Obama spends tax dollars for forced abortions

National Pro-Life Alliance

So, how do you feel about paying for women to choose to abort their baby?

Now, how do you feel about paying for women to be forced to abort their baby?

Unbelievable!

Well it's true. Not only do we American taxpayers fund abortions here at home with our taxes, we also send millions and millions of dollars to China to subsidize their horrific one-child policy, by way of the so-called United Nations Population Fund.

You'd think that with all of the public outcry last year about the Chinese activist, Chen Guangcheng, we would hear more about China's grossly inhumane policy.

Instead, ABC, NBC, CBS and other mainstream news outlets avoided the issue like the plague.

Because talking about the ills of abortion might bring to light that the abortion industry in America would like to steer us ever closer to China's abhorrent policy. . .

. . . And would bring up all of that U.S. money involved in abortions here and overseas.

You see, in 2010, backed by his pro-abortion majority in both houses of Congress, President Obama showered the UNFPA with $55 million dollars of our tax money.

And his most recent budget inked in $47 million of our already stretched tax dollars to go to forced Chinese abortions.

Does this make any sense? – Aren't we already up to our ears in debt to the Chinese government -- to the tune of $1.16 TRILLION dollars?

And now, the president who arranged all of this, the one who has been showering abortion providers both here in our own backyards and abroad will be inaugurated tomorrow for another whopping four years in office.

And I have no doubt that the next four years will be more of the same -- unless you and I stop him.

But there is hope on the horizon.

The House of Congress where pro-lifers have the most control is the one that holds the power of the purse -- the House of Representatives.

And in fact, in early 2011, after pro-lifers won back the House of Representatives, the battle to cut taxpayer funding of abortions began in earnest with the House of Representatives passing the Pence Amendment that would cut off all federal funding of abortion.

Click here to sign your petition to the new, 113th Congress, to stop all taxpayer funding of abortion.

In the last election, pro-lifers actually picked up additional pledged support in the House to fight against taxpayer funding of abortion.

But without action from pro-lifers, wavering politicians may cave to the demands of the abortion lobby, so please click here to sign your petition.

‘Quadruple helix’ DNA seen in human cells

Cambridge University scientists say they have seen four-stranded DNA at work in human cells for the first time. The famous “molecule of life”, which carries our genetic code, is more familiar to us as a double helix. But researchers tell the journal Nature Chemistry that the “quadruple helix” is also present in our cells, and often in functions related to cancer. They suggest that control of the structures could provide novel ways to fight the disease.

“The existence of these structures may be loaded when the cell has a certain genotype or a certain dysfunctional state,” said Prof Shankar Balasubramanian from Cambridge’s department of chemistry. “We need to prove that; but if that is the case, targeting them with synthetic molecules could be an interesting way of selectively targeting those cells that have this dysfunction,” he told BBC News.

Tag and track – It will be exactly 60 years ago in February that James Watson and Francis Crick famously burst into the pub next to their Cambridge laboratory to announce the discovery of the “secret of life”. What they had actually done was describe the way in which two long chemical chains wound up around each other to encode the information cells need to build and maintain our bodies.

Today, the pair’s modern counterparts in the university city continue to work on DNA’s complexities. Balasubramanian’s group has been pursuing a four-stranded version of the molecule that scientists have produced in the test tube now for a number of years. It is called the G-quadruplex. The “G” refers to guanine, one of the four chemical groups, or “bases”, that hold DNA together and which encode our genetic information (the others being adenine, cytosine, and thymine).

The G-quadruplex seems to form in DNA where guanine exists in substantial quantities. And although ciliates, relatively simply microscopic organisms, have displayed evidence for the incidence of such DNA, the new research is said to be the first to firmly pinpoint the quadruple helix in human cells.

The team, led by Giulia Biffi, a researcher in Balasubramaninan’s lab, produced antibody proteins that were designed specifically to track down and bind to regions of human DNA that were rich in the quadruplex structure. The antibodies were tagged with a fluorescence marker so that the time and place of the structures’ emergence in the cell cycle could be noted and imaged. This revealed the four-stranded DNA arose most frequently during the so-called “s-phase” when a cell copies its DNA just prior to dividing.

Prof Balasubramaninan said that was of key interest in the study of cancers, which were usually driven by genes, or oncogenes, that had mutated to increase DNA replication. If the G-quadruplex could be implicated firmly in the development of some cancers, it might be possible, he said, to make synthetic molecules that contained the structure and blocked the runaway cell proliferation at the root of tumours.

“We’ve come a long way in 10 years, from simple ideas to really seeing some substance in the existence and tractability of targeting these funny structures,” he told the BBC. “I’m hoping now that the pharmaceutical companies will bring this on to their radar and we can perhaps take a more serious look at whether quadruplexes are indeed therapeutically viable targets.” Via ‘Quadruple helix’ DNA seen in human cells.

China poised to play debt card – for U.S. land

You've always been concerned about this, and now the fear could be turning into reality.

Here's the unnerving plan China has when it comes to grabbing American land (that is, if we can still call it AMERICAN land) ...

Communist nation could control American land as 'development zones'

EDITOR’S NOTE: Barack Obama’s involvement in the DeMar Second Amendment case was previously reported in Chapter 7 of Jerome R. Corsi’s “America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty.”

NEW YORK – Could real estate on American soil owned by China be set up as “development zones” in which the communist nation could establish Chinese-owned businesses and bring in its citizens to the U.S. to work?

That’s part of an evolving proposal Beijing has been developing quietly since 2009 to convert more than $1 trillion of U.S debt it owns into equity.

Under the plan, China would own U.S. businesses, U.S. infrastructure and U.S. high-value land, all with a U.S. government guarantee against loss.

Yu Qiao, a professor of economics in the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsighua University in Beijing, proposed in 2009 a plan for the U.S. government to guarantee foreign investments in the United States.

WND has reliable information that the Bank of China, China’s central bank, has continued to advance the plan to convert China’s holdings of U.S. debt into equity owned by China in the U.S.

The Obama administration, under the plan, would grant a financial guarantee as an inducement for China to convert U.S. debt into Chinese direct equity investment. China would take ownership of successful U.S. corporations, potentially profitable infrastructure projects and high-value U.S. real estate.

Jerome Corsi exposes the globalists’ plan to put America on the chopping block in “America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty,” available at WND’s Superstore.

The plan would be designed to induce China to resume lending to the U.S. on a nearly zero-interest basis.

However, converting Chinese debt to equity investments in the United States could easily add another $1 trillion to outstanding Obama administration guarantees issued in the current economic crisis.
As of November 2012, China owned $1.17 trillion in U.S. Treasury securities, according to U.S. Department of Treasury and Federal Reserve Board calculations published Jan. 16.

Concerned about the unrestrained growth in U.S. debt under the Obama administration, China has reduced by 97 percent its holdings in short-term U.S. Treasury bills. China’s holding of $573.7 billion in August 2008, prior to the massive bank bailouts and stimulus programs triggered by the collapse in the U.S. mortgage market, dwindled to $5.96 billion by March 2011.

Treasury bills are short-term debt that matures in one year or less, sold to finance U.S. debt. Holdings of Treasury bills are included in the $1.17 trillion of total Treasury securities owned by China as of November 2012.

In addition to a national debt in excess of $16 trillion, the U.S. government in 2010 faced over $70 trillion in unfunded obligations, including Social Security and Medicare benefits scheduled to be paid retiring baby boomer retirees in the coming decades, with unfunded obligations showing no sign of being reduced with Congress at a deadlock over reducing federal government spending.

Yu Qiao observed that if the U.S. dollar collapsed under the weight of proposed Obama administration trillion-dollar budget deficits into the foreseeable future, holders of U.S. debt would face substantial losses that the Financial Times estimated “would devastate Asians’ hard-earned wealth and terminate economic globalization.”

“The basic idea is to turn Asian savings, China’s in particular, into real business interests rather than let them be used to support U.S. over-consumption,” Yu Qiao wrote, reflecting themes commonly suggested by Chinese government officials. “While fixed-income securities are vulnerable to any fall in the value of the dollar, equity claims on sound corporations and infrastructure projects are at less risk from a currency default,” he continued.

The problem is that, in a struggling U.S. economy, China does not want to trade its investment in U.S. Treasury debt securities, with their inherent risk of dollar devaluation, for equally risky investments in U.S. corporations and infrastructure projects.

“But Asians do not want to bear the risk of this investment because of market turbulence and a lack of knowledge of cultural, legal and regulatory issues in U.S. businesses,” he stressed. “However if a guarantee scheme were created, Asian savers could be willing to invest directly in capital-hungry U.S. industries.”

Yu Qiao’s plan included four components:
  1. China would negotiate with the U.S. government to create a “crisis relief facility,” or CRF. The CRF “would be used alongside U.S. federal efforts to stabilize the banking system and to invest in capital-intensive infrastructure projects such as high-speed railroad from Boston to Washington, D.C.
  2. China would pool a portion of its holdings of Treasury bonds under the CFR umbrella to convert sovereign debt into equity. Any CFR funds that were designated for investment in U.S. corporations would still be owned and managed by U.S. equity holders, with the Asians holding minority equity shares “that would, like preferred stock, be convertible.”
  3. The U.S. government would act as a guarantor, “providing a sovereign guarantee scheme to assure the investment principal of the CRF against possible default of targeted companies or projects”.
  4. The Federal Reserve would set up a special account to supply the liquidity the CRF would require to swap sovereign debt into industrial investment in the United States.
“The CRF would lessen Asians’ concern about implicit default of sovereign debts caused by a collapsing dollar,” Yu Qiao concluded. “It would cost little and help the U.S. by channeling funds to business investment.”

Homeless Man Choked To Death By Store Manager For Stealing Toothpaste

CVS – the once thought of drug and convenience store will now be known as the store that defends its manager’s rights to kill shoplifters…even those that are caught taking a single tube of toothpaste. Death for toothpaste. Would anyone ever exchange $5.00 toothpaste tube for their life?

This incident occurred in Chicago back in 2010.  A homeless man, Anthony Kyser was choked to death after a pharmacy manager chased him out of a CVS store for stealing toothpaste….and today, the chilling video of the incident has surfaced.

The grainy surveillance video from the alley near the Little Village CVS was obtained from a source by DNAinfo.com Chicago. The video shows Kyser being surrounded by the CVS manager and several other people who were helping the manager hit, kick, and pile on top of the already subdued man.

Charges were never brought up against Pedro as the police originally stated, “The video was reviewed by detectives as part of their investigation at the time,” Chicago Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Maureen Biggane said. “It was determined that criminal charges were not warranted.”

Hmmm… a man steals a tube of toothpaste, he’s killed, and that doesn’t warrant further investigation or charges?

Anthony Kyser was a 35-year old homeless man who had a family, and that family is seeking some justice. Anthony’s mother, Ann Marie Kyser, filed a lawsuit claiming the store manager committed battery and that CVS is liable. That case is still pending in Cook County Circuit Court, with an outcome not likely to make anyone happy.

Jack Kennedy, an attorney with Cochran, Cherry, Givens, Smith & Montgomery, the law firm representing Kyser’s mother said:
I think it’s appalling that CVS maintains that an employee can choke someone to death if they steal from a CVS store.
A CVS spokesman would only tell DNAinfo.com that the company does not comment on pending litigation.

However, through his attorney, Villanova acknowledges he “held onto Anthony Kyser on the ground while defending himself after being struck,” according to court records. The video shows no strike to Pedro.

In court filings, Villanova acknowledges his “arm came into contact with decedent Anthony Kyser’s throat” and he heard Kyser say “I can’t breathe.”

Soon after Kyser’s death, an outraged U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, a Chicago Democrat, sent a letter to Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez demanding action for the “brutality visited upon a homeless man.”

Rush now says his “calls for justice” were not heeded. Now, after being shown the video by DNAinfo.com, he said he hopes its release will reopen the investigation.
Watch the surveillance video below:

Now, I am not saying that it’s okay for anyone to steal…and this man should have been punished accordingly. But I don’t think that stealing toothpaste warrants the punishment that he ended up receiving.  I am shocked that anyone would say that this video is proof of self defense. What this video shows is a total lack of respect for this man’s life. When did toothpaste become more valuable than anyone’s life? This video is representative of how ugly human being are becoming.  People stood around and watched this person being murdered and did nothing to save his life.  That’s just sad.

"I Have A Dream" more like a nightmare!

I just did a one up on Martin Luther Kings "I Have A Dream".

I had a dream that the government was setting this Country up for a reality TV show which is a house of horrors, run by the guys from the movies: Jackass, Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
