FBI shows up at teenager's home to ask about his Ron Paul school report

RT - A 16-year-old high school student’s video report for his American Government class earned him an A+ from his teacher. It also yielded a visit from the FBI.

Justin Hallman says that a project he put together for school that included information on the National Defense Authorization Act, Rep. Ron Paul, Anonymous and the Occupy Wall Street movement was well received in the classroom, but wasn’t exactly praised by others. After agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation saw a copy of Hallman’s finished work on YouTube, they paid a visit to his own home.

The boy’s mother says the FBI showed up at their home one month after the class project was first turned in and told her, "We need to talk to your son." Once inside, Justin Hallman says he was drilled about his thoughts on an array of issues included in his project.

"They also asked me why I had talked to my teacher about the Illuminati,” he writes in an email obtained by Infowars. “I told them it was just harmless talk about the 1776 Illuminati that formed from the enlightenment era. I said my teacher said they are/were terrorists and not to talk about them (this caused the FBI agents to look puzzled and they changed the subject very fast to Anonymous). In the end they finally left for an ‘important meeting.’”

Hallman says the meeting wasn’t an informal chat, either, but even involved a proposition. According to the high-schooler, the FBIs attempted to recruit Hallman as an undercover source to scoop up more information on Anonymous and Occupy Wall Street.

“They wanted me to be an informant, to possibly put my life in danger, to help them arrest and gain intel on occupy protesters and hackers,” Hallman says in the email.

In the video he produced for class, Hallman includes text that warns, “Our future relies on the choices we make next” and “There is still hope!” For Mr. Sparks, his American Government teacher that “liked it so much that he gave it a score of 45/35 points,” the future might seem hopeful. For the FBI, however, that outlook appears to be eyebrow-raising and worthy of a surprise stop-by.

On his YouTube channel, Hallman says he’s decided to make a second video to cover recent developments “involving the NDAA, TrapWire, the increasing police state, and the possibility of a war with Iran.” His first clip has so far earned him over 100,000 views online.

2012 Liberty Political Action Conference

The second day of the 2012 Liberty Political Action Conference just wrapped, and it's been an amazing time so far!

Just a little while ago tonight, the Champion of the Constitution brought hundreds of attendees to their feet to cheer on the message of liberty.

In addition to Congressman Paul, so far we've heard from speakers including Senator Rand Paul, Senator Mike Lee, Senator Jim DeMint, Bruce Fein, Jack Hunter, Ivan Eland, South Carolina State Senator Tom Davis, Congressman Justin Amash, Mike Church, and more!!

And attendees are looking forward to the grassroots training starting in the morning.

If LPAC 2012 is sending one message, it's this: liberty activists can make a difference, and we are the future!

Our movement's passion for the issues and determination to change the status quo are unmatched, and attendees are getting equipped with the information and tools they need to fight back against Big Government.

Stay tuned for post-Conference reports on CampaignForLiberty.org and for Conference videos.

If you weren't able to attend this year, we hope to see you at a future event! Keep spreading the word in your local area and fighting for change as we continue our mission to Reclaim the Republic and Restore the Constitution!

In Liberty,

Matt Hawes

Friends,

You received an email yesterday about Gov. Johnson's fight to be on the ballot in all 50 states -- and the Republicans' efforts to keep him OFF the ballots in key states.  As you can see from the article below, the fight continues today.  We're winning, but the Republican lawyers are not giving up.  If you haven't already, go to www.garyjohnson2012.com and help us keep fighting.

Libertarian Gary Johnson Wins First Ballot Fight; GOP to Appeal

A Pa. Court ruled that Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson has enough petition signatures to appear on the ballot in Pennsylvania, but Republicans are expected to appeal the decision by the end of the day Friday.

Commonwealth Court judges sided with Johnson by a margin of 2-1 on Thursday, according to the Associated Press. They ruled that about 9,000 of the candidate’s petition signatures are valid despite the fact that voters’ home addresses from the petitions did not match the addresses listed in the voting file.

Two people with knowledge of the petition challenge – which has been coordinated with the Pa. Republican Party – said an appeal was in the process of being filed Friday afternoon. Both said the move is typical in such disputes; state law gives litigants a presumptive right to appeal any Commonwealth Court decision.

Johnson served as Governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2003, and briefly sought the Republican nomination for President this year. A fiscal conservative, he supports the decriminalization of marijuana. He is scheduled to attend a rally at West Chester University in suburban Philadelphia on Monday, kicking off a national tour of college campuses.

Pennsylvania’s ballot access rules for 3rd party and independent candidates are among the strictest in the nation. Johnson needed 20,601 signatures for his name to appear on the ballot (his campaign turned in 49,000). Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney needed only 2,000 each.

Johnson is on the ballot in 47 states; challenges are pending in Pa. as well as Michigan and Oklahoma.

Johnson’s candidacy has worried some Republicans who fear that the fiscal conservative could siphon votes away from Romney. It could potentially cost Romney the Presidency in the case of a narrow election – particularly given the warm reception Johnson has received from disaffected supporters of former candidate Ron Paul.

A similar scenario played out in Florida in 2000, when Green Party candidate Ralph Nader received about 20,000 votes. Democrat Al Gore went on to lose to George W. Bush by about 500 votes.

Speaking of the Green Party, its nominee, Dr. Jill Stein of New York, will also appear on Pennsylvania’s ballot. Her campaign said that her petition signatures were not challenged.

Last week, I sat horrified as I watched the Democratic National Convention...

Hundreds upon hundreds of duly elected delegates angrily boo’d an amendment to add God back into their party platform.

You see, radical elements in the Democratic Party had made sure that the acknowledgement of God was removed from the platform in committee.

The radicals correctly understood that a belief in God and Biblical morality stand in direct contradiction with their leaders' support of homosexual "marriage."

Party leadership quickly realized that it would be suicide for a major political party to -- in essence -- denounce God!

You can watch the final vote and fight over the inclusion of God by clicking here.

Even if you have already seen the shocking footage, please click here to read a special post-convention analysis just for Public Advocate members.
