It sounds incredible I know. When I first read the facts, they blew my socks off. I couldn’t believe Pres. Obama would do this—and that it’s not front page news with big-banner-screaming headlines everywhere.
Yes, Pres. Obama is, right now, piece-by-piece assembling a federally-controlled database that identifies and collects personal information on virtually every American school child.
He is doing this in clear and open defiance of federal laws that ban the Department of Education from housing a federal database on public schoolchildren.
Even worse, Pres. Obama’s new regulations say his administration can share this private and personal data on your child with virtually anyone he wants.
What kind of information are we talking about?
Right now the Obama administration is asking states to collect more than 400 private and personal data points on your child and grandchildren.
Your child’s religion? Clearly none of the federal government’s business, but Pres. Obama wants the data on your child.
Your child’s health history? His or her visits to the school nurse? Assessments of his or her mental and social well being? None of the federal government’s business, obviously, but Pres. Obama wants that data collected on your child.
Your family’s income? Pres.Obama wants to know. Your child’s disciplinary incidents? None of the federal government’s business, but Pres. Obama is going to put this info into a database that he controls, and which he has unilaterally decided that the federal government is allowed to share with anyone interested in “studying” your child’s progress.
This is not just impersonal or abstract information. It is personal to your child. The federally-controlled database is going to include a personal identification number—possibly your child’s social security number—that allows the government to personally track your child as he or she moves into different schools and, indeed, through life.
As I said, this is outrageous. A patent violation of federal laws designed to protect your child’s privacy and limit the federal government’s power. Congress has passed explicit laws banning the Department of Education from housing a federal database.
How has Pres. Obama skirted the law?
Pres. Obama’s stealth strategy has been brilliant in a despicable way.
The first step was to use stimulus money to fool the states into adopting something called “common core standards”. Sounds pretty right? But even the liberal Brookings Institution education scholar Tom Loveless now says that national standards won’t raise student performance. And a new study by the American Principles Project and the Pioneer Institute shows that complying with Obama’s common core standards will cost state governments $16 billion.
Unconscionable. But the very worst cost is the cost to your family’s control over your child’s private information.
Smuggled into the 2009 Stimulus Bill was a requirement that states assemble a new kind of database on every public school child: one that allows the government to track every individual child through the years, without parental permission. Even if you originally agreed to let your child be assessed, you won’t be told that letting your child see the school nurse may mean that information about him or her will go to the federal government, to be shared with whomever Pres. Obama wants.

Homosexual “marriage” by legislative decree?
Times are more desperate than ever.
The Radical Homosexual Lobby has forced homosexual “marriage” upon two more states.
In just the past few weeks, both Washington State and Maryland have acted to mandate homosexual “marriage.”
These are particularly bitter losses to me.
Public Advocate has fought time and again to save real marriage in Maryland.
I am incredibly proud of our victories there.
Just last year you and I fought the Homosexual Lobby to a standstill in Maryland's House and forced the legislators to reject homosexual "marriage."
And only days before the Washington state senate cast their vote, Public Advocates supporters launched a blistering phone campaign demanding a halt to this legislation.
Regretfully, they did not listen.
Legislators in both states willfully ignored the wishes of the constituents -- and the cries from pro-Family Americans across the nation -- in order to appease a radical minority and their bloated bank accounts.
You see, this is their grand strategy.

The Radical Homosexual Lobby knows that they will never win the support of mainstream America.
But, they can buy off a few politicians in each state.
This is exactly how homosexual “marriage” was passed in New York last summer -- backroom deals and homosexual slush funds.
I’m afraid to say it, but this strategy is the most dangerousone I have ever seen them try.
They have succeeded in three states in less than a year, and they nearly succeeded in a fourth state just last month.
If not for Gov. Chris Christie's veto, New Jersey would be joining Washington and Maryland.
But now, you and I have our work cut out for us.
You see, there is good news... even in the face of such disaster.
In both Maryland and Washington State, pro-Family citizens are rallying to overturn this usurpation of their wishes.
Public Advocate is organizing on the ground in both states right now -- but I need your help.
To overturn homosexual “marriage,” pro-Family advocates will have to get the bills placed on the November ballot -- and in order to do that they will need to gather tens of thousands of signatures in Maryland; Washington State will require almost 300,000 signatures!

RON PAUL: CARRY ON Pledge HERE
The mainstream media got the Super Tuesday story wrong. Very wrong. Again.
I'm sure you heard them gleefully talk about which establishment candidate "won" which primary or caucus Tuesday night, if you were even watching. Most Americans thankfully had more sense and switched on something else.
The fact is, just like in many of the earlier contests, very few delegates to the Republican National Convention were decided on Tuesday. Most will be decided several weeks, or even months, from now at District and State conventions - conventions where our local delegates will have a big say in who goes to Tampa.
In fact, while I didn't win any state's straw polls, my team expects me to win a plurality of delegates in at least three states, as well as outright majorities in two more of the states that have already started their process.
Of course, the media totally ignores this story - as they have consistently ignored our message, our passion, and our grassroots army.
Even more lost in the shuffle is that no candidate for President has even made it one-third of the way toward the number of delegates needed to win the nomination.
And for that reason I am determined to proudly battle on, picking up more delegates and skewering the pretensions and historical rewrites of ALL the establishment candidates – Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Newt Gingrich.
And I will continue to proudly speak up for liberty, respecting the Constitution in domestic and foreign policy, and returning to a limited government that acts and spends within its means.
And I will continue to do so as long as you will stand with me.
So what does all of that mean?
It means this race is FAR from over. In fact, you could argue it is just getting started. With the decisive number of delegates still to be awarded between now and June, and with our activists swarming local and county delegate selections, you and I will surely end up with an army of delegates...
… IF we don't give up now.
I know it can be tempting to hear and believe the reports of how we can't win. Even worse, you can listen to the professional political class tell you that ideas, the grassroots, and the future do not matter. They rarely say it directly, but their message to you and me from Day One has been - if you cannot win it all this year, you shouldn't even try. It can be tempting to question whether or not all the hard work is worth it.
Well, I know it is. That's why I'm flying thousands of hours and crisscrossing the country. That's why I am leaving my family and home for weeks on end - to fight for the future of our movement and our country.
I am vowing to you today that I will keep fighting. I will fight in every convention and every place where delegates will be selected. I will fight until there is a clear winner - not because the media says that’s the end, but because the nomination has been clinched.
And by my calculations, that may never actually happen. Even if one candidate starts to rack up a clear advantage, it is unlikely he will have all the delegates needed to win on the first ballot.
And if that is the case, then the hundreds of delegates who support our ideals and my campaign (many of whom may be bound to another candidate for the first ballot or two but then free to vote their conscience), will be unleashed.
And they will hold the key to deciding the nominees for President and Vice President, as well as what the platform and policies of the Republican Party will be.
These things – and, even more, the long-term standing of the liberty movement - are worth fighting for, even when we are tired and feel like quitting.
But I cannot do it alone.

These are OUR issues. And NONE of them were part of the discussion by the other Republican candidates in 2008. Nearly ALL of the candidates now are trying to sound like us!That tells you our message is breaking through. We are winning on many fronts.
And we must carry the message through the rest of this campaign.
