder, by the way. They refer to it as "euthanasia."

The only difference is they're killing the humans more slowly.

Bye Bye Blackbird: USDA Acknowledges a Hand in One Mass Bird Death

Atlanta - It's not the "aflockalyptic" fallout from a secret US weapon lab as some have theorized. But the government acknowledged Thursday that it had a hand in one of a string of mysterious mass bird deaths that have spooked residents in Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, South Dakota, and Kentucky in the last month.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) took responsibility for hundreds of dead starlings that were found on the ground and frozen in trees in a Yankton, S.D., park on Monday.

The USDA's Wildlife Services Program, which contracts with farmers for bird control, said it used an avicide poison called DRC-1339 to cull a roost of 5,000 birds that were defecating on a farmer's cattle feed across the state line in Nebraska. But officials said the agency had nothing to do with large and dense recent bird kills in Arkansas and Louisiana.

Nevertheless, the USDA's role in the South Dakota bird deaths puts a focus on a little-known government bird-control program that began in the 1960s under the name of Bye Bye Blackbird, which eventually became part of the USDA and was housed in the late '60s at a NASA facility. In 2009, USDA agents euthanized more than 4 million red-winged blackbirds, starlings, cowbirds, and grackles, primarily using pesticides that the government says are not harmful to pets or humans.

In addition to the USDA program, a so-called depredation order from the US Fish and Wildlife Service allows blackbirds, grackles, and starlings to be killed by anyone who says they pose health risks or cause economic damage. Though a permit is needed in some instances, the order is largely intended to cut through red tape for farmers, who often employ private contractors to kill the birds and do not need to report their bird culls to any authority.

"Every winter, there's massive and purposeful kills of these blackbirds," says Greg Butcher, the bird conservation director at the National Audubon Society. "These guys are professionals, and they don't want to advertise their work. They like to work fast, efficiently, and out of sight."

Bird Kills Turning Too Zealous?

The depredation order, however, is under review for its impact on the rare rusty blackbird, which roosts with more common species. Ornithologists also suspect that the mass killings may be a factor in declining populations of those species in the US.

While the USDA keeps tabs on the number of birds the program euthanizes, the total death toll isn't known because private contractors operating under the depredation order aren't required to keep count in the case of blackbirds, cowbirds, grackles, and starlings.

"My biggest concern is we don't know how many birds are being killed, and we don't have a sense of how at risk the rusty blackbird is because of depredation events in their range," says Mr. Butcher.

Yankton animal control officer Lisa Brasel told KTIV-TV that she first believed a cold snap had killed some 200 European starlings that were found dead in Riverside Park, reminding some residents of the final scenes of Alfred Hitchcock's thriller, "The Birds."

But then she said she received a call from a USDA official who said the agency had poisoned a roost of starlings 10 miles south of Yankton. Usually such poisonings result in flocks falling directly out of their tree roosts. But in this case, the birds traveled a fair distance before falling. "They were surprised they came to Yankton like they did and died in our park," said Brasel, according to KTIV-TV.

How Birds Plague Farmers

Carol Bannerman, a Wildlife Services spokeswoman, said such kills are carried out at the request of farmers who can prove the birds are a nuisance. The farmers also help pay the cost, according to the agency.

One example of nuisance birds are European starlings, a non-native species, at US dairies, where a flock of 5,000 can eat 200 pounds of feed a day while soiling equipment and dairy cows.

"It's not that we have anything against starlings, but our charge is to help protect agriculture ... and protect property and human health or safety," she says. "And the fact is, in a lot of rural settings, people say, 'It's just birds, what's the problem?' "

Ms. Bannerman added, however, that the agency takes care to notify local public-health and law-enforcement agencies before a scheduled kill, and noted "what went on in Louisiana and Arkansas, that was totally outside of what we're doing. We're quite concerned that people not connect those."

Two mass bird deaths in north Alabama this week are being investigated, with specimens being tested for toxicity. Two other mass bird deaths in Gilbertville and Murray, Ky., earlier this month were not linked to poison, but could have been caused by unseasonably cold weather. The most widely reported recent mass bird deaths – in Louisiana and Arkansas – have been tied to birds en masse flying into buildings and power lines.

Rogue Fireworks in Arkansas

In Arkansas, state ornithologist Karen Rowe has reviewed ground radar records that show a 20,000-plus bird roost taking flight at approximately 10:15 p.m. on New Year's Eve, 15 minutes after a series of large booms shook the windows of houses in a nearby subdivision.

This has caused state wildlife officials to pin the blame on a resident who may have gotten a hold of professional-grade fireworks. The dead birds were likely animals that were trying to land in the dark and hit some kind of object after being drawn to toward the artificial light of the neighborhood.

"So far, no one has confessed to letting off the fireworks, but the question remains if anyone would admit to it," says Ms. Rowe. They needn't fear retribution. Despite the number of birds that died, no laws were broken.

Some 5 billion birds die every year across the US, most largely unnoticed. Mass deaths are not uncommon. The US Geological Service's website listed about 90 mass deaths of birds and other wildlife in the last six months of 2010.

"Whether people are noticing it more and pointing it out more this year than in the past, is something that I'd be thinking about," says Bannerman at the USDA.

USDA Found to be Poisoning Bird Populations, Causing Mass Die-offs Involving Millions of Birds

Natural News

By Mike Adams

Not all the mysterious bird die-offs that have been witnessed around the globe recently are due to unexplained causes. A recent mass die-off event witnessed in Yankton, South Dakota was traced back to the USDA which admitted to carrying out a mass poisoning of the birds.

After hundreds of starlings were found dead in the Yankton Riverside Park, concerned citizens began to investigate. Before long, a USDA official called the local police and admitted they had poisoned the birds. “They say that they had poisoned the birds about ten miles south of Yankton and they were surprised they came to Yankton like they did and died in our park,” says Yankton Animal Control Officer Lisa Brasel, as reported by KTIV (http://www.ktiv.com/Global/story.as…).

The USDA then confirmed the story and explained it was all “part of a large killing” in Nebraska. Some of the birds that ate the poison apparently flew all the way to Yankton before succumbing to the poison.

Watch the video yourself, as reported from KTIV:

http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=19157…

USDA mass-murders birds on a regular basis

So why was the USDA poisoning birds in the first place? A Nebraska farmer was apparently complaining that the starlings were defecating in his feed meal. The answer to this conundrum apparently isn’t to cover your feed meal but rather call the USDA and ask them to poison thousands of birds.

The USDA complied, apparently agreeing this was a brilliant idea. So they put out a poison called DRC-1339 and allowed thousands of birds to feed on that poison.

Carol Bannerman from USDA Wildlife Services ridiculously claimed the bird kill was also to protect “human health.”

“We’re doing it to address, in this case, agricultural damage as well as the potential for human health and safety issues,” she said. That’s just a lie, of course. In what universe do starlings pose a threat to human health and safety?

The USDA Wildlife Services website, by the way, is http://www.aphis.usda.gov

The USDA even has a name for this mass poisoning program: Bye Bye Blackbird. Through the use of poisons such as DRC-1339, the USDA has killed more than four million birds over the last several years, reports Truthout (http://www.truth-out.org/bye-bye-bl…).

They even proudly publish an online spreadsheet showing just how many they’ve murdered with poison: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/wildlife_…

Remember, these are mass bird killings that are funded with your tax dollars. It all makes you wonder whether the government is, in fact, responsible for many of the other mysterious animal deaths that have been reported across the country (and around the globe).

It also makes you wonder: If the federal government thinks nothing of murdering 4 million living, breathing birds, then what else might they be capable of doing out of a total lack of respect for wildlife?

And if the USDA poisons birds because certain groups become too populous, what do you suppose is planned for when human population grows too large?

Pa. cemetery worker faces life in third sex case

The Associated Press
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa.—The former caretaker of a western Pennsylvania cemetery faces up to life in prison for this third child-sex conviction, this one involving a 12-year-old girl he had accused of vandalizing the graveyard.

Thirty-year-old David Allen Helsel, of Altoona, was convicted Thursday by a Blair County jury on 15 charges, including attempted rape of a child.

Authorities say the girl was one of several adolescents hanging out at Oakridge Cemetery in June 2009 when Helsel accused them of vandalism. Helsel told the girl and another to come with him and he allegedly held a knife to her neck while assaulting her in nearby woods.

Online records don't list a sentencing date.

Helsel had testified the confrontation occurred only because a boy in the group pulled a knife on him.

As bad as ObamaCare is, the push for "net neutrality" is worse.

The foisting of 'net neutrality'
Chris Woodward - OneNewsNow

Internet address bigA new article claims that as bad as ObamaCare is, the push for "net neutrality" is worse.

Seton Motley is the president of Less Government and Editor in Chief of StopNetRegulation.org. He recently wrote an article citing what he sees as many similarities between ObamaCare and network neutrality for the Internet. But while ObamaCare was at least approved through Congress and enacted into law by President Obama, Motley says net neutrality is different -- and much worse.

"The media Marxists who were pushing net neutrality gave up on the congressional route in 2007," he argues, "and [they] started working on it via the FCC, which is five unelected bureaucrats, three of whom voted to impose net neutrality on all of us December 21...."

Seton MotleyThe problem with that, he laments, is that unlike they can do with elected representatives in Congress, voters have no way of addressing the Federal Communications Commission's policies directly. Still, Motley says make no mistake, he is in favor of repealing Obamacare.

"Oh, absolutely," he affirms. "The last line of the piece is: 'But why quibble? Let's repeal both.'"

As far as net neutrality goes, Motley remains hopeful members of Congress will intervene and reverse the FCC policy, using the Congressional Review Act. Motley adds that Verizon has also filed a lawsuit this week to overturn the order.

2nd grade teacher suspended after reports of classroom sex

2nd grade teacher suspended after reports of classroom sex
OneNewsNow
OAKLAND, Calif. – A second-grade teacher in Northern California was placed on leave while a school and police investigated accounts by students that classmates engaged in oral sex and stripped off some of their clothes during class, officials said Friday.

The investigation was under way at Markham Elementary School in Oakland, where the principal notified parents of the situation in a letter Thursday.

"We believe if the reports are true, there was a serious lapse of judgment or lack of supervision in the classroom," said Troy Flint, a spokesman for the Oakland Unified School District. "We're investigating how could this have happened. It seems unthinkable to us, just the same way it does to the public."

The male teacher, whose name has not been released, told investigators he did not see any of the acts that authorities suspect occurred last week. The teacher is barred from campus at least until the investigation is completed.

The principal learned of the allegations Wednesday after a student gave an account to a teacher's assistant, Flint said.

"Upon hearing these reports, we immediately launched an investigation which, to date, suggests that the reports have merit," Principal Pam Booker wrote in the letter to parents. "We have interviewed all the student participants who were implicated, as well as their teacher, and we continue to investigate the matter aggressively."

One incident involved several students who partially undressed and acted disruptively during class, while the other involved students who engaged in oral sex, district officials said.

"I apologize for this and assure you that we are collaborating with counselors and parents to provide support to those involved, address any concerns and take whatever actions are necessary to ensure that a similar act does not occur again," Booker told parents in the letter.

Counselors were at the school Friday to speak with students.

District officials emphasized the students were not accused of any wrongdoing.

"It's an incident of kids expressing their natural curiosity that went too far because an adult didn't step in," Flint said.

Some parents said they were outraged when they received the letter and saw the story on the news.

"It kind of scares me to know that the teachers aren't really watching them," said Ane Musuva, who has two children at Markham. "I don't want my kids growing up in this type of environment."
