Headline Harrisburg Friday, February 01, 2013  The latest news from the State Capitol Second Amendment Rights – We, as firearm owners, are protected under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I Section 21 of the Pennsylvania Constitution. President Obama is considering several actions by executive order that may infringe on our rights. I will soon be introducing legislation which would make it illegal to enforce those rules or regulations in the Commonwealth. My bill would be similar to legislation I support (House Bill 357, authored by state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-Butler) with the exception of it pertaining only to executive order and regulations by a federal agency. Planning for 2013-14….gets underway when Gov. Tom Corbett presents his budget address to the General Assembly on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
