Gun Confiscation Bill Is Proposed In California
On Thursday, Democrats in California rolled out a massive gun control package. Under the rules of the ten new bills, all semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines would be banned, all guns would be registered and gun owners would need a special permit just to buy ammunition. Community Rallies: 'We Have The Right To Defend Ourselves'   
Last week, police in Layton, Utah arrested Clare Niederhauser, a concealed weapons permit holder, after he fired one shot at a car and another at a fleeing burglar. His supporters say that he is being unfairly punished for protecting his home. They also contend that this arrest sets a precedence that homeowners can’t protect themselves.
