Tornado and storm watches

Accuweather.com meteorologist Brian Edwards said local law enforcement reported a tornado on the ground in Emigsville around 8:30 p.m.

While the report hasn't been substantiated. Edwards said it was reported to be moving northeast as the tornado warning continued until about 9 p.m. Someone from the National Weather Service will be coming to the area to look at the damage, he added.

A tornado watch expired at 11 p.m., and Edwards said there will only be another 10th of an inch of rain tonight.

Power outages

Met-Ed reports about 7,400 customers are without power in York County, and crews are working to restore power, according to spokeswoman Kathy Seilhamer.

The majority are in the York, Dover and Glen Rock area.

More sporadic outages are in Brodbecks, Emigsville, Felton, Glenville, Hanover, Seven Valleys, Spring Grove, Stewartstown and Thomasville.

Tractor-trailer overturned by wind

At the same time the tornado was reported, a gust of wind toppled a tractor-trailer on Interstate 83 near Arsenal Road, according to state police.

The driver was not injured, but was trapped inside for awhile until emergency personnel arrived, police said.

Gas leaks, mall damage

Also during the storm, the glass skylight at the West Manchester Mall was torn off, and crashed, according to several witnesses.

The skylight blew off at the West Manchester Mall during the storm Saturday night.
(SUBMITTED)

Moments later, a natural gas leaks was reported there and at the Northgate Shopping Center.

The mall, as well as Walmart, have been evacuated.

Traffic lights at several major intersections are also out as of 9:15 p.m. Police were attempting to direct traffic at Route 30 and Roosevelt Avenue as well as at Route 30 and Whiteford Road in Springesttsbury Township.

Flooding, roads blocked

The storm flooded several roads throughout the county, and there were reports of trees and other materials blocking the roads, according to the York County Office of Emergency Management.

The extent of the damage is unclear, and the office will be tracking it through the night and into the morning, said spokesman Carl Lindquist.

Trees blew over in front of parked cars at the West Manchester Mall.
(SUBMITTED)

Those who have sustained significant damage should call their local municipal officials.

Twitter user @tterb_reknels tweeted this picture from inside West Manchester Mall after the storm went through.

Earlier reports

A series of thunderstorms blasted through York County Saturday night and produced conditions that might have spawned a tornado, the National Weather Service said.

After 8 p.m., the service issued a tornado warning -- meaning radar has detected a tornado or people in an area have reported seeing one -- for southeastern Adams County and York County. The warning expired at 8:30, but the county is still under a tornado watch through 11 p.m.

Fallen trees have blocked some roads in Dover Township, according to Northern York County Regional Police.

Both lanes of travel were blocked along Conewago and Piney Hollow roads near Harmony Grove Road about 5 p.m. Saturday, police said. There also were reports of a wire down.

Global Depopulation and the Eugenics Agenda (Full)

This is a terrible thing to say. In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say, but it's just as bad not to say it." — Jacques Cousteau, UNESCO Courier (November 1991)

Though it is quite true that any radical eugenic policy will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible, it will be important for Unesco to see that the eugenic problem is examined with the greatest care, and that the public mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that now is unthinkable may at least become thinkable." — UNESCO Director-general Julian Huxley (1947)

"Central to the issues we are going to have to deal with are: ... the explosive increase in population.... We have been the most successful species ever; we are now a species out of control." — Maurice F. Strong, former UNCED Secretary-General (1992)

"Since its inception, the U.N. has advanced a world-wide program of population control, scientific human breeding, and Darwinism." — Claire Chambers, The SIECUS Circle: A Humanist Revolution (1977)

Has eugenics faded away with time, or has the pseudo science morphed and cloaked itself under new auspices? Were some of the original founders of population control efforts themselves eugenicists? How and when did eugenicists shift from Galton era ideals to Malthusian population control? The history of eugenics is incredibly detailed and expansive, but there are certain issues that are not given as much attention as others. This video presentation attempts to answer these questions and provide a wider perspective on these important issues.

Strong quake shakes buildings in Tokyo

AFP/File – Unusually calm street is seen at nine in the morning in Ginza district of Tokyo. A strong earthquake …

TOKYO (AFP) – A strong earthquake of magnitude 5.8 hit central Japan on Saturday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.

The quake, which shook buildings in Tokyo, struck at 11:19 am (0219 GMT), 83 kilometres (52 miles) north of the capital and at a depth of 20 kilometres, the USGS said.

Operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) said the tremor did not disrupt the emergency crews who are working around the clock to cool crippled reactors at a nuclear plant hit by a devastating earthquake and tsunami last month.

That earthquake -- the biggest ever recorded in Japan -- struck on March 11, triggering a huge tsunami and leaving 13,591 people dead, with another 14,497 still unaccounted for.

Tens of thousands of people lost their homes, while many others were forced to evacuate after a series of explosions at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant sent radiation spewing into the air.

The radiation leaks have resulted in bans on produce from the affected area and hurt the fishing and farming industries because of public fears over radioactivity in food.

On Friday, Japan's government ordered TEPCO to offer payouts to tens of thousands of people made homeless by the ongoing crisis.

The total cost from collapsed or damaged houses, factories and infrastructure such as roads and bridges is estimated to reach 16-25 trillion yen over the next three fiscal years, according to the Cabinet Office.

There were no immediate reports of any damage or casualties from Saturday's quake, which the Japan Meteorological Agency said had a magnitude of 5.9 and struck at a depth of 70 kilometres underground.

Tattoos are Marks of Satan!

Tattoos are Marks of Satan!

By David J. Stewart

I was recently reading a
ridiculous article from the
Christian Tattoo Association
(Oh Brother!).  The author of the
article is a professional tattoo artist, and he strongly attempts to defend
his demonic craft with the Word of God.  Despite all his ranting and
raving, tattoos are sinful.  The Bible states in Leviticus 19:28, "Ye
shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks
upon you: I am the LORD.
"  The anonymous author of the article claims
that God only condemns tattoos which are placed upon the body to invoke the
attention of pagan Gods.  However, tattoos are without question, marks of
Satan.  There are several proofs of this fact.
First, what types of people are operating tattoo businesses?
Do you know of any Christ-honoring, Bible-believing churches who are willing
to tattoo you?  No.  Tattoo shops are operated by some of the
creepiest, weird looking, worldly people on the planet.  Go into any
tattoo shop and you'll likely meet some bald-headed guy with tattoos all over
his body, and earrings in both ears.  You'll likely see nudity in some of
the images.  Only a fool would say that God approves of befriending the
world, "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of
the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the
world is the enemy of God
" (James 4:4).  Most professed Christians
today have the exact OPPOSITE attitude, saying that we need to become more
like the world if we are to attract them to Christ.  The Word of God
condemns such apostate thinking.  God commands us to SEPARATE from the
sinful world (2nd Corinthians 6:14-17), and not to help them by befriending
their wickedness.  Tattoos are worldly as can be, and the businesses that
sell them are demonic.  The simple fact that tattoos are always obtained
from heathen worldly sources proves that they are of the Devil.  There is
nothing "Christian" about tattoos!

When you get a tattoo, you are
IDENTIFYING yourself with the lost world, because that's where tattoos
originated!!!  Tattoos didn't originate from the Bible; but from the
heathen unsaved world.

Second, what type of people
usually get tattoos?  There is a common trend nowadays amongst worldly
women to have a tattoo placed on their lower back, just above their buttocks,
and also on their ankle.  Tattoos are very common amongst prostitutes.
Tattoos are very common amongst homosexuals.  Tattoos are very common
amongst witches and in the Goth crowd.  Tattoos are very common amongst
street gangs and punks.  I don't know of any Christ-honoring Christians
who have had tattoos placed on their body.  I do know some Christians who
have tattoos on their body from their sinful past, and they have told me that
Satan had control of their life before they were saved; but I don't know of
ANY Bible-believing Christians who've been tattooed while close to the Lord.
Say what you will--tattoos have always been obtained from WORLDLY
establishments.

Thirdly, not one Christian in the
entire Bible ever received a tattoo.  Not one!  Jesus never wore a
tattoo!  None of the Apostles wore tattoos.  How ridiculous and
absurd to claim that God approves of tattoos, when Leviticus 19:18 clearly
prohibits such demonic practices, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your
flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Having lived in Chicago for most of my life, and having evangelized to the
inner-city for over 20 years, I can assure you that tattoos are marks of
Satan.  Tattoos are common amongst criminals, street gangs, and
prostitutes.  As I've mentioned, I've never known a God-fearing
Christian to go get a tattoo.  The
origin of
the tattoo
is paganism.

Fourthly, tattoos are popular today
because of the rock-n-roll idols who wear them.  As seen in the photo
above from one of Ozzy Osbourne's band members, rock-n-roll music and
tattoos are synonymous.  You won't seen any popular heathens carrying
God's Word; but most of them have tattoos!

To allow a tattoo to be imprinted on
your body is to defile your flesh with a mark of Satan.  Please
consider this important thought ... If God wanted us to have marks on our
body, He would have put them there.  If God wanted people to smoke
cigarettes, then He would have put a chimney on top of our head.  Marks
on the body have always been associated with sin and slavery.  It's
crazy!  Satan would love to murder children; but people abort their own
children voluntarily.  Satan would love to destroy our health; but
people smoke themselves into a wheelchair voluntarily.  Satan would
love to place his mark upon us; but people do it voluntarily.  Satan
inspires people to destroy themselves, and people are stupid enough to do
it.  Frankly, getting a tattoo is stupid.  A lot of people don't
like themselves, and getting a tattoo identifies them with the lowlifes of
this world.  In a strange way, it makes them feel accepted.  Many
people get tattoos to identify, relate, and find acceptance with the worldly
crowd.

Fifthly, what types of images
are tattooed on people.  Many of the images are snakes, dragons, grim
reapers, naked women, curse words, skulls, and other vile images.  I
realize that some people legitimately want a tattoo to remember the death of
a loved one, and many of the images are not vulgar; however, the FACT
remains that tattoos originated with the wicked.  Our bodies belong to
God, and we should not desecrate the sacredness of the body.  The
believer's body is holy, sanctified unto the Lord.  We read in 2nd
Corinthians 6:20, "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God
in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
"  If God
approved of marks on the body, then He would have said so in the Bible.
Since the Bible clearly states that it was a heathen practice in Leviticus
19:28 to get a tattoo, we would be sinful and foolish to think otherwise.
The bottom line is that tattoos are far more POPULAR amongst SATAN'S CROWD!

Sixth, where are people
getting tattoos?  Many tattoos are nowadays being placed in the genital
and private places on the body.  There is a definite sexual connection
with the tattoo industry.  In addition, it is wickedness for a male
tattoo artist (which most of them are) to look upon a female's naked body in
order to paint a tattoo upon her.  We are living in a sex-perverted
generation, where fornication is so commonplace that many men and women have
lost respect for their bodies.  This is especially true of women.
Such women are far more likely to commit further whoredom, get tattoos, and
live in sexual sin.  The fact that many people are getting tattoos in
their private places speaks volumes concerning the nature of tattoos.

Seventh, tattoos are an unwise
decision for health reasons.  Here's some FACTS that the local tattoo
shop WON'T dare tell you...

FDA Warnings for Healthy
Consumers

The U.S. Food and Drug
administration lists the following risk warnings concerning tattoos. [2]

Infection. Even
with the use of a new needle, tattooing equipment is still difficult to
sterilize. When equipment is not sterile  is used, there is an increased
the risk of transmitting bloodborne disease such as hepatitis or HIV.
Because of these infection risks, the American Association of Blood
Banks requires a one-year wait between getting a tattoo and donating
blood.

Allergic reactions.
Although allergic reactions to tattoo pigments are rare; however when
they do occur, they may be particularly troublesome because the pigments
can be hard to remove. Occasionally, people can develop an allergic
reaction to tattoos they have had for years.

MRI complications.
There have been reports of people with tattoos or permanent makeup who
experienced swelling or burning in the affected areas when they
underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Removal problems.
The most common problem with tattoos is costumer dissatisfaction.
Despite advances in laser technology, removing a tattoo is a painstaking
process, usually involving several treatments and considerable expense.
-SOURCE

I just underwent an MRI for herniated
disks in my neck.  I sure am glad I don't have any tattoos.

Conclusion

We are living in apostate times, when
Satan is
conditioning the masses
to receive the coming antichrist.  To no
surprise--homosexuals are trying to justify their abominations with the
Bible, witches are quoting the teachings of Jesus in an attempt to silence
Christians, professed "Christians" are trying to justify Satan's rock music
with the Bible, feminists are promoting godless "feminist theology,"
professed Christians are trying to use the Bible to justify tattoos, etc.
It is disgraceful.  Let us be diligent to expose the evils of tattoos.
No Christian should ever receive a tattoo mark on the body, because tattoos
are marks of Satan.  Romans 8:5 states, "For they that are after the
flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit
the things of the Spirit.
"  Tattoos are of the flesh, and of the
Devil.  The only people saying otherwise are the Devil's gang, the
worldly crowd.  As the church goes further into apostasy, so will the
world continue to redefine God.  It is NO coincidence that fornication,
abortion, idolatry, covetousness, feminism, rock-n-roll, witchcraft,
lesbianism, and tattoos have become popular in recent decades--this is
because of the apostate condition of America's Christians.  Most of
America's preachers have stopped preaching hard against sin, and have gone
the greedy way of Balaam.  Rise up oh Christian!

TSA security looks at people who complain about ... TSA security

By Mike M. Ahlers and Jeanne Meserve, CNN

Washington (CNN) -- Don't like the way airport screeners are doing their job? You might not want to complain too much while standing in line.

Arrogant complaining about airport security is one indicator Transportation Security Administration officers consider when looking for possible criminals and terrorists, CNN has learned exclusively. And, when combined with other behavioral indicators, it could result in a traveler facing additional scrutiny.

CNN has obtained a list of roughly 70 "behavioral indicators" that TSA behavior detection officers use to identify potentially "high risk" passengers at the nation's airports.

Many of the indicators, as characterized in open government reports, are behaviors and appearances that may be indicative of stress, fear or deception. None of them, as the TSA has long said, refer to or suggest race, religion or ethnicity.

But one addresses passengers' attitudes towards security, and how they express those attitudes.

It reads: "Very arrogant and expresses contempt against airport passenger procedures."

TSA officials declined to comment on the list of indicators, but said that no single indicator, taken by itself, is ever used to identify travelers as potentially high-risk passengers. Travelers must exhibit several indicators before behavior detection officers steer them to more thorough screening.

But a civil liberties organization said the list should not include behavior relating to the expression of opinions, even arrogant expressions of opinion.

"Expressing your contempt about airport procedures -- that's a First Amendment-protected right," said Michael German, a former FBI agent who now works as legal counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "We all have the right to express our views, and particularly in a situation where the government is demanding the ability to search you."

"It's circular reasoning where, you know, I'm going to ask someone to surrender their rights; if they refuse, that's evidence that I need to take their rights away from them. And it's simply inappropriate," he said.

The TSA says its security programs are informed by real-world situations and intelligence. Indeed, the immigration agent who refused to let the alleged "20th hijacker" into the United States in 2001 later testified that the man's arrogant behavior contributed to his suspicions.

Agent Jose Melendez-Perez told the 9/11 commission that Mohammed al-Qahtani "became visibly upset" and arrogantly pointed his finger in the agent's face when asked why he did not have an airline ticket for a return flight.

But some experts say terrorists are much more likely to avoid confrontations with authorities, saying an al Qaeda training manual instructs members to blend in.

"I think the idea that they would try to draw attention to themselves by being arrogant at airport security, it fails the common sense test," said CNN National Security Analyst Peter Bergen. "And it also fails what we know about their behaviors in the past."

The 9/11 commission's report says that "none of the checkpoint supervisors (on September 11th) recalled the (successful) hijackers or reported anything suspicious regarding their screening."

But, it says, an airline ticket agent that checked in hijacker Mohammed Atta says Atta "reacted negatively when informed in Portland (Maine) that he would have to check in again in Boston." Atta "clenched his jaw and said ... with some irritation, 'They told me one step check-in,'" he recalled. The ticket agent recommended the United States hire "behavior profilers ... the way they do overseas," the report says.

Rafi Ron, former director of security at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport, said an arrogant complaint about security is a legitimate factor to consider. But officials also should be suspicious of effusive praise, he said.

"The other end of the spectrum is almost as bad, although it is maybe less offensive," he said.

The TSA is expanding the behavior detection program, formally known as SPOT, for Screening Passengers by Observation Technique.

Currently, some 3,000 uniformed behavior detection officers are deployed at about 175 airports. President Obama is calling for an additional 175 such officers in his 2012 budget proposal, and the TSA is expected to spend a total of $1.2 billion on the program over the next five years.

In recent years, the TSA has also expanded the scope of the program. Originally intended to look only for suspected terrorists, the program now also seeks to ferret out possible criminals in airports.

Many details of the program are publicly available. According to a Government Accountability Office report, uniformed behavior detection officers typically work in two-person teams at airport checkpoint lines, looking for behaviors that are on the SPOT checklist, each of which is assigned a numerical value.

The officers sometimes initiate casual conversations with passengers, particularly if a passenger is exhibiting behaviors on the SPOT checklist.

In most instances, the Accountability Office said, the conversation resolves the suspicion.

But if both behavior detection officers agree that observed indicators exceed a predetermined numerical threshold, the person is referred to additional screening, which can involve more questioning and physical searches of a person or property.

If the person's behavior escalates, accumulating more points based on the SPOT checklist, the officers can refer the person to local law enforcement for investigation. After the law enforcement investigation, the TSA officials determine whether to allow the passenger to board the flight.

The Department of Homeland Security says the program is successful, telling Congress last week that, in a recent test comparing behavior detection officers to random screening procedures, the officers were 50 times more likely to refer people they checked to local law enforcement, and about 4.5 times as likely to identify people with prohibited items or fraudulent documents.

Taken together, such officers are nine times more likely to identify "high risk" passengers than random screening, the department said.

"SPOT identifies high-risk travelers at a significantly higher rate then random screening," Larry Willis of the department's Science and Technology Directorate testified.

But one member of the study's Technical Advisory Committee said the study did not establish the program's scientific validity.

"The advisory committee has not been asked to evaluate the overall SPOT program, nor has it been asked to evaluate the validity of indicators used in the program," Philip Rubin testified to Congress last week.

Advisory committee members were not shown the list of behavioral indicators, he said.

"My concern is that if I'm a member of the public and I hear (Willis') testimony, it sounds like the SPOT program has been validated," Rubin told CNN.

He said that while large numbers of people were screened, very little criminal activity was detected, and the numbers may not be statistically significant. "The hit rate is so low on this, it could turn out to be a random glitch," he said.

The Government Accountability Office also criticized the study, saying TSA's records are incomplete and the study is not designed to answer the big question people have about the program: Does it work?

The study "is not designed to fully validate whether behavior detection can be used to reliably identify individuals in an airport environment who pose a security risk," the agency said.

Members of Congress also expressed concern about the number of "false positives" -- people flagged for additional screening that resulted in nothing being found. For every person correctly identified as a "high risk" traveler by (the behavior detection officers), 86 were misidentified, Willis said. At random screening, for every person correctly identified, 794 were misidentified.

The TSA does not track the number of arrests, convictions or exonerations of people that are referred to law enforcement, he said.

The ACLU's German, who has not seen the behavioral indicators list, said he fears the indicators "are being used simply as a proxy for racial profiling or other inappropriate police activities." The number of people arrested at airport checkpoints for immigration violations suggests the behavior detection officers are profiling, he said.

Thirty-nine percent of the 1,083 people arrested during the first four and a half years of the program were arrested because they were illegal aliens, according to the Government Accountability Office.

Experts agree that the fact that there is an extremely small number of terrorists makes it hard to evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral observation programs. The Accountability Office said it looked at 23 occasions in which 16 individuals -- people later charged with terrorism-related activities -- passed through high-threat airports. None is known to have been identified. But it is not known if the behavior detection officers were working at the time, the agency said.

Stephen Lord of the Accountability Office is recommending the TSA study airport videos of those instances.

"We believe such recordings could help identify behaviors that may be common among terrorists, or could demonstrate that terrorists do not generally display any identifying behaviors," Lord said.

Yellowstone Bigger Than Thought

Yellowstone Supervolcano Bigger Than Thought

LiveScience.com

The gigantic underground plume of partly molten rock that feeds the Yellowstone supervolcano might be bigger than previously thought, a new image suggests.

The study says nothing about the chances of a cataclysmic eruption at Yellowstone, but it provides scientists with a valuable new perspective on the vast and deep reservoir of fiery material that feeds such eruptions, the last of which occurred more than 600,000 years ago. [Related: Infographic - The Geology of Yellowstone.]

Earlier measurements of the plume were produced by using seismic waves — the waves generated by earthquakes — to create a picture of the underground region. The new picture was produced by examining the Yellowstone plume's electrical conductivity, which is generated by molten silicate rocks and hot briny water that is naturally present and mixed in with partly molten rock.

University of Utah

"It’s a totally new and different way of imaging and looking at the volcanic roots of Yellowstone," said study co-author Robert B. Smith, professor emeritus and research professor of geophysics at the University of Utah, and a coordinating scientist of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory.

Ancient eruptions

Almost 17 million years ago, the deep plume of partly molten rock known as the Yellowstone hot spot first breached the surface in an eruption near what is now the Oregon-Idaho-Nevada border.

As North America drifted slowly southwest over the hot spot, there were more than 140 gargantuan caldera eruptions — the largest kind of eruption on Earth — along a northeast-trending path that is now Idaho's Snake River Plain.

The hot spot finally reached Yellowstone about 2 million years ago, yielding three huge caldera eruptions about 2 million, 1.3 million and 642,000 years ago.

Two of the eruptions blanketed half of North America with volcanic ash, producing 2,500 times and 1,000 times more ash than the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens in Washington state. Smaller eruptions occurred at Yellowstone in between the big blasts and as recently as 70,000 years ago.

Underground images

Smith said the geoelectric and seismic images of the Yellowstone plume look somewhat different because "we are imaging slightly different things." Seismic images highlight materials such as molten or partly molten rock that slow seismic waves, while the geoelectric image is sensitive to briny fluids that conduct electricity.

Seismic images of the plume made by Smith in 2009 showed the plume of molten rock dips downward from Yellowstone at a 60-degree angle and extends 150 miles (240 kilometers) west-northwest to a point at least 410 miles (660 km) under the Montana-Idaho border — as far as seismic imaging could "see."

The new electrical conductivity images show the conductive part of the plume dipping more gently, at an angle of perhaps 40 degrees to the west, and extending perhaps 400 miles (640 km) from east to west. The geoelectric image can "see" to a depth of only 200 miles (320 km).

The lesser tilt of the geoelectric plume image raises the possibility that the seismically imaged plume, shaped somewhat like a tilted tornado, may be enveloped by a broader, underground sheath of partly molten rock and liquids, Zhdanov and Smith say.

"It's a bigger size" in the geoelectric picture, Smith said. "We can infer there are more fluids" than shown by seismic images. Despite differences, he said, "this body that conducts electricity is in about the same location with similar geometry as the seismically imaged Yellowstone plume."

The new study has been accepted for publication in Geophysical Research Letters, a journal of the American Geophysical Union, which plans to publish it within the next few weeks.

HIGH TREASON: OBAMA AND HOLDER DROP INDICTMENTS AGAINST MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD-TIED GROUP CAIR ET AL AT DOJ

For years Atlas and Atlas readers wanted to know why there were no indictments and prosecutions of the Muslim Brotherhood co-conspirators (CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS) named in the largest terror funding trial in US history (here, for example).  Obama and Holder appear to have scuttled them, much the same way as they dropped the voter intimidation charges against the Black Panthers (a case that was, by and large, already won).

I have been waiting on an explosive FOIA — and the DoJ has been unresponsive, pushing back my request to an indeterminate time due to “backlog.”

Remember in 2012 to volunteer, support, and campaign for politicans who promise to follow through on prosecuting Muslim Brotherhood terror-tied groups in the US. DO IT!

Did Obama and Holder Scuttle Terror Finance Prosecutions? PJM

High-level source concedes DOJ let off CAIR co-founders and others for political reasons.

During the House Homeland Security hearing last month on the topic of radicalization in the American Muslim community, one exchange between L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca and Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN) concerned the relationship between the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and Hamas terrorist front the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Sheriff Baca told the congressman:

We don’t play around with criminals in my world. If CAIR is an organization that is a quote “criminal organization,” prosecute them. Hold them accountable and bring them to trial.

But according to a high-ranking source within the Department of Justice, who spoke exclusively to Pajamas Media on the condition of anonymity, Sheriff Baca, a long-time supporter of CAIR, was probably already in on the joke.
