Pope: Christians must mend divisions

Vatican City - Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday implored Christians to mend their divisions which he described as “an insult to God”.

On a week of prayers dedicated to Christian unity, the pontiff called for a “serious effort to convert to Christ” during Sunday's prayer.

“Each division of the Church is an insult to God,” he said, speaking from his apartment's balcony on Saint Peter's Square.

Earlier this week he expressed “deep regret over the impossibility of sharing the same Eucharist (Holy Communion), a sign that we are still far from reaching unity”.

He also highlighted the hardships Christians face in the Middle East, a reference to recent attacks, including the deadly bombing of a Coptic Church in Egypt that killed 21 people.

Threatening to exacerbate tensions between Muslims and Egypt's minority Christians, a suicide bomber killed 21 people outside a church in the northern city of Alexandria after a New Year's Eve mass at the start of 2011.

“We know the hardships our brothers and sisters have to face in the Holy Land and the Middle East...sometimes to the point of sacrificing their lives,” he said.

Earlier this month the pope called on the Arab world to protect Christians, prompting Egypt to recall its ambassador and slam the comments as “unacceptable interference”.

And the imams of Al-Azhar in Egypt, the largest centre for Sunni Islam close to Cairo, suspended relations with the Vatican, saying Pope Benedict XVI's comments were an “attack on Islam”. - Sapa-AFP Read more at www.iol.co.za

Hundreds of millions of Chinese citizens remain stunned today after China’s official government television news station Xinhua made their unprecedented January 4th announcement that the American President, Barak Obama, was preparing to announce to the world the existence of extraterrestrial races currently on our planet and fueled by what they called was a “extraterrestrial disclosure race” now developing between China and the US. Unfortunately for the American people, their propaganda media outlets have refused to allow them to know of this historic event, and even worse are keeping from these people the grave and dire situation facing our entire planet as we near what the ancients called “The End of Days”.

In our previous reports (Greenland Sunrise Shocks World As Superstorms Pound Planet, Poisonous Space Clouds Slamming Into Earth Cause Mass Bird And Fish Deaths, Pole Shift Blamed For Russian Air Disaster, Closure Of US Airport and Massive Earthquake Fears Rise After Mysterious Object Moves Nearer To Earth) we began detailing the rise of the global chaos now occurring, and when matched with the accounts of similar events in our Earth’s ancient past we stated:

“Now to fully understand what this Global catastrophe is all about one must look at exactly what the ancients wrote about it, and can be summarized as follows: 1.) Every few thousands years (3,500-5,000) a planetary size “object” sojourns through our Solar System causing chaos among the Planets. 2.) The timing of this mysterious objects appearance coincides with a human population grown so large and powerful it begins to threaten all other life on Earth. 3.) The events preceding this mysterious objects return include social upheaval, world wars, mass animal deaths and powerful Superstorms. 4.) The culminating event is this mysterious object coming so close to Earth that our planet’s rotation is stopped, reversed and re-started causing massive earthquakes and tidal waves that wipes out nearly all human civilization. 5.) Both immediately prior to and following the cataclysmic destruction of Earth the “gods” return to save a remnant of humanity and help it rebuild a shattered Earth.”

With Obama knowing that the ancient “gods” are returning to Earth to, once again, help protect humanity from the coming destruction of our planet he is, likewise, pitted against those in his own government intent upon keeping the truth from his people, and as evidenced by a recently released secret US State Department cable to their embassy in Ukraine which said: “It is critical all embassy staff understand that they are not to discuss under any circumstance concerns DOD [US Department of Defense] has with UFOs entering orbit, once again the seriousness of this matter cannot be overstated”.

To how grim the situation has become for our planet is nearly beyond comprehension, especially after 2010 became the worst year for natural disasters in all recorded modern human history and shows no signs of abating in 2011 as Superstorms continue pounding the globe from Brazil to Australia and a new Superstorm warned is preparing to hit the United States this week.

Even worse are new reports warning that our Earth’s magnetic poles have accelerated their movement and that the entire Continent of Africa is, literally, splitting in two, and as we quote from Cynthia Ebinger, a geologist from the University of Rochester in New York, who told Germany’s Spiegel Online News Service this past week: “The earth is in upheaval in northeastern Africa, and the region is changing quickly. The desert floor is quaking and splitting open, volcanoes are boiling over, and seawaters are encroaching upon the land. Africa, researchers are certain, is splitting apart at a rate rarely seen in geology.”

Not just to Africa, either, are concerns growing as new reports from the United States volcanic caldera Yellowstone region are reporting a rapid uplifting of land over 10 inches and one of America’s top physicists, Dr. Michio Kaku, warned world citizens this past week about the pending threat of enormous earthquakes that will destroy entire cities.

Most laughable, perhaps, of the West’s reaction to the coming global catastrophes, and the true reasons for it, was the warning issued this past week by Dr. Brad Carter, Senior Lecturer of Physics at the University of Southern Queensland, that by 2012 another Sun would appear in our Earth’s sky, and as we can read:

“Betelgeuse, one of the night sky’s brightest stars, is losing mass, indicating it is collapsing. It could run out of fuel and go super-nova at any time. When that happens, for at least a few weeks, we’d see a second sun, Carter says. There may also be no night during that timeframe. The Star Wars-esque scenario could happen by 2012, Carter says…”

What makes Dr. Carter’s “announcement” about a second Sun appearing in our sky by 2012 so laughable is that it is exactly what our ancient ancestors said would happen, and as documented by the Russian-American researcher Immanuel Velikovsky who in compiling the so called myths and legends of all of our Earth and its peoples going back thousands of years discovered:

Ø Planet Earth has suffered natural catastrophes on a global scale, both before and during humankind’s recorded history.

Ø There is evidence for these catastrophes in the geological record and archeological record. The extinction of many species had occurred catastrophically, not by gradual Darwinian means.

Ø The catastrophes that occurred within the memory of humankind are recorded in the myths, legends and written history of all ancient cultures and civilizations. Velikovsky pointed to alleged concordances in the accounts of many cultures, and proposed that they referred to the same real events. For instance, the memory of a flood is recorded in the Hebrew Bible, in the Greek legend of Deucalion, and in the Manu legend of India. Velikovsky put forward the psychoanalytic idea of “Cultural Amnesia” as a mechanism whereby these literal records came to be regarded as mere myths and legends.

Ø The causes of these natural catastrophes were close encounters between the Earth and other bodies within the solar system — not least what were now the planets Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars, these bodies having moved upon different orbits within human memory.

Ø To explain the celestial mechanics necessary to permit these changes to the configuration of the solar system, Velikovsky thought that electromagnetic forces might somehow play a greater role to counteract gravity and orbital mechanics.

To if Obama, like the Chinese government has told its citizens, will be allowed to truthfully tell the American people the truth about what is happening it is not in our knowing, other than to point out the obvious that no American President is truly in charge of anything, and as best exampled by Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) 28th President of the United States who once warned his people: “Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

Though President Wilson, and nearly all world leaders for that matter, remain in great fear of this “unseen power” we do not! In fact, for thousands of years our Order, and many other like ours, have battled against this evil and know it all too well.

This centuries old battle we have waged has not come without great personal cost, but a cost we judge well worth it if just a single life be saved. And to save these lives we must first battle through the many lies and prejudices deliberately implanted into human beings today, most especially those lies making people believe that we as a human race are separate from each other.

Our battle against these monsters who believe they rule over you also comes at great expense as they will exhaust nothing to suppress and keep hidden the truth from you, even to destroying those like us who stand against them.

The main “tactic” used against us, and all others like us, is to demonize with lies about who we are and what we really stand for so as to keep people from reading the truths we offer. They need no proof for their lies either, they just need to keep repeating them over, and over, and over, to the point where the “lies have become the truth” and creating a world that the Christian prophet Paul described as “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions.”

Unfortunately, for those people today seeking teachers and/or knowledge to fit into what they believe is true, instead of letting the truth create the world that really is, our words are all too frequently cast aside because they don’t “fit” into their worldview.

The great English author and journalist George Orwell (1903-1950) once wrote that “During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” By our telling you the truth, and by extension you reading it, makes us both revolutionaries.

And as revolutionaries we both have responsibilities; ours is to continue to uncover and reveal to you the truths being kept hidden from you…and yours is to support our efforts to do that.

As recently exampled by WikiLeaks, whose founder has been “jailed and bailed” and has had his access to funds from his supporters cut off, and the 23-year-old US Soldier, Bradley Manning, who gave the secret US cables to Wikileaks and is now being tortured by his American jailers, and America’s main opposition newsman, Keith Olbermann, fired without warning from his top rated news show for opposing US wars in what is being described as a “right-wing turn”, to all of these and more, the forces arrayed against those telling the truth are not only formidable, they are ruthless.

Though the times we live in are, indeed, grave and dark, there is no excuse for you to any longer be without a side you are standing on, or principles that you are not standing for….those days are long gone because a new world is descending upon you with such speed and ferocity that without truthful knowledge you might as well just give up because you won’t have anything protecting you.

Our ability to keep the truth flowing to you is, however, in danger as the costs of doing so continue to exceed what we’re able to raise, and because of that we need your help…Now!

A grim report prepared by France’s General Directorate for External Security (DGSE) obtained by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) states that president’s Obama and Sarkozy have “agreed in principal” to create a joint US-European military force to deal exclusively with a Global uprising expected this spring as our World runs out of food.

According to this report, Sarkozy, as head of the G-20 group of developed Nations, called for and received an emergency meeting with Obama this past Monday at the White House wherein he warned his American counterpart that the shock rise in food prices occurring due to an unprecedented series of disasters was threatening the stability of the entire World and could lead to the outbreak of Total Global War.

Just last week French Prime Minister Francois Fillon underlined that one of France’s top G-20 priorities was to find a collective response to “excessive volatility” in food prices now occurring, a statement joined by Philippe Chalmin, a top economic adviser to the French government, who warned the World may face social unrest including food riots in April as grain prices increase to unprecedented highs.

The fears of the French government over growing Global instability was realized this past week after food riots erupted in Algeria and Tunisia and left over 50 dead. So dire has the situation become in Tunisia that their government this morning rushed in massive amounts of troops and tanks to their capital city Tunis and instituted a Nationwide curfew in an order to quell the growing violence.

The United Nations, also, warned this past Friday that millions of people are now at risk after food prices hit their highest level ever as Global wheat stocks fell to 175.2 million tons from 196.7 million tons a year ago; Global corn stocks are said may be 127.3 million tons at the end of this season, compared with last month’s USDA outlook for 130 million tons; and Global soybean inventories will drop to 58.78 million tons at the end of this season, from 60.4 million tons a year earlier.

Robert Zoellick, president of the World Bank, further warned this past week that rising food prices are “a threat to global growth and social stability” as our World, for the first time in living memory, has been warned is just “one poor harvest away from chaos”.

Important to note about how dire the Global food situation has become is to understand the disasters that have befallen our World’s top wheat growing Nations this past year, and who in descending order are: China, India, United States, Russia, France, Canada, Germany, Ukraine, Australia and Pakistan.

From China’s disaster: 2010 China drought and dust storms were a series of severe droughts during the spring of 2010 that affected Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Sichuan, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hebei and Gansu in the People’s Republic of China as well as parts of Southeast Asia including Vietnam and Thailand, and dust storms in March and April that affected much of East Asia. The drought has been referred to as the worst in a century in southwestern China.

From India’s disaster: A record heat wave and growing water crisis in India are forcing politicians to consider implementing user fees and other measures to conserve water. Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday instructed ministers and officials to prepare a strategic plan to face an impending food crisis as there were signs that the World is to confront a food shortage by next April.

From Russia’s disaster: (10% of total World’s output, 20% for export) they were hit by the highest recorded temperatures Russia has seen in 130 years of recordkeeping; the most widespread drought in more than three decades; and massive wildfires that have stretched across seven regions, including Moscow.

From France’s disaster: The French government lowered their wheat crop forecast by 2.7% over last year due to drought and cold weather.

From Canada’s disaster: Record setting drought has affected their main grain producing provinces in the Western part of their Nation.

From Ukraine’s disaster: (the World’s top producer of barley and sixth biggest of wheat) hit as hard as Russia by fire and drought to the point they have halted all their exports of grains in 2011.

From Australia’s disaster: Fears of a Global wheat shortage have risen after the Queensland area of Australia was hit by calamitous flooding. Andrew Fraser, Queensland’s State Treasurer, described the floods as a “disaster of biblical proportions”. Water is covering land the size of France and Germany. It is expected to reach over 30 feet deep in some areas in coming days.

From Pakistan’s disaster: Floods have submerged 17 million acres of Pakistan’s most fertile crop land, have killed 200,000 herd of livestock and have washed away massive amounts of grain and left farmers unable to meet the fall deadline for planting new seeds, which implies a massive loss of food production in 2011, and potential long term food shortages.

Not only have the vast majority of our World’s top wheat producers been affected, but also one of the main grain producing regions on the Planet, South America, has been hit by disasters too where an historic drought has crippled Argentina and Bolivia, and Brazil, that regions largest Nation, has been hit with catastrophic floods that have killed nearly 400 people in the past few days alone.

Even the United States has been hit as a catastrophic winter has seen 49 of their 50 States covered by snow causing unprecedented damage to their crops in Florida due to freezing weather, and record setting rains destroying massive numbers of crops in their most important growing region of California.

And if you think that things couldn’t get any worse you couldn’t be more mistaken as South Korea (one of the most important meat exporters in Asia) has just this past week had to destroy millions of farm animals after an outbreak of the dreaded foot-and-mouth disease was discovered.

To how horrific the Global food situation will become this year was made even more grim this past month when the United States reported that nearly all of their honey bee and bumblebee populations have died out, and when coupled with the “mysterious” die-off of the entire bat population in America means that the two main pollinators of fruit and vegetable plants will no longer be able to do their jobs leading to crop losses this report warns will be “biblical and catastrophic”.

Chillingly to note is that after meeting with Sarkozy, Obama began implementing his Nation’s strategy for keeping the truth of this dire events from reaching the American people by ordering all US citizens to have an Internet ID so that they can be tracked and jailed should they begin telling the truth.

And so today, as agricultural traders and analysts warn that the latest revision to US and Global stocks means there is no further room for weather problems, a new cyclone is preparing to hit Australia, brutal winter weather in India has killed nearly 130, and more snow is warned to hit America, and we’re not even two full weeks into 2011… may God have mercy on us all.

A Canadian man has been charged with multiple weapons violations after he used his revolver to defend himself from firebombers who tried to destroy his home. And it was all caught on camera.

Ian Thomson is a 53-year-old former mobile crane operator from Southwestern Ontario. He‘s also a devoted student who’s using his years after 50 to study environmental geosciences. And he’s even a former firearms instructor. But this fall he became a criminal in the eyes of the law.

It all began in late August of last year, when Thomson woke up to the sound of three masked men tossing at least six Molotov cocktails at his house:

In response, Thomson grabbed his Smith & Wesson revolver and ran out of his house in his underwear and “fired his revolver two, maybe three times, we’re not sure,” his lawyer, Edward Burlew, told Canada’s National Post.

Thomson’s security cameras captured the attack. But when he turned the footage over to the local police, Thomson couldn’t believe what happened: he was charged with careless use of a firearm, and his collection of seven guns, five pistols, and two rifles was seized, along with his firearms license. More charges were added later, including pointing a firearm and two counts of careless storage of a firearm. Prosecutors are recommending jail time.

“I don’t have enemies,” Thomson told the Post. “I don’t know that many people. I’m a quiet man. I just want to go back to my life and be able to live out my days in relative peace.”

He and his lawyer are baffled by the charges. According to the Post, it is legal to claim self-defense in cases such as this, but Canada does lack the U.S.-style “Castle Doctrine,” which allows citizens to defend their property with force.

“If the public are wondering can you run out of your house and [fire a handgun at an intruder], the bottom line is, according to the laws of Canada, no, you can’t,” Constable Nilan Dave of the Niagara Regional Police Service, which charged Mr. Thomson, told the Post. “That’s why the courts are there, to give a person an opportunity to explain their actions.”

Burlew does think the court will side with Thomson and will recognize he was simply defending himself, but he believes the charges, and the process, is ridiculous.

“I’m sure that will be recognized at trial, but why would a citizen, where it’s so obvious that what he was doing was protecting himself during a continued attack, be put to the expense of a trial?“ he wondered aloud to the Post ”It’s demeaning.”

Even more baffling is that no one was hurt by Thomson’s actions and the attackers were eventually caught and charged. Still, Thomson’s case is just one example of Canadian citizens being charged after defending their property, the Post says:

Mr. Thomson’s is the latest in a series of high-profile cases in which people have been charged after defending their homes and businesses against criminals. Central Alberta farmer Brian Knight became a local hero after shooting a thief who was trying to steal his ATV. He pleaded guilty to criminal negligence earlier this month. In October, Toronto shopkeeper David Chen was acquitted of forcible confinement charges after he tied up a repeat shoplifter and demanded he stop raiding his grocery store.

Police are still unsure what prompted the attack.

“This is just an absolute nightmare, this whole thing,” Thomson told the Post. “People need to know that this is what can happen to you and which side of the victim line do you want to stand on? Lying down dead or in court? That’s the way it seems it has to go.”

MONTREAL – Are Prozac-popping fish present in the water supply?

That’s the surprising question raised in a study by the Universite de Montreal’s chemistry department.

The study found a significant quantity of anti-depressants in the water supply around the city, affecting the fishes’ tissue and brain activity.

It says the phenomenon is likely found around many cities in the world because Montreal has a typical sewage-treatment system.

Studies show that one in four Montrealers are on some kind of anti-depressant.

200 starlings found dead but this time there's no mystery: U.S. government admits poisoning birds in South Dakota

The bizarre trend of massed animal deaths around the world in January has been as baffling as it is disturbing.

It started on New Year's Eve as 4,000 birds crashed to earth over a one-mile area of Beebe, Arkansas, and was followed by tens of thousands of fish washing up on a river bank in nearby Ozark.

But rather than proving to be isolated incidents, they were the first in a long series of oddities that have seemingly defied explanation - or at least some of them have.

South Dakota: Dead birds litter the ground but the USDA has claimed responsibility for poisoning them

Shock: The USDA was surprised the poisoned birds managed to fly 10 miles

Plummet: The birds fell from the sky and plugged straight into the snowy ground

The latest occurrence saw around 200 starlings drop from the sky in Yankton, South Dakota but, with local authorities were baffled, the government stepped forward to claim responsibility.

It was initially believed that cold weather may have caused the deaths, but then Yankton police received a call from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), stating that its officials had poisoned the birds.

Some 5,000 of the birds had been terrorising a feedlot 10 miles away, defecating in the feed meal and posing a threat to the animals and farm workers.

The location: Yankton, South Dakota

The USDA decided killing them would be the best action to take and laced bait with the poison DRC-1339.

Officials were surprised the birds made it so far before dying, but they have assured the townsfolk that the poisoned dead birds do not pose a risk to nearby animals or humans.

The Yankton mystery was solved quickly but many similar incidents remain unresolved.

Arkansas: Redwing blackbird fell from the sky in the town of Beebe

The plot thickens: Rescue chief Christer Olofsson holds a dead bird in Falkoping, Sweden, where dozens of jackdaws were found dead on the street

Mass bird deaths, ranging in numbers from dozens to thousands, were reported in Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, California, Italy and Sweden.

Mass fish death have been reported in Arkansas, Maryland, Chicago, New Zealand and Brazil.

The trend has also hit Britain with 40,000 devil crabs washing ashore along the Kent coast while hundreds of fish were found floating lifelessly in a Greater Manchester pond.

Both those British examples were attributed to extreme temperatures in a very cold winter, and some of the U.S. incidents have also been explained away.

The deaths of two hundred cows on a farm in Wisconsin has been attributed to pneumonia or a similar disease, while the deaths of thousands of turtle in the Italian town of Faenza was attributed to over-eating.

Other rational theories floated for the various incidents but much of it is guesswork and in any vacuum of facts conspiracy theorists are sure to tread.

On the website PrisonPlanet.com, run by American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, dug out evidence of bio terrorism.

Quoting a 1997 interview with former U.S. Defense Secretary William Cohen, in which he stated: '[Terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism, whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.'

The truth is out there: But perhaps aliens are not really to blame

Members of internet forum Mayhem Makers brought aliens into the argument, with one poster called 'Devil Johnny', writing: 'I'm not saying the alien conspiracy is true, but I'm saying people need to start thinking on their own. You believe anything a man in a suit tells you.'

Even Mayhem Makers pessimists got in on the act when another poster, 'Woll Smoth', said: '2012 is coming earlier', referring to the ancient Mayan prophecy that the world will end on December 21, 2012.

But while it is easy to dismiss the conspiracy theorists, some are closer to the mark than others.

Alex Jones of PrisonPlanet.com posed the question 'could secret government testing be responsible for the carnage?'

He said: 'Electromagnetic scalar weapons that can artificially manipulate the environment could be responsible for the mass die offs. We know for a fact that over a decade ago the U.S.

'Military Industrial Complex was aware of and involved in the testing of such technology.

'The U.S. government has been repeatedly caught engaging in illegal bio-weapons tests over American skies that have maimed and killed not just animals, but humans.

'Given the history of governments across the world performing unwitting experiments on their populations, the number one suspect in such cases should always be government.'

As the conspiracy nuts would say, 'just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they aren't watching you'.
