New World Order: Top Candidate to be Next Pope Has Ties to Creation of Global Economic System

On Feb. 10, the world was shocked to hear that Pope Benedict would step down from his Papal office on Feb. 28, and become the first leader of the Catholic church to resign from office in over 500 years. However, speculation for his replacement is already under way, and the front runner to become the next Pope has strong ties to the creation of a global economic system, as well as being a prime candidate to an ancient Catholic prophecy suggesting he would help lead the world into a new order.
The front runner to be the next pope is this man, Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson.
Cardinal Turkson has said that “if God would wish to see a black man also as pope, thanks be to God”. The Catholic Church chronicler Rocco Palmo called Turkson the lone Scripture scholar in the Pope’s “Senate” and believes that his status as a potential “papabile ” has been elevated due to his appointment as spokesman for Second Synod for Africa in 2009.
In response to the global economic crisis started in 2008, Cardinal Turkson together with bishop Mario Toso elaborated a proposal to reform the international financial system by creating a Global Public Authority and a Global Bank that consider the interest of all developing countries. The document of 40 pages was officially presented in October 2011 and criticizes the actual structure of International Monetary Fund and other institutions. – Project Avalon
While Pope Benedict’s decision to resign in office may have come as a shock to some, the interesting coincidence of the timing may be in recognition to the fact that the world, like in 2008, is rushing headlong into another global economic crisis, with several countries engaging in a currency war that started less than a month ago. As Cardinal Turkson was intricately involved in the research by the church to call for a new global economic authority, it may not be coincidence that he is being seen as the front runner to replace the current Pontiff, and is already prepared to lead the church into a new era.

Additionally, the very name of Cardinal Peter Turkson strikes deep into the heart of an ancient Catholic prophecy, where the final Pope before the biblical end times would be known as Peter the Roman, or Petrus Romanus, and is believed to be alive today according to a book written in 2012 by author and researcher Tom Horn.

As the world begins to look eerily like the 1920′s, where currency and trade wars quickly led to regime changes and eventual world war, so too are pieces falling into place where the 70 year monetary agreement of Bretton Woods is beginning to fail, and the world is rushing headlong into a new global economic system. And since the Roman Catholic church has vast global authority, with over one billion followers located around the world, the potential for a new Pope that has knowledge and guidance on economics, and has even proposed a blueprint for a new global economic system, may become a probability in the next few weeks.
