Black Bishop Calls For All Christians To Leave Democratic Party

Bishop Earl Walker Jackson Sr. (E.W. Jackson) has issued a plea for all Christians to leave the Democratic Party.

 

Like Barack Obama, Jackson is a graduate of Harvard Law School.  Unlike Obama, Jackson served in the U.S. Marine Corps and knows what it really means to serve your country.  Following law school, he was a practicing attorney for 15 years in Boston.  During his time in Boston, he served as chaplain for the Boston Red Sox for 5 years and as a Protestant chaplain for the Boston fire department.  He was involved with The Samaritan Project to help churches that had been damaged by arson.  In 1998, Jackson was ordained as a bishop and head of Exodus Faith Ministries in Chesapeake, Virginia.

In 2009, Bishop Jackson launched a national grassroots organization aimed at restoring America’s Judeo-Christian foundations.  S.T.A.N.D. (Staying True to America’s National Destiny) is dedicated to restoring the faith, values and Christian culture that America once had but has since lost.  Earlier this year, Jackson ran for U.S. Senate in the Virginia primary, but was soundly defeated by fellow Republican George Allen.

In his plea for Christians to make an exodus from the Democratic Party, Jackson refers to the Party as cult-like and cites the following reasons for his statement and actions:

• Pro-abortion
• Rejection of biblical family model and values
• Open hostility to anyone who expresses their Christian values including Dan Cathy of Chick-fil-A and Olympic gold medal gymnast Gabby Douglas
• Actions taken against cities and towns for displaying crosses at memorials
• Actions taken against anyone who invokes the name of Jesus during prayers at official events

Jackson expressed his disappointment in the way journalist Mary Elizabeth Williams with Salon.com wrote about Gabby Douglas’s tribute to God.  Williams wrote:

“I’ve often wondered what it is about Christians like Douglas that unnerves me so … Douglas and her ilk seem to espouse a faith based on what is commonly referred to as ‘The God of Parking Spaces.’”

When the Democratic Party officially endorsed same-sex marriage, Jackson said:
“They will be saying, ‘We don’t care what you think, what you believe, or what the Bible or the God of the Bible says. We know better than God.’”

This has led him send the following message to all Christians in America:
“The Democrat Party has turned its back on Christians. It is time to turn our backs on the Democrat Party.”

So here we have one black Harvard law grad telling the other Harvard law grad that he has turned his back on God and that it’s time Christians turn their back on him and the rest of his progressive liberals.  I hope and pray that the message would reach every Christian and that they follow Bishop Jackson’s plea.

Federal Court Blocks Most of Georgia & Alabama's Anti-Immigrant Laws

A federal appeals court today blocked key provisions of Alabama and Georgia's anti-immigrant laws. Significantly, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit found that section 28 of Alabama's law which requires the immigration verification of newly enrolled K – 12 students, violates the Equal Protection Clause and could interfere with children's constitutional right to education. The court also blocked the registration and contracts provisions found in Alabama's law, HB 56. In Georgia, the court determined that a section criminalizing transporting or harboring of immigrants was not permissible.

In both Georgia and Alabama, the court issued a narrow ruling allowing the "show me your papers" provisions of HB 56 and HB 87 to remain in or go into effect, but leaving open the possibility of future challenges on civil rights or due process grounds.

"We are pleased that this ruling has sent a strong message to Alabama and other states that they cannot enact hate-filled laws to try to drive an entire class of people from their borders," said Mary Bauer, legal director for the SPLC. "We are thrilled that students returning to schools this week will return to safer and more welcoming environments. We will continue to challenge the provisions left in place because, as we have already seen in Alabama, these laws cannot be enforced without racial profiling."

"Today's decisions should send a strong message that state attempts to criminalize immigrants and their loved ones will not be tolerated," said Marielena Hincapié, executive director of the National Immigration Law Center. "Alabamian children can now start the new school year without fear that their citizenship will be questioned, and Georgians can continue to give neighbors and friends a ride without first asking for their "papers." Although we are disappointed that the racial profiling provisions of Alabama and Georgia's law have not been blocked, we will continue to fight them both within and outside the courtroom."

Omar Jadwat, senior staff attorney with the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project, said: "The court today rejected many parts of Alabama and Georgia's anti-immigrant laws, including attempts to criminalize everyday interactions with undocumented immigrants and Alabama's callous attempt to deprive some children of their constitutional right to education. The court explicitly left the door open to further challenges against the "show me your papers" provision, which we will continue to fight in order to protect people's constitutional rights."

The coalition includes the Southern Poverty Law Center, the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Immigration Law Center, the ACLU of Georgia, MALDEF, the ACLU of Alabama, the Asian Law Caucus, and the Asian American Justice Center.

Catholic Democrat Governor Prays to Allah During Ramadan

Roman Catholic Illinois Governor Pat Quinn took time out recently to do some Islamic praying on Ramadan as thousands of Chicago-area Muslims gathered in Bridgeview on Sunday to observe the end of the Muslim celebration of Ramadan.

The governor used the occasion to sign a bill that will allow university students who have religious holiday conflicts with tests or assignments to ask for and receive alternate assignments.
The Sun Times reports,

Gov. Quinn also decried recent attacks against local Muslims, citing a shooting at a Morton Grove mosque, an attack on an Islamic school in Lombard and the desecration of a grave in an Evergreen Park cemetery.

“These are un-American acts,” he said. “The people of Illinois, all 13 million, abhor anyone who would commit these serious acts of violence as a violation of our constitution.”

The governor called religious freedom “The most American and fundamental freedom that we have in our country,” and said “The First Amendment of our constitution says that everyone, everyone has the right to practice their religion and their faith without fear of intimidation.”

My fellow Americans, with things taking place like this in our land it should be a wake up call to Christians everywhere. Here is an American leader praying with Muslims. We should be very concerned in this nation.

Our own Department of Homeland Security is not really looking for Islamists as terrorists and in fact it seems that Governor Quinn doesn’t consider them a threat at all. DHS is looking for those who love freedom, uphold the Constitution, are religious in their convictions, are considered “right wing extremists,” are tea party patriots. Yet there is no mention of Muslims or Islam, which is the group of individuals allegedly responsible for all the terrorist attacks that have taken place over the past two decades.

Then we have incidents where Islam has taken over entire towns like Dearborn, Michigan and the police are even scared to deal with them as they hurl insults and objects at people who simply stand and hold signs attempting to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. They are rapidly growing in Tampa, Florida.

Not only that, but we now have Muslims in Congress, like Andre Carson, who say we should mold the public school system after the madrassas in Islam and sadly such men are getting bigger cash support then their opponents.

Our government makes excuses for Christians being killed by Muslims and what’s worse is our government attacks those who try and warn people of just how infiltrated our government is by the Muslim Brotherhood.

We even have the possibility that our Secretary of State’s chief deputy adviser, Huma Abedin, is linked into the Muslim Brotherhood and nothing is done.

Now we have a governor who claims to be Roman Catholic who is videoed praying with Muslims as they chant, “Allahu Ackbar.” This is the same phraseology shouted by the Ft. Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan when he opened fire on our troops!

The video of the governor praying with Muslims is disgusting and sickening. Political pandering as though what he’s doing means nothing except political expediency, but it does. It means that we are heading for Sharia law in this country unless we have men of conscience and backbone take a stand.
By the way, for you people in Illinois who put him into office. You can remove him in 2014. America would be grateful.
