York, PA - The 23rd annual Community All Saints' Day Service, a Christian worship and remembrance service, will be 7 p.m. Nov. 1 in Stewartstown.
The service is designed to offer comfort and hope to all who grieve, and the public is invited to attend. It will be held at the Stewartstown United Methodist Church, 26 S. Main St. in Stewartstown.
Nearly 400 individuals will be remembered as their names are called aloud in prayer and a handbell is tolled in their memory. A time for refreshment and remembering will follow the service.
The message at this year's services is titled "Where Do We Learn the Skill of Grieving?" It will be given by the Rev. Stephen Gutridge, interim pastor at Stewartstown
Presbyterian Church.
Special worship music also will be offered.
