As domestic and international hostilities proliferate, governments will launch law and order campaigns to crack down on crime as well as legitimate protests. Any internal or external threat to any government’s power will be crushed by the full force of the law, even if new laws (e.g., The Patriot Act) have to be invented in order to legitimize them.
As has been amply demonstrated, each new violent event provokes a harsher government reprisal. While we can predict the “Loss of Liberty” trend will continue, it does not mean that it cannot be reversed, or at least mitigated. The level of enslavement people are willing to accept depends solely upon the human spirit. To believe you “can’t fight City Hall” or beat Big Brother is a state of mind and not a foreordained conclusion. If enough people join in a common cause for the common good, not only Big Brother, but even Homeland Security’s “Big Sis” can be brought to her knees.
However, if government is left unchecked, civil rights will be serially abrogated.

1. Ignore the naysayers - it's their game plan to brainwash you. Vote your conscience.
The best strategy our current President, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich have to chisel away at our belief in the best President for 2012, Ron Paul, is to downplay Dr. Paul's ability to win. Ron Paul is the only candidate who can right the economic and military ship and clear out the Washington political dead wood, which includes our current President and the other Republican candidates. The Rasmussen poll shows Ron Paul as the best candidate to beat our current President. If you want to vote for Ron Paul and believe in his ideas and his integrity, but say, "Well, he'll never win so I won't vote for him", that means that the other guys' tricks worked on you.

2. Are major news outlets ever wrong about who will win the presidency and do they ever intentionally mislead us?
Yes and yes. There is a famous photo of President Truman holding a copy of the Chicago Tribune after Truman won a subsequent term. The headline says, "Dewey Defeats Truman." Would major media outlets try to sway and mislead the public in 2012 to discourage you from voting for Ron Paul by discounting or downplaying his ability to win? Sure. A quote from over 150 years ago says it all, "Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see?"

3. Are Ron Paul's ideas crazy?
Dr. Ron Paul's ideas about the U.S.'s economy, national defense and our Constitution are as real and solid as ideas had by another famous leader who was also initially not listened to. Winston Churchill saw the danger of Hitler leading Germany long before it became readily apparent. Others wanted to believe that everything was fine and that Hitler was being honest about his intentions. When Rep. Ron Paul talks about what is going on in our country regarding America's finances, the Constitution and corruption, he is telling the truth. It is ugly and scary, but ignoring Hitler didn't result in the problems going away for Europe. Problems have to be faced head on thoughtfully and responsibly. Winston Churchill's unrelenting warnings and leadership were crucial in gathering forces in time to avoid devastation. Ron Paul has an excellent and accurate grasp of our country's issues and has been talking about them for decades.

Keep the faith in Ron Paul, the U.S. and its Constitution. In Winston Churchill's famous words, "Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense."
