Rev. Wright Offered Hush Money During Obama Campaign
It turns out that the Obama campaign was much more concerned about the
comments of Rev. Jeremiah Wright than they let on. According to a
statement by Wright, not only did Obama personally ask him to keep
quiet, but Wright was also offered money to stop speaking until the
campaign was over.

conservatives who are still warming to him.
