Online 'hate' campaign targets Christian sites

Homosexual critics of biblical view of family trigger PayPal 'investigation'

By Bob Unruh
Severo's website posted warning about events

A formal investigation of several Christian organizations has been launched by PayPal, the huge money-transfer company, because of an online campaign of "hate" against them by homosexuals, according to one of the targets.

Both websites are unabashedly Christian, and both advocate the biblical perspective of homosexuality.

The demands from PayPal came in the form of a questionnaire that required the site operators to explain the PayPal button on their site and "the purpose … of collecting these donations."

PayPal, which returned a WND request for comment on the "hate" campaign against the Christian organizations but said it did not have a statement prepared, also wanted to know how PayPal would be used as a payment provider and whether the organization has "registered" tax-exempt status.

Severo explained to PayPal that his Christian ministry, through his Portuguese, English, Spanish and German blogs, aims to "inform people about controversial issues, including euthanasia, abortion, homosexuality, etc."

"I noticed that your message came to me after a hate campaign against me and other Christian ministries," he told PayPal, citing the AllOut.org website.

That online campaign criticizes "anti-LGBT extremists" who are using PayPal to raise money for "their dangerous cause."

It specifically puts bull's-eyes on Severo and LaBarbera as well as Abiding Truth Ministries, New Generation Ministries, Noua Dreapta of Romania, Truth in Action Ministries, Dove World Outreach, Faith Word Baptist Church, Family Research Institute and American Society for the Defense of Traditional Family.

AllOut alleges those groups promote "hate."

But Severo insisted exactly the opposite is true.

"I want you to know that we Christians love homosexuals, but we disagree with their immoral lifestyles," he told PayPal.

A response to Severo from PayPal noted, "We appreciate your information. Your account has been noted accordingly. We will investigate your account and give you response as soon as possible. Your patience on this case is highly appreciated."

Severo said AllOut also is working on Facebook, Twitter and through emails to pressure PayPal to censor his religious beliefs.

"Differently from gay activists that receive huge government grants, I receive no government money," Severo said.

"I spend much time preparing and writing articles to post in my blogs. My blogs and their messages are my voluntary contributions and my personal sacrifice to help inform you. Pray against gay campaigns aimed at isolating financially me and my family. If they are successfully, we as a family … will not be able to survive."

He told PayPal, "I will be waiting your answer, and also a public answer regarding the hate campaign aimed at me. All the accusations of this hate campaign against me are false. I have never, as a Christian, preached any violence against other people. I can present hundreds of witnesses that will confirm what I am saying."

LifeSiteNews.com already has created an online petition in support of the Christian websites and ministries that says, "I protest the attack by homosexual organizations on Christian activists Julio Severo, Americans for Truth About Homosexualty (AFTAH), and Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP). I encourage PayPal to affirm the right of pro-family organizations to use its service and to reject attacks on the Christian faith and other religions that uphold sexual morality and defend family values."

According to LaBarbera, the issue is that homosexual activists no longer are willing merely to pursue their own lifestyle; they now are demanding that people with biblical perspectives with which they disagree be shut down.

"They want dominance even if it means smearing pro-family people as 'haters' and destroying our cherished religious freedoms," he said.

WND reported earlier when Severo reported his website had been under surveillance by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

WND also reported when a similar series of attacks were generated against online ministries and groups that discuss the danger of Islam.

PayPal reportedly cut off several accounts because of concerns about their message of truth about Islam, then restored them a short time later.

Popular activist, author and blogger Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, who has also helped found the Freedom Defense Initiative and Stop Islamization of America, reported getting intimidating letters from PayPal that claimed the websites "promote hate" and "racial intolerance."

According to Geller, PayPal sent her letters explaining the websites had violated the company's policy, which bans use of PayPal for items that "promote hate, violence, racial intolerance or the financial exploitation of a crime."

In order to comply, Geller reported, she was required to remove PayPal as a payment option from her websites, as well as all references to the company, its logo and shopping-cart features.

She later reported an executive with the company called and explained the decision was in error and that financial services to the websites could resume.

WND also reported when the Charitable Give Back Group, formerly known as the Christian Values Network, said activists were working online to gather signatures and scare customers away because of the Christian message.

Will Pedophilia be legalized?

Public Advocate Banner

“Minor-attracted persons.”

Yes, you read that correctly.

“B4U-ACT is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes communication and collaboration among minor-attracted persons, mental health professionals, and researchers.”

Straight from their own press release!

Believe it or not, opposition to pedophilia is the next big wall of morality being broken down by the Homosexual Lobby and the anti-moral left -- and it is being championed by professional psychologists.

I have been warning people that this was where the radical Homosexual Agenda was heading for years...

…Back when NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) used to have floats in the Homosexual Pride parades.

At its heart, the homosexual lobby seeks normalization of all forms of perversion.

And now, they want Pedophilia removed from the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), the official list of medical mental disorders.

Some even argue that there is nothing wrong with “adult-child relationships” – and that they should be encouraged.

Harry Hay, a longtime radical Homosexual activist, once said that a sexual “relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world.”

And if pedophilia is normalized in the medical community, it will not be long before it is de-criminalized completely!

This is exactly what they did with Homosexuality.

They waged a war of political correctness to remove Homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses in the DSM.

And now they are trying to force acceptance of pedophilia on Americans as well.

If pedophiles are normalized, if the laws are changed to say that these “minor-attracted persons” are just like you and me, it won’t be long before pedophilia is legal.

And the next step after that: They will want to teach it to our kids.

Will they tell our children that it is okay for an adult to touch them?

Will they be told that saying no is a “hate-crime?”

Where does it all end?

I need your support today in order to stop this perverted agenda in its tracks.

Public Advocate needs your support.

The Homosexual Lobby’s attack is still in its early stages so we must strike before they reach a critical momentum.

You and I cannot stand by and let them force the worst of all perversions into our society.

Public Advocate is the only group standing up to the radical Homosexual Lobby at every turn, but I can’t do it without your support.

For the Family,

Sheriff Arpaio's posse to review Obama BC

Famous Arizona lawman responds to citizen request to probe president

By Jerome R. Corsi

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona has constituted a special law enforcement posse to investigate allegations brought by members of the Surprise, Ariz., Tea Party that the birth certificate Barack Obama released to the public April 27 might be a forgery, WND has learned.

The posse, under the authority of Arpaio's office, will consist of two former law enforcement officers and two retired attorneys, headed by Michael Zullo, a retired police detective originally from Bergen County, N.J.

WND confirmed with Zullo and with Arpaio's office that the investigation into the Obama birth certificate has been sanctioned fully by Arpaio's office. The investigation, they said, will be conducted with "utmost diligence," and the investigators will be authorized to utilize subpoena power.

Arpaio spokesman Lt. Justin Griffin told WND that Arpaio's posse will consist entirely of volunteers and will avoid incurring any cost to the taxpayers of Maricopa County.

"I am very grateful that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is a sincere man of his word and a fearless, patriotic American," Brian Reilly, a spokesman for the Surprise Tea Party, told WND.

The document in question, which has been described as a fraud by numerous analysts and experts in imaging, documents and computers:

Reilly had less kind words for his representatives in Washington, D.C.

"Congress should be ashamed," he said. "They didn't even have the backbone to uphold their constitutional oaths of office to initiate this investigation."

Arpaio's move is unprecedented in that WND research can find no other instance in United States history in which a county sheriff's office has undertaken an investigation of a document pertaining to a sitting United States president.

Arpaio's decision follows a meeting held in his office Aug. 17 with a group of Surprise Tea Party representatives, including Reilly. Four days later, the group presented a formal letter to Arpaio expressing concern that should Obama use a forged birth certificate to prove his eligibility for the 2012 presidential ballot in Arizona, the voting rights of the residents of Maricopa County could be irreparably compromised.

WND reported Aug. 21 that the letter formally stated the following charge: "The Surprise Tea Party is concerned that no law enforcement agency or other duly constituted government agency has conducted an investigation into the Obama birth certificate to determine if it is in fact an authentic copy of 1961 birth records on file for Barack Obama at the Hawaii Department of Health in Honolulu, or whether it, or they are forgeries."

From left to right, WND's Jerome Corsi, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Surprise, Ariz., tea-party leaders Julie Wise, Jim Wise and Jeff Lichter

The letter noted that to date, despite continuing legal challenges, the Hawaii Department of Health has refused to make public or to release to independent forensic examination by qualified examiners the original Obama birth records held in secret in the Hawaii Department of Health files.

"Having exhausted all available governmental and law enforcement resources at our disposal, we are turning to you as the highest law enforcement officer in Maricopa County where we reside," the Surprise Tea Party explained in the letter.

"We are asking for your assistance because you have a demonstrated history of enforcing Arizona laws in Maricopa County, even when enforcing those laws is unpopular in Arizona or out-of-favor with the wishes of a federal government that may choose to ignore the law to the detriment of the residents of Maricopa County."

The letter expressed confidence that Arpaio will take his law enforcement responsibilities seriously and "will not ignore the request or delegate the request to some other government or law enforcement agency in the state or the federal government that will choose to not respond to our requests for political reasons."

"But, quite frankly, Sheriff Arpaio, you are our last resort to see Arizona statutes enforced to preserve the integrity of Arizona election law," the letter continued.

From left to right, WND's Jerome Corsi, Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Surprise, Ariz.,
tea party leaders Brian and Denise Reilly

Reilly told WND that he and the Surprise Tea Party believed the posse constituted by Arpaio was an appropriate response to their written request.

"We picked the right man, in the right county, in the right state, at the right time to determine the truth about who Barack Obama is and whether he has presented a fraudulent or authentic birth certificate to the American public," Reilly said. "With God's help, Sheriff Arpaio will find the truth."

In addition to the letter, the Surprise Tea Party delivered to Arpaio a petition with 242 signatures that were obtained at the Aug. 17 meeting.

The group also gave to Arpaio a binder containing the published reports of 20 experts with established credentials who conducted a forensic examination of the computer PDF file published on the White House website and the photocopies of the Obama birth certificate handed out by the White House to the press during the April 27 press conference.

The Arizona State Legislature on April 15 passed a bill that would have required candidates for the presidency to prove to the Arizona secretary of state their eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution. Arizona Republican Gov. Janet Brewer, however, vetoed the bill.

City demands Christians get permit for Bible study

City demands Christians get permit for Bible study

Already fined $300, facing potential penalty of $500 per meeting

By Bob Unruh
One of San Juan Capstrano's historic buildings

Chuck and Stephanie Fromm already have been fined $300 for holding Bible studies for their friends at their home, and they face the potential for additional fines of $500 for each study held, according to a legal team taking their case to court.

The newest conflict over Bible studies in homes in America arose in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., where city officials say city code section 9-3.301 prohibits religious organizations in residential neighborhoods without a conditional-use permit, a sometimes very expensive procedure.

The code cites "churches, temples, synagogues, monasteries, religious retreats, and other places of religious worship and other fraternal and community service organizations."

But a Bible study in a home?

"Imposing a heavy-handed permit requirement on a home Bible study is outrageous," said Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute, which is working on the case on behalf of the Fromms.

"In a city so rich with religious history and tradition, this is particularly egregious. An informal gathering in a home cannot be treated with suspicion by the government, or worse than any other gathering of friends, just because it is religious. We cannot allow this to happen in America, and we will fight as long and as hard as it takes to restore this group's religious freedom."

WND has reported on similar issues in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and in Gilbert, Ariz.

In this case, the city is demanding that the home Bible study is banned because it is a "church," unless it purchases a 'Conditional Use Permit" from the city.

Pacific Justice said it has represented larger churches that have been required to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars as part of the permit process on such items as engineering and traffic studies, architectural designs. The process includes public hearings and ultimately can result in a rejection by the city.

Pacific Justice says the Fromms already have been fined $300, and an appeal to the city was denied.

The organization points out that the city was founded as a Christian mission in the 1700s and is home to California's oldest building still in use, a chapel where Father Junipero Serra celebrated mass.

Pacific Justice said it is appealing the city's demands to California Superior Court in Orange County.

A report from the city's Dispatch newspaper said that Fromm, publisher of Worship Leader Magazine, wanted to hold Bible studies on Wednesdays that drew some 20 people, while similar studies on Sundays attracted up to 50 to their acreage that includes their home, a corral, a barn, a pool and a huge back yard.

The newspaper said city records showed someone complained, however, and a code enforcement officer first gave them a verbal warning and then issued citations in May and June.

"We don't like lawsuits, but we have to stand up for what's right. It's not just a personal issue," Stephanie Fromm told the newspaper. "Can you imagine anybody in any neighborhood, that one person can call and make it a living hell for someone else? That's wrong … and it's just sad."

A trial is scheduled for Oct. 7.

The case is similar to a previous dispute in San Diego County. There, officials apologized after a code-enforcement officer tried to shut down a Bible study.

Citigroup To Start Charging Per-Month Fees On Low-Balance Accounts

Citigroup To Start Charging Per-Month Fees On Low-Balance Accounts

Citigroup

Citigroup Inc said it will start charging a monthly fee of $10 on checking and savings accounts with combined balances of less than $1,500, joining a growing list of banks seeking to recoup revenue lost under new financial industry regulations.

The fee will be waived if a customer completes one direct deposit and one online bill payment per month through an account, or maintains a balance of at least $1,500 in checking and savings accounts, Citigroup said on Friday

The change takes effect in December.

Under Citi's current fee structure, customers are not required to maintain minimum account balances but must complete five transactions a month through an account to avoid a monthly fee of $8.

Citigroup said it will not charge for debit card use or online bill payment.

Stephen Troutner, head of banking products for Citi's U.S. consumer bank, said free debit card use could woo customers from other banks that are weighing whether to charge for debit card use, such as JPMorgan Chase & Co and Wells Fargo & Co.

``Customers have told us in no uncertain terms that is a huge source of irritation,'' Troutner said.

New York-based Citi is the latest bank to tinker with its fee structure following changes in U.S. consumer banking regulations and laws over the last two years.

New regulations -- part of a broad financial sector reform effort -- limit overdraft fees and other penalty fees banks can charge.

In response, many banks have begun introducing monthly service fees for accounts, debit card use and visits to branches.

Bank of America Corp, the largest U.S. bank by assets, added checking account fees last year. The BofA changes include an ebanking account, which allows customers to use ATMs and online banking for free but charges a monthly fee of $7 for teller visits or receiving paper statements. Startling Anti-Semitic Rally in Canada: Jews Are ‘Racist, Inhuman and Barbaric’

Startling Anti-Semitic Rally in Canada: Jews Are ‘Racist, Inhuman and Barbaric’

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), a collaborative group comprised of Jewish organizations in Canada, has released a startling three-minute video clip of what appears to be an anti-Israel protest.

The rally, which took place on August 28 at Queens Park in Toronto, has ignited fear and debate surrounding radical Islam and its infusion into Western society. IsraelNationalNews.com describes the event, which was called Al-Quds Day:

Al-Quds Day has been marked since 1979, as decided by Ayatollah Khomeini and the Iranian government, on the last Friday of the Ramadan month in order to express the support of Iran and the Muslim world of Palestinians Authority Arabs and “the liberation of Jerusalem,” to discredit Israel and call for its destruction, and to defy the United States and other western powers.

The event, which included a multitude of anti-Israeli rhetoric, occurs in cities across the world each year. YNetNews reports that the Toronto version included speakers who called Israel a “cancer” and who accused the Middle Eastern country of being involved “wherever we see injustice happening.”

Additionally, Israelis were purportedly called “racists” and “barbarians,” among other names. At one point in the clip, it appears that some protestors are waving Hezbollah – widely regarded as a terror group — flags.

For example, Zafar Bangash, president of the Islamic Society of York Region said, “Zionism is racism,” and claimed that Zionists are “racist, inhuman and barbaric.” These were tough words for such a prominent faith leader.

“Allah willing, I see that day when we, the Muslims, will march on Palestine and liberate Palestine for all the people in the world,” he continued. “For the Jewish people, for the Christian people and for the Muslim people, and under Islamic law they will all be living as equal citizens.”

Maulana Asad Jafri, who also spoke at the event, said that “the Zionist regime sucks the resources, the blood and everything that belongs to people all across the world in order to fulfill its personal needs.”

Another speaker, Karin Brothers, sparked controversy for her participation in the event. Brothers, a representative of the United Church of Canada (a Christian denomination), had nothing but kind words for the participants. The video shows her proudly proclaiming, “We are blessed here in Toronto with the most dedicated peace activists who represent many faiths and cultures.”

The event was purportedly sponsored by CASMO, the Canadian Shia Muslims Organization.
CIJA‘s communications director Steve McDonald appeared on Canada’s Sun News Network, where he addressed the gathering.

Tarek Fatah, the president of the Muslim Canadian Congress, has come out against Toronto’s Al-Quds Day. You may recall Fatah from his warning about the Muslim Brotherhood’s alleged influence on the White House (The Blaze covered that speech last month).

During an interview with Sun Media, he called on Muslims to denounce the rally’s participants. He also encouraged adherents to tell the event’s speakers that they should return to their homelands if they want to live under Islamic law:

Additionally, Fatah posted a strong message on his Facebook page:

Some will likely be startled to hear such inflammatory language being uttered in a Westernized society like Canada. The Blaze, equally surprised to see the footage, reached out to CIJA to confirm the accuracy of the video.

After viewing pieces of the raw footage, we can confirm that radical statements were, indeed, made at this event. The confirmation from individuals like Fatah further corroborates the notion.

Pat Robertson Says Alzheimer’s Disease is Grounds…for Divorce?

Pat Robertson Says Alzheimer’s Disease is Grounds…for Divorce?

Pat Robertson is known for making controversial statements. His latest pronouncement is sure to inspire intense debate, especially among those who follow strict religious teachings on marriage.

This morning, Gawker, NBC and a number of other outlets are reporting that Robertson believes Alzheimer’s Disease is a permissible excuse for divorce.

As a prominent voice in the conservative, Christian world, most would assume that the famed faith leader would allow for divorce — from a Biblical perspective — only under circumstances of adultery. In a video clip that was posted by Right Wing Watch (via Gawker), a woman by the name of “Andreas” writes in to ask Robertson for advice.

According to Andreas, her friend is married to a woman who has come down with Alzheimer’s Disease. As the disease has intensified, the afflicted can no longer even recognize her husband. As a result, her friend has become bitter at God for allowing such an illness to take hold of his wife and he has begun seeing another woman.

Andreas isn’t sure what to tell her friend, as he justifies his actions by claiming that his wife, as he once knew her, is gone. Robertson’s answer to this debacle is somewhat surprising.

“I hate Alzheimer’s,” he says. ”I know it sounds cruel, but if he’s going to do something, he should divorce her and start all over again, but make sure she has custodial care and somebody looking after her.”

Robertson’s co-host, Terry Meeusen, seemed to push back against these statements. “But isn’t that the vow that we take when we marry someone? That it’s for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer?,” she asked.

Here there seems to be a theological disagreement, as Alzheimer’s would certainly be considered a “sickness.” Many would contend that even in this difficult scenario, the vows that Meeusen mentioned must stand.

Others, though, may agree with Robertson, claiming that it would be better for an individual to move on than to stay in a marriage that has no hope of improving.

One of the elements that news reports missed in analyzing Robertson’s response is that Christians generally believe that sex outside of marriage and adultery are sinful activities. His encouragement for this man to leave his wife may be rooted in an attempt to advise him in avoiding these sins.

Still, leaving a marriage outside of the realm of divorcing a cheating spouse is also considered to be sinful by many Christian adherents.

Pat Robertson has weighed in on this matter, but what do you think? Is divorcing someone who has Alzheimer’s an understandable act? Take our poll:

Is Alzheimer's a permissible reason to seek a divorce?

American Atheist Leader Calls for the ‘Eradication’ of ‘Fundamentalist Christians’

American Atheist Leader Calls for the ‘Eradication’ of ‘Fundamentalist Christians’

American Atheists, a non-profit that claims to protect the rights of atheists and to ensure the “absolute separation of government and religion,” always seems to find itself in the middle of controversy.

As if the most recent Ground Zero cross lawsuit the group launched isn’t enough to inspire widespread angst, an explosive new blog post on the organization’s web site advocating for the “eradication” of fundamental Christians (and Islamists) is certain to make waves.

In the post, Al Stefanelli, American Atheists’ Georgia State Director, makes a bizarre connection between radical Muslims and Christians. In speaking about “fundamentalist Christian and radical Islamic doctrines,“ Stefanelli says that both are ”dangerous, damaging and disingenuous.” Throughout the blog post, he continues to create ties between these two groups, but declines to truly define them.

Aside from making this comparison, he goes on to write that “most of these people” (again referring to both fundamentalist Christians and Islamists) “lack the maturity and intelligence” to act in “a socially acceptable manner.” Many of these adherents, he believes, are “sociopaths,” “psychopaths” or simply “delusional.”

Certainly some would agree that Islamic extremists (and perhaps fringe Christian believers) are sociopaths or psychopaths, but Stefanelli’s comments are so vague it’s impossible to discern who the targets of his rage truly are. Without a clear definition of who, exactly, he’s referring to, one’s mind runs wild with wonderment.

After all, the problem of radical Christianity is – in the views of many – a non-factor here in America (“radical” here essentially means “violent” or “dangerous”). So, who are these villains that Stefanelli is so frustrated by? Radical Islam is certainly a fear in many places across the globe, but the way he speaks about it one would assume it’s knocking on his front door. In one of the most bizarre portion of his text, he writes:

The fact is that fundamentalist Christians and radical Muslims are not interested in coexisting or getting along.  They have no desire for peace. They do not want to sit down with us in diplomatic efforts to iron out our differences and come to an agreement on developing an integrated society.

They want us to die.

He then claims that radical interpretations of the Bible and the Koran require that believers “kill the infidel,” but he provides no evidence that Christians here in America are seeking to do anything along those lines.

He encourages “mainstream believers” within both faiths to be “intolerant of fundamental Christianity and radical Islam.” Based on his writings it seems Stefanelli also takes issue with atheists and non-believers who are content accepting the beliefs of those he finds so unintellectual and radical.

It doesn’t take long for Stefanelli to take aim at conservative media and political leaders (including Glenn Beck), either. He writes:

The atheist community gets angry when we read about the antics of idiotic, ignorant and imbicillic [spelling his] politicians and celebrities like Palin, Bachmann, Beck, Limbaugh, Pawlenty and Santorum. We post our thoughts on our social networks and our blogs and try to expose these creeps for exactly what they are.  Most of the GOP, just about all of the Tea Party movement and even some Democrats and Independents should be ashamed of themselves for going out in public wearing the equivalent of an intellectual diaper.  We criticize them for their rejection of science in favor of their fairy tales and write our letters and support our advocate organizations when our legal rights are abrogated.

He quickly turned up the volatility, continuing:

But the underbelly of fundamentalist Christianity and radical Islam does not operate in the legal system. They don’t respond to lawsuits, letters, amicus briefs or other grass-roots campaigns and they must, must, must be eradicated.

Considering his group’s involvement in fighting Christians and conservatives on a variety of issues, one wonders what, exactly, he means by “eradicated.” Also, the fact that he laments believers refusal to cower to lawsuits and the like seems to show that his beliefs are rooted in a stance against a more general, non-radical American Christianity.

American Atheists most recently launched a legal complaint against a steel cross that was found at Ground Zero following the September 11 attacks (here’s a post Stefanelli wrote on the matter). According to the group (the same organization that coordinated July 4 plane banners in cities across the nation), the cross’ inclusion in the 9/11 Memorial and Museum constitutes an “impermissible mingling of church and state.”

Voters reject immorality in NY

Public Advocate Banner

Voters in the 9th Congressional District in New York City have broken free from the pro-homosexual Democrat Plantation!

On Tuesday, they chose a socially conservative, Pro-Family congressman.

Let me tell you, I am just about to burst with excitement.

Momentum has been slowly building among Americans in support of the Family, and the effects are really starting to show.

The media is going to put a lot of spin on this, trying to explain the vote as insignificant.

But the truth is, this election was a referendum on morality in politics.

This election and the events leading up to it were an incredible renunciation of the anti-morality Agenda.

For almost 80 years straight, the Democrats have held this seat, without a single interruption.

It was only a few months ago that Rep. Anthony Weiner was forced to resign for sending lewd and disgusting messages to women.

Finally, the moral impoverishment of the anti-family establishment is abundantly clear, which I’ve been trying to expose for years.

And now the voters have rejected a Democrat candidate because of his immorality.

This is just further proof that the majority of Americans do not support the anti-family agenda.

Public Advocate has worked tirelessly to rally support in New York and across the country to stand for traditional values and moral decency.

Americans are waking up to the real nature of the anti-moral agenda and they are saying NO!

Hopefully, it will not be long before New Yorkers are voting to repeal Homosexual Marriage and other assaults on our values.

America is a nation built upon morality and the family, and your Public Advocate is on the frontlines everyday reminding our elected officials that we expect to take that stand.

We have to keep up the pressure.  Your support is absolutely vital to the work Public Advocate is doing.

This is only one victory in a sea of defeats, but this is proof that the radical Homosexual Lobby can be beaten.

We can win if we simply refuse to give up!

It is going to be a long and painful fight and it will take every ounce of support Pro-Family Americans can contribute for us to succeed.

For the Family,

Praying in Paris streets outlawed

Praying in the streets of Paris is against the law starting Friday, after the
interior minister warned that police will use force if Muslims, and those of
any other faith, disobey the new rule to keep the French capital's public
spaces secular.

Claude Guéant promised the new legislation would be followed to the letter Photo: AFP/GETTY

Claude Guéant said that ban could later be extended to the rest of France,
in particular to the Mediterranean cities of Nice and Marseilles, where "the
problem persists".

He promised the new legislation would be followed to the letter as it "hurts
the sensitivities of many of our fellow citizens".

"My vigilance will be unflinching for the law to be applied. Praying in
the street is not dignified for religious practice and violates the
principles of secularism, the minister told Le Figaro newspaper.

"All Muslim leaders are in agreement," he insisted.

In December when Marine Le Pen, then leader-in-waiting of the far-Right
National Front, sparked outrage by likening
the practice to the Nazi occupation of Paris in the Second World War
"without
the tanks or soldiers". She said it was a "political act of
fundamentalists".

More than half of right-wing sympathisers in France agreed with Marine Le Pen,
at least one poll suggested.

Nicolas Sarkozy's party denounced the comments, but the President called for a
debate on Islam and secularism and went on to say that multiculturalism had
failed in France.

Following the debate, Mr Guéant promised a countrywide ban "within
months", saying the "street is for driving in, not praying".

In April, a ban on wearing the full Islamic veil came into force. Holland
today became the third European country to ban the burka, after Belgium,
despite the fact fewer than 100 Dutch women are thought to wear the
face-covering Islamic dress.

Yesterday, Mr Guéant said the prayer problem was limited to two roads in the
Goutte d'Or district of Paris's eastern 19th arrondissement, where "more
than a thousand" people blocked the street every Friday.

However, a stroll through several districts in Paris on a Friday suggests that
Muslims spill into the streets outside many mosques.

Under an agreement signed this week, believers will be able to use the
premises of a vast nearby fire station while awaiting the construction of a
bigger mosque.

"We could go as far as using force if necessary (to impose the ban), but
it's a scenario I don't believe will happen, as dialogue (with local
religious leaders) has born fruit," he said.
