Another Study Links Low Vitamin D To Cardiovascular Disease

John Cannell, M.D., has compiled information on two studies that seem to show that Vitamin D is the missing link in patients with cardiovascular disease.

Writing in his Vitamin D Council blog, Cannell looked at a study done by researchers at Hull York Medical School in England on two of the most commonly prescribed statin drugs: Lipitor (atorvastatin) and Zocor (simvastatin). Both lower cholesterol equally and both are used to prevent cardiovascular disease.  More »
