| Lawyers to anti-Chick-fil-A mayors: Make my day |
Mayors
around the country, who have been scoring points with their leftist
political base by threatening to use the power of their office to punish
Chick-fil-A restaurants for the religious beliefs followed by the
company's chief, may soon have to decide if they want to play a game of
chicken ... legal chicken.
Attorneys sympathetic to the Christian-owned company have a bone to pick ... and they say the plucking will be easy.
Would you like fries with your lawsuit?

Oppose S. 3414, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012
The Senate could move anytime on S. 3414, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012, and I hope you’ll contact your senators to urge them to oppose cloture right away.
Although Senate leadership has tweaked the bill due to the massive outpouring of grassroots criticism they’ve received this past year over previous Internet legislation, S. 3414 will still be a rushed product, as both parties are negotiating final details – right before the vote.
The American people deserve to know what’s in S. 3414 before their senators vote on further consideration, especially when it comes to an issue as important as our freedoms online.
As it stands, S. 3414 would create yet another government bureaucracy (a “National Cybersecurity Council”), and it could guarantee companies engage in more invasions of our privacy.
So click here to find your senators’ information. Since the vote could come at any time, please call right away to urge them to oppose cloture on S. 3414!
In Liberty,
Matt Hawes
Vice President
P.S. The Senate is expected to hold a cloture vote soon on S. 3414, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012, and final details will likely continue to be worked out on the bill right up until the vote.
The American people deserve to know everything that will be in this legislation before it moves on for further consideration.
So please contact your senators right away to urge them to oppose cloture on S. 3414 and allow their constituents time to look over the final bill.
As always, if you’re able at this time, you can help C4L expand our efforts to protect liberty on all fronts by chipping in $10 or $20.
Two blacks drowned white child in boiling water

Two young black males gagged a crying
12-year old white boy and afterwards drowned him in a bath filled with
boiling water. The accused yesterday admitted guilt to the murder with
smiles as they appeared in the Vereeniging regional court, reports the
Johannesburg Afrikaans daily, Beeld.
In a typical South African
black-on-white atrocity, the boy and his entire family were massacred on
1 October 2011 in Walkerville, south of Johannesburg. Amaro Jose Viana,
of Portuguese descent, his mother Geraldine (42) and father Tony (53)
were killed in an attack by the family’s gardener Petrus Radebe (24),
Sipho Mbele (21) and Sphiwe David Motaung (20). A fourth black person, a
minor whose name was not published and appartently the son of Petrus
Radebe, also participated in the attack. All four admitted their guilt
on all charges against them.
According to the accused, “we mutually
raped Geraldine Viana”. Sipho Mbele raped her first while Petrus Radebe
helped to restrain her by standing on her face. Afterwards Radebe raped
her too.
Beeld reports that Charmaine Castleman,
an attorney appearing for the accused, read a statement in court
explaining that the three men burgled the Viana residence to rob them of
their possessions and “to get Geraldine Viana back” for the way she had
treated them.
The white family’s dog apparently barked tremendously during the burglary. The animal was killed by disembowelling him.
According to Beeld’s court reporter,
12-year-old Amaro’s dad Tony Viana first arrived at the burgled home.
The three black men attacked him from behind with a machete and a golf
club, after which he was forced to unlock the family safe. He was then
tied up.
The boy and his mother arrived later and
were tied up in separate rooms. Then the raping started. When Radebe
and Mbele had finished raping Geraldine, Mbele placed a cushion over her
face to muffle her screams and shot her with a pistol obtained from her
husband.
The accused stated: “Afterwards Sipho
took the gun and shot Tony in the head.” Mbele and Radebe then went to
Amaro’s room and realised that the boy would be able to recognise them.

“We went to the bathroom and turned on
the tap. We went to fetch him and gagged him because he was crying. We
forced him into the bath face down, knowing that he would drown.”
From forensic evidence tendered in
court, it was clear that the boy was held down in boiling water. The
exact cause of his death has however not yet been determined by state
pathologists. The boy’s hands and feet were tied.
The accused will be sentenced on 6
September. As the death penalty was abolished in South Africa, they will
probably get lengthy prison sentences but could be out on parole within
five to ten years.
The vast majority of South Africans,
black and white, support the reinstatement of the death penalty, but the
liberal Constitutional Court has stated that it would be
unconstitutional. The ruling ANC and liberal opposition DA are also
opposed to the death penalty.
A search of South African newswires in
English for this story has returned an empty result. Until now, only
Beeld has reported on the court appearance of the three murderers – in
Afrikaans, which is only spoken in South Africa, although easily
comprehensible to Dutch-speakers.
The next step in Repealing ObamaCare
With the help of tens of thousands of petitions from NPLA members and other pro-lifers, just this month the House of Representatives by an overwhelming vote of 244-185 passed a repeal of ObamaCare.
But now that the ball will be in the Senate's court, the real battle begins.
With countless provisions for taxpayer funding of abortion, including $7 billion alone appropriated to the abortion giant, Planned Parenthood under the guise of "community health centers" there is no way to "fix" ObamaCare but to repeal it.
That's why I hope you will act immediately by signing your Repeal ObamaCare petition that I'll link to in just a moment.
You see, up until now, Harry Reid and his pro-abortion cronies in the Senate have been able to put a halt on any pro-life legislation that passes the House.
In fact, most pro-life bills don't even make it to the floor of the Senate, instead getting silently killed in committee with Reid's nod of approval.
But despite what Harry Reid may like to think, the Senate is not a monarchy -- and he's not the king.
If you haven't already heard of it, let me introduce you to two little rules that Harry doesn't particularly want you to know about.
Rules 14 and 22.
By introducing a bill under rule 14, any Senator can effectively bypass the committees and require the bill to be put on the schedule for a floor vote.
All it needs is one Senator to take a stand.
After that first Senator takes action as Majority leader Senator Reid would have the option to schedule a vote at any time.
But of course, you and I know that Harry Reid will not schedule such a vote voluntarily.
And that's where rule 22 comes in.
Rule 22 would force Senator Reid to actually schedule the vote for a time certain.
And what we have to do to make him do that is get 16 senators to sign a petition demanding a cloture vote.
Senators Rand Paul of Kentucky and Jim DeMint of South Carolina are already committed to leading the charge in the Senate.
But they can't do it alone.
Which is why it's critically important that you and I back them up immediately by signing your petition to your two Senators as well as Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell.
And once you've signed your petition, please consider chipping in to help National Pro-Life Alliance get this message out to hundreds of thousands of other pro-lifers.
Just by forcing the vote it will be a win-win for the unborn.
Either the Senate votes to repeal ObamaCare or another pack of pro-abortion Senators go down to defeat this November.
You see, all the polls show that a large majority of Americans oppose both ObamaCare and taxpayer funding of abortion in general.
So it's vital you and every other pro-lifer show your Senators that they can either do the right thing right now, or face the political consequences in the coming election.
Already we have gotten this message out to more than 3,000,000 pro-lifers with a goal of at least 1,000,000 petitions, but I can't do so without your help.
So after you sign your petition, please help out with a contribution of $15, $25, $50, $100 or even $500 to help National Pro-Life Alliance continue its efforts to end taxpayer funding of abortion and ultimately abortion-on-demand.
But whatever you do, please click here to sign your petition.
For Life,
Martin Fox, President
National Pro-Life Alliance
P.S. With enough pressure from pro-lifers, you and I can help Senator Rand Paul and Senator DeMint to put the measure to repeal ObamaCare on the floor. Please click here to sign your petition immediately.
In order to get this vital information out to up to one million more pro-lifers, I'm going to need your help.
So please chip in with a contribution of $15, $25, $50, $100 or even $500 after signing your petition to help NPLA mobilize hundreds of thousands of others.
