“For the first time since the election, I actually have some hope.” That’s what one long-time conservative said to me after Senator Rand Paul’s 13-hour filibuster last week. Paul’s dramatic gesture had conservatives, libertarians and even many on the left cheering his principled stand. More »

Senator Can Save Us $200 Billion

Waste and duplication in Federal budget. Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) says that he and his staff have identified more than $200 billion worth of cuts that can be made in the Federal budget just by eliminating waste and duplication. During an appearance on “Meet the Press,” he promised: “I can show them all the things, the stupid things, they’ve done over the last two years that we can stop doing.” Don’t hold your breath waiting for them to ask you, Senator. More »

Allen West: “Deeds, not words, will paint this country red.”

I suspect Allen West knows that a line like “Deeds, and not words, will paint this country red from California coast to the rocky shores” will be seized by liberals as some kind of bloody threat. I doubt it bothers … Continue reading

Possible Attack in USA?: In rarity, Obama, VP Biden may be out of U.S. at same time next week

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - For security reasons, the U.S. president and vice president rarely venture abroad at the same time. But events next week may compel both Barack Obama and Joe Biden to be out of the country on the same day, at least for a matter of hours.

President Obama leaves on Tuesday night on a trip to Israel, the West Bank and Jordan. Earlier on Tuesday, Vice President Biden will be attending ceremonies in Rome surrounding the installation of new Pope Francis.

What is uncertain is whether Biden will be back in the United States by the time Obama departs on his trip. His official schedule has not been released.

Ben Rhodes, the White House deputy national security adviser, said he did not know for certain whether both Obama and Biden would be out of the country at the same time.

"We do take those considerations into account and do prudent planning to ensure that we are prepared for any contingencies and we often seek to coordinate their travel for that purpose," Rhodes told reporters.

Why Liberals Hate Conspiracy Theories
Remnant Review I wrote an article on Austrian School economist Murray Rothbard. I argued that one of the reasons why tenured Austrian School economists want to distance themselves from him, is his writings on conspiracies in American history. Rothbard was quite clear about his commitment to apply Austrian economics' theories of human action to the... READ MORE

Junk Bonds Soar in Price as Investors Seek Higher Rates
Junk bonds are high-risk bonds. They are rated CCC — barely above default status. They pay higher interest rates because there is risk of default. You may not get your money back. Bonds are always at risk, because interest rates can rise. When long-term rates rise, the market value of the bonds falls. In times ... READ MORE

CPAC 2013: Senator Rand Paul

CPAC returned to its pro-Family roots

Please enable images

Public Advocate will be returning again to CPAC this year.

And I am proud to say the pro-Family victory there is holding strong.
You see, in 2011, CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) decided to “expand the tent” by welcoming in radical homosexuals and immoral organizations who claimed to be conservative.

Public Advocate led the charge in protesting and boycotting the major political event until they reversed this decision.

Last year, CPAC returned to its pro-Family roots and welcomed Public Advocate back inside.

And in the aftermath of our protest, we've seen a dramatic shift.

Public Advocate staff manning the booth at CPAC

Pro-Family participants accounted for 19% of the total attendance.

And pro-Family speakers like Sarah Palin were given the chance to speak up for traditional values and real marriage.

Pro-Family groups manned over 100 booths and directly greeted more than 10,000 people.

And I am so proud to report that we will be returning again this weekend.

Public Advocate and the pro-Family Movement will be playing a prominent role in this year’s CPAC, despite the aggressive campaign the Homosexual Lobby has waged against us over the past six months.

Thank you for all your hard work.

Without you and hundreds of thousands of other pro-Family supporters, Public Advocate would be left powerless.

For the Family,

Eugene Delgaudio
President, Public Advocate of the United States

P.S. Please consider chipping in with a donation of $10 or more to help fund Public Advocate's fight for traditional values.
