Given the suddenness of Leo’s death, the holidays, taking care of immediate issues, and dealing with personal grief, I needed a reasonable amount of time to work through all of this. My life has been forever changed. I deeply appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as I quietly fought to gather the strength required to pick up the pieces with my precious daughter, Cierra.
  Heartfelt thanks to each of you who took time to send a card, write an email, or make a phone call. Each one has meant so much to me. I’ve also read hundreds of facebook postings and numerous other memorial blogs. Each has been a great source of comfort and encouragement knowing I’m not alone in the sorrow resulting from Leo’s death. The pain has been deep, but I’m grateful the love and support has been even deeper.

Even though his voice has been quieted, his message lives on and is more vital than ever.
