Christians Push Back Against Homosexual Bulldozer

Finally, a group of Christians in Oklahoma has come together to push back against the homosexual bulldozer. They propose inserting an exemption for Christians into the “civil rights” laws that protect homosexuals against “discrimination.”

By claiming to be “born that way,” homosexuals demand that sexual orientation and gender identity be added to laws forbidding discrimination on the basis of color, disability, race, sex, ethnicity, nationality, age, etc.

When they succeed in getting coverage under these laws, then they push for special “rights” such as the right to same-sex marriage, adopt children, and use bathrooms and showers of whatever gender they choose to “identify” with at the moment.

Not satisfied with gaining these rights, they then push to eliminate any criticism of their unnatural lifestyle. And they have largely succeeded except for those who read the Bible. Thus, Christians have become the focus of their attack.

At the website, www.defendthefamily.com, there are dozens of articles illustrating the attack by homosexuals on Christian ministries, businesses and individuals.

Dr. Scott Lively, author of numerous works on ministry to homosexuals, is organizing local pastors and Christian leaders in Oklahoma City to begin a campaign to “take back Christians’ rights to believe, live and express their biblical beliefs.” They have established a website: http://www.uccfamily.org/news.php where Oklahoma citizens can sign a petition to amend all sexual orientation regulations in Oklahoma. The petition requests that any non-discrimination ordinance in any city regulations include the following statement: “In no circumstances shall sexual orientation regulations supersede the First Amendment rights of individuals, churches and religious organizations to freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion.”

Homosexual activists have successfully persuaded the general public that their lifestyle is normal.

This has been done by infiltrating a large part of the entertainment programs and the news media to promote the lie that their unnatural relationships are healthy.

This ignores some very important facts. Committed, monogamous relationships are extremely rare in the homosexual world. Most are highly promiscuous with no interest in a single, long-term partner.
Research indicates that even in so-called same-sex marriages, most are “open” relationships where each partner is free to seek other liaisons. Further proof is in the fact that, in states that have legalized same-sex marriage, only a relative few actually show up for the license.

As far as it being a healthy lifestyle, the promiscuity level, particularly in the males, may include as many as 500 partners. This leads to an average life span of under 50 years, even before the advent of AIDS, which was originally called GRID (Gay-Related Immunodeficiency Disease) because it first showed up in the male homosexual population.

Over 50 sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are abroad in our land because of the “sexual freedom” of the last 50 years. High promiscuity, both homosexual and heterosexual has contributed to the wide spread of these STDs.

We are discovering that “God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal. 6:7) If He calls something an “abomination,” we better listen up. It is His love warning us of dire consequences.

The folks in Oklahoma have the right idea, fighting for our freedom to proclaim God’s opinion of sexual perversion. But while we still have a good measure of that freedom, we cannot allow it to go to waste.
